It seems I still can’t open two apps on the same screen so what’s the point?

The Siri Remote volume buttons stopped working all of a sudden and started when I disconnected and reconnected again. However after couple of hours or more, it stopped again and have to disconnect and reconnect again to use volume control.

This is happening quite frequently since last week and I have disconnected and reconnected again and again for Nearly 25 times and the frequency is increasing.

Is this a software issue or something else?

Any help would be quite appreciated.

I bought a new iPhone 15 pro max and noticed right away a strange jiggling while recording video. My old iPhone XS didn’t do this, does somebody know what a going on? Maybe someone with the same issue? It’s especially noticeable when recording video and swing from left to right or right to left.

I just checked their website, and while yes, they do have gorgeous cases, I was genuinely mindblown to see their average is between $75 and $120.

I have a high income so it's genuinely not about money, I just don't see how creating a case can be so expensive?

I bought iPhone 14 in June and Sometimes back it started to have some issues (continuous restarting). I came to know that it’s a hardware issue and they will be replacing everything except camera, back and screen. But when I went to take my phone back they said that the issue was persistent and they have given me a brand new phone instead and I was really happy about it as that’s what I initially wanted. What concerns me is, how can I check whether it’s a brand new device or not as they claim. Cause I don’t have any proof for that. They gave me the device in a different kinda box different then the box that we get when we purchase the device. And I checked through net that the model number should start with M for a brand new device but mine was starting from N which they state that it is for replaced devices. And they also mentioned that the serial number is new but serial can also be new for the repaired devices as well. Is there any way where I can check whether it’s a brand new or not?

Wouldn't it be cool if Apple made an activity tracker like the Fitbit Inspire or the Garmin Vivofit? The advantage of these devices is that they are smaller and you can sleep more comfortably with them. In addition, the battery lasts around 10 days. I regularly forget to charge my watch and then I end up with an empty watch in the middle of the day, which is super frustrating. I also don't need the advanced functionality of an Apple Watch at all. For me, a pedometer, heart rate monitor and display of someone calling or sending me a message are sufficient. Am I the only one who is waiting for such a product or would there be more interest in it?

I usually plop my phone on my rug when I’m taking a crap and things get intense, but now it’s starting to say no sim and I have to re enter it to make it read. Is my sim tray loose?

How much is a 2015 13inch macbook pro worth in Canadian $ ?

I’m looking for a way to control my iPhone when it’s connected to my TV without touching the phone display itself.

For example, I want to be able to swipe between my photos and videos but my HDMI cable is too short to be able to hold the phone in my hand while sitting comfortably on the couch.

I have tried connecting a Bluetooth mouse and although it does connect fine, it just doesn’t show anything on iOS.

Same with a PlayStation controller which only works in games and not on the iOS interface itself.

Any ideas ?

I’ve never had a macbook and not got lots of money for one but a new deal popped up at £19 a month for a Macbook air 2020 M1.

Im tempted to get it but wanted to get an idea of how powerful it is. I wouldnt be looking to play next gen games but I would be wanting to play FM23 or 24 and cities skylines 1 or 2 and games along that sort of thing. Would the air 2020 M1 be able to handle that or is it going to struggle?

I bought my first Apple Watch in April this year, shortly thereafter it broke, and I was told it was due to a battery issue, I then got it replaced and all was well for another 3 weeks, then the same issue, and it wouldn't turn on. I then got it sent off and I am pretty sure I just got a brand new watch sent to me. All was well, until 2 days ago where the same issue as before arose. I have booked an appointment at the Apple Store this weekend, and I am unsure whether to get a third replacement or just to cut my losses, get a refund and figure out what I want to do in terms of smartwatches.

The watch is still under the 1-year warranty, it is an SE2 watch. I also swim a lot (7+ hours per week) but I don't do anything beyond the rating of the watch (I've never gone deeper than 2.5m with it and only in indoor pools).

Has anyone else experienced things like this, and should I exchange it or get a refund?

Hi everyone, I recently got an iPhone 15 Pro Max. I think this is a good upgrade since I came from the iPhone 12 base model.

However, I seem to have been experiencing problems with the phone's touch sensitivity—especially the keyboard. Sometimes, I have to double-tap some letters before it goes through. Especially “L” and backspace.

Could it be that my unit is a lemon?

so... I’m a window user for my entire life but my old Lenovo laptop died. and I’m seriously considering switching to Mac.

but its leaving me with a headache because its a different world for me.

after 2 weeks of diving to youtube and the articles, i must confess I’m even more confused.

i keep reading that the macbook pro is stronger then the air but " unless you are working with video editing its not worth the money".

most of my work on it will be programming (JS, python, react node and other web applications).

But I like to play games from time to time (EU4,CK3, football manager 2014, and if i have the time and I probably won't - Baldur's gate 3)

is it good for casual games? And I’m not compering it to a very strong PC

is a m2 version of the macbook air is enough?

Do I need to cough up the extra dollars for the MacBook pro m2?

do I keep using a window laptop because I know what I’m buying?

I’ve recently upgraded to the iPhone 15 pro from a galaxy s23 and I’ve used the regular text app by Samsung. After switching to iPhone I sold my s23 but now I’m having an issue with my number still trying to receive RCS messaging. I don’t receive any android texts but they receive mine. I’ve read you can disable it through googles site but I can’t even get the verification code to do that. I’ve also seen that just after like 2 weeks it’ll auto disable itself ? Can anyone tell me if that is accurate or am I screwed?

Long story short we bought a refurb Apple Watch 5 cellular for our daughter as an easy way to get in contact without giving her a phone. I went to setup her as a family member but I couldn’t pair the watch on my wife’s phone as it needs iOS 17? (Which is not available on iPhone 8 Plus) is there no way to pair an older Apple Watch with an older iPhone?

Hi all. Wanting to buy my grandad his first ever smart phone for his 80th birthday. My husband came across an iPhone 5c in a reputable second hand tech store chain but when he went to buy it the guy behind the counter said we wouldn’t be able to FaceTime my grandad on the iPhone 5c because of out of date iOS updates. I have an iPhone 11 and husband has iPhone 13. Is that true? The whole point is so I can FaceTime my grandparents and send them pictures.

My Grandad is in his 70s and up until now, has been pretty anti technology. This will be his first smartphone, and has never really used a "dumb" mobile either.

My Grandma is in and out of hospital at the moment and they're constantly being reminded the world has become digital. He's finally bit the bullet and asked for a smartphone. By the sounds of it, he's actually quite excited, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he won't just shove it in the drawer when frustrated.

I've chosen an iPhone XS for him, as I thought it's something that will last a few years but not too fancy. It's got a new battery/screen, I will set up his email, Apple ID and will program in family members numbers. Also, warn him about scams, to not trust anyone who randomly contacts him and to contact me with any concerns.

That being said, I'm hoping to get some advice on:

The apple watch seems the most complete one so i was wondering about this feature.

I want to transfer this album of 50gb+ to my pc to free up some space. But it has been a solid couple of hours of me trying to find out a way of doing it but it’s just so complicated that I’ve given up.

I’ve tried connecting my phone to the pc but the albums don’t show up in that. Itunes isn’t working out as well. Are there any simpler methods for me to accomplish the needed?

Hey, I buy a new iPhone every 4-5 years and currently rocking the 11PM

Thinking on buying the 15PM and trying to figure out which case is the best option for protection as well as long lasting because this industry is creating a 13 Billion KG of plastic waste a year.

So I would buy just one really good case for 4-5 years.
