When I swipe left on the Lock Screen all I get is a blank camera, however it works when switching to pano, video, slow-mo, and Timelapse.

The camera also works fine in the Snapchat app. iPhone 13 Pro Max. Up to date. (17.1.1)

Coming from an IP 12 Pro, which phone should I upgrade to? (Consider me getting 2 years contract for this)

My Series 5 shattered (got stepped on by accident), and while it works fine still, I can tell there’s gaps where the actual screen is unprotected, and I’d like to swap for a new one.

Eyeing the 2nd gen SE’s since they’re on sale and wondering if this is a step down, or a step sideways in some way. I don’t use my watch for much else other than checking texts while I’m at work, checking weather and sunset at a glance (important for what I do for work), and for fitness tracking when I play hockey.

Wondering what the main differences are besides the Always On Screen (which I don’t think I’ll miss).

Got rid of all the Roku Ultras in my house and switched to Apple TVs. I'm using the Apple TV remote for TV power and after the first day or so there's a huge delay in how long it takes to turn on the TV. Seems to be close to 30 seconds. I tried switching the control method from HDMI to IR for the Apple TV and that didn't improve the delay. Any thoughts?

i’m looking at getting a new phone (i currently have the 11). ignoring when the phones came out, which iphone is the best between the iPhone 13-15?? (not pros!!)

ive recorded a video for class 3 times now and every time it wont let me download it anywhere else or move it elsewhere. i plug my phone into my laptop, try to move it onto my laptop, it wont let me. i tried to email it but file too large. i tried to send it to myslef in discrod and it said "cannot send empty file" . what is happening???

I have a new to me AW SE 2nd Gen and it came with a generic no name brand USB charging puck. I noticed that my watch gets warm during charging, but not super hot or anything. Charging speeds seem unaffected. Should I err on the side of caution and just get an official charging puck from Apple?

I just exchanged numbers with a new co-worker and iMessage asked me to share my contact poster thing, and I did. But it got me thinking, what info gets shared with that? I have addressed, emails, etc on my contact card. Is there a way to limit what’s shared when you “update” your contact info with someone?

My brother is mentally challenged and can get obsessive with the music app. Is there a way either hide/disable/require passcode to make the music not accessible. Thanks for the help!!

usage- very light development, majorly presentations, data analysis and just tones & tones of chrome tabs.

I was originally going for M2 Air but got convinced M1 mb pro is better but nowThe price difference is so close so I am tempted for M3.

I'll try to explain the issue as clearly as possible, but please let me know if I can clarify anything. I have an iPhone 13 Pro running iOS 17.1.1.

Since updating to iOS 17 there is an intermittent issue with photos that I have just taken looking very low res in my library and not being able to be shared, almost as if the photo was on the cloud and I'm only seeing the low-res preview of it. For example, I might take a picture and within a minute try to text it so someone, and I'll see the following:

Sometimes the photos will become available within a couple minutes, other times it can take hours. I do have iCloud Photos turned on with "Optimize iPhone Storage" turned on. My understanding is that the optimize setting stores older photos on the cloud, but newer ones should still be on my device. Is that correct? Even so, brand new photos that shouldn't have had time to sync to the cloud yet are giving me this issue... Any idea what is going on and how to fix it?

Is there any way to get a gradual alarm sound for wake up?

I searched the web and some said to use Sleep/wake up function, but when I tried to turn on an alarm through that it still started the alamr at 100% volume.

I find it odd that you can't choose the alarm sound to be gradual, coming from android.

I'm trying to set up an acount.i live in Ontario Canada but when I try to set up my billing address Ontario is not available in the area where you would put in your state/Provence. No country options and it does not change after I put in my postal code any advice?

I’ve tried everything. I can not press and hold the microphone. Nothing pops up. When I’m dictating there is not a language beside the little microphone that comes up while dictating. In settings under Enable Dictation there is not the section for Language selection. Oh god this is so annoying. iPhones used to be SO GOOD and intuitive. I’m changing my mind.

So I was calling my mom trying to FaceTime her. I was waiting for her to pick up as it was ringing. Yall know that sound it makes when you’re trying to FaceTime someone?? All of a sudden my iPhone sped up the sound and my phone got super loud. Idk how to describe it, but i even ended the call (she didn’t pick up) and the sound kept happening. It started to sound like feedback from a microphone or something. My phone started to vibrate with how loud it was and I tossed it out of my hand. It lasted about 10 seconds then it stopped. I restarted my phone and then called my mom. It’s hard for me to find any explanations for this and I haven’t seen anyone say something similar to this so idk what to do, im scared it’ll happen again. Not even my volume buttons would turn it down.

When I try to play high quality videos like 4-8GB (not a film, a 45-minute TV show for example) with high bitrate (25MB/s+) it doesn’t play and it shows this icon

I want to know why this happens and if it is normal or not? Is it because the phone can’t display the bitrate that high? How does it work?

Same thing happens on my iPad, even If I’ve downloaded the entire video
