I was able to look past the scratches stains because honestly all you need to clean it is an alcohol free wet wipes and other goes back to it’s newish state. But this one, no! The color comes off like this in less than a month? 🤯.

An official apple case just ruined a 3rd party MagSafe accessory, times have changed.

It seems to be something I've noticed in the past week or two that apps like Reddit or X(itter) kill music playback as soon as they are opened. Wasn't it the case that video audio would only get in the way if you played them or tapped them or whatever?

Is it just me? If so, how can I stop it? Perhaps Apple just wants me to stop using social media for my own mental health?

I switched to Apple devices back in 2009 with the introduction of the first iPhone and unibody laptops and have owned many machines ever since. I always tend to stay 1-2 system versions behind as I really value stability and reliability of my systems rather than the new functions. For the last 2 years I’ve been using Catalina on my MBP 2015, 2018 iMac and my wife’s MBP 2016. I would stick to Catalina for longer but since some apps have recently dropped support or even stopped working completely I was sort of forced to update again. I went for Monterey as it’s 2 versions behind the newest one plus the last macOS working with the 2015 laptop so I thought it should be all fine. But I’ve been so disappointed with the system!! It seems full of bugs even in the Apple software like Mail or Safari!!! And that is 2 years after introduction and with lots of previous updates.

Furthermore, I seem to have lost the very simple drag-n-drop function that has been on the Macs forever and that has differentiated the Macs since early 2000s! I used to be able to drag and drop attachments/images/files between all my messenger apps, email, safari etc and now I found out it rarely works like it used to before.

I don’t even want to mention that slowing down of my computers which have been super fast and smooth until now…

Could someone explain me if it’s something wrong with me if Apple has started making worse OS’s while forcing people to update or is it the old machines problem so I should just throw away all 4 of my Macs and get new ones even though the old machines are still great! :(

Hello everyone!I'm facing this weird issue when I plug in the MagSafe and nothing happens... or it takes some time to start charging... has anyone experienced this problem? Started to notice this issue after upgrading to macOS 14

When it happens I have to disconnect and connect the MagSafe a couple of times to start charging... and some times it works on first try (most of the time)...

it has been about 2 months since i had my iphone 15 pro and this message is displayed, “you must have a sim associated with an apple device for to be used for imessage and facetime” i have tried everything on the internet. other people using the same carrier and same plan have no problem activating it. i even contacted the apple costumer care and no solution at all. Is there anyone else with this issue and any solution to this problem? I have tried everything suggested on the apple forum including a full reset. nothing seems to work. The carrier is NEPAL TELECOM in NEPAL. The sms send and recieve all work. just the face time and imessage arent activated… i desperately need a fix

Recently upgraded from my iPhone 8 to a 15PM and haven’t for the life of me been able to connect my Apple Watch to the new phone.

Ended up connecting it back to the 8 just so I can use the watch for the time.

Hi is there a way to clear a notification (instagram message in particular) with a single swipe? Everytime i swipe on the notification it gives me either “Options” or “Clear” is there a way to make it that it doesnt ask me and just deletes the notification right away? Got iphone 13 btw. Thank you!

I’ve decided to write to all of you, Iphone connoisseurs, in order to know what model of iPhone is the one in the linked photo. It sparked my curiosity and interest and I would love to know if it’s a good one :) At the moment, I am a proud owner of an XS Max that I truly love and used for everything (from photography, photo editing, creating illustrations, PowerPoint presentations, essays for university etc) and the poor one is quite overwhelmed and it shows signs of weakness and deterioration (shutting down during the day, trouble opening apps …). If you want, I am also open for any great recommendations for an iPhone that can do what my current one does in pain (I am more interested in a model that would not die after a year or so and that can shoot beautiful photos).

I have upgraded the iOS to 16.7.2 on the phone but still won’t work

So i’ve royally fucked up my iPhone 13 Pros back glass and was planning on getting a second one with other broken parts (cracked front glass, water damaged) and was wondering what i would need to swap to retain all the features (face id, battery health, cameras etc) i know i cant just do a board swap since id need to also swap the display and front camera assembly to keep face id and true tone etc.. but are there any other important parts like the cameras that are also paired?

Recently came across a post saying watchtube is dead. I didn't even know it existed :/ Wondering if there are any other apps dedicated for the watch OS that you use on a daily basis?

Title says it all, really. IPhone 11, APN settings are up to date, called the carrier, they reset the settings on their end, say it has to be the phone.

Does anyone know something else I can try?

I wish there was a speaker volume limiter. Because I accidentally pushed the volume to the max, the speaker was blown again. And it wasn’t even loud music, just the intro music of a game. The speakers are not made to handle max volume, but there is also no option to limit the max volume. There is only an option for headphones, but why not also for the internal speakers? It’s not that difficult to add it.

I setup an automation that estimates the charging time when plugged into power. Both wired and wireless.

I was wondering how accurate it is as the estimate as the estimate is the same for both wired (27w) and wireless (15w)

Just got the new iPhone 15 after my old 12 pro died, and I need a case. Unfortunately I’m VERY clumsy and have a habit of dropping my phone a lot, so I want a case that can really withstand some damage. I’ve used otterbox forever but have been less than satisfied with their products recently, having gone through several on my old phone only for the back to shatter anyway. Any suggestions? Preferably something not too expensive

The phone I have is iPhone 12 Mini

I have an se2020 and an iphone 7 - they sit next to each other, the SE cant see the wifi, the 7 works just fine.

Why? Does the SE have weaker hardware in general or this specific phone is just bad?

I switched carriers a couple of days ago while retaining the same number I had for 6 years now. I switched carriers before and there was no problem, until now. I do have e-sim and this is my first IPhone. If anyone knows how I can fix this please let me know.
