Hi! As the title says, my problem is that I can’t edit my workouts after I log them. I just recently got an Apple Watch (SE2022) and I have tried it for my workout for the first time. It was all good at first when I was outside, but then I got inside the gym and that’s when my problems starts. I was cycling for a good 40 mins, 15kms total, everything’s logged expect the distance I did. I can’t find free option to edit an already logged workout, but I’d like to see the distances I did.

Before getting the watch I was manually adding everything (distance, time etc.), but now that the watch can track everything I would still like to log the distance I do (while in the gym).

Is there a way to do it? Maybe on the IPhone health app? I’d like to just bring my watch to my workouts, but I want to see all the results. Thanks in advance!

i went on the home app and the home would like to send critical alerts but now im stuck on the screen it wont get rid of it how do i do it my phone is a iphone 14

I’m trying to find a decent apple watch screen protector, but the past ones I tried either was a full silicone case that was hard to press the buttons, or a screen protector that falls off easily. I’ve looked around on eBay but I don’t know what is good and will work. I’m on a tight budget ($5-$20).

I’m at the beach and decide to take a dip. I swim for a bit and my watch recognizes a pool swim workout and asks me whether it should track it. Gladly, but how?

Being already in the water has the screen locked. Pressing the crown, the side button and the workout button cancels the workout. The crown and side button at the same time does noting. When I finish my workout, get out of the water and deactivate the water lock, the workout vanishes as well. How does Apple expect me to handle that swim workout prompt?

I switched away from android after several years for convenience and work purposes. I went from the s22+ to the iphone 14 purely because the price was comparable. I am 4 mos into iphone and I am really missing the camera quality. I never realized how much zoom and night modes I depended on haha. The pictures do not compare in my opinion.

I’m thinking of upgrading to a different iPhone if there’s one with camera quality that compares to the s22+. If not. I may just switch back to Samsung next time. The gimmicks and convenience communicating with other iPhone users is not worth sacrificing the great camera.

Ps- I know nothing about camera specs. I can just objectively see that the Samsung pictures are more impressive and I never had to mess with the settings. It just worked.

In short, my iPhones screen doesn't work because of water damage so I can't see anything but I can hear notifications and turn my phone on and off. I'm currently using an android but all of my data is gone despite me putting my sim card in. Can someone tell me how to get all my stuff back? I really need my photos and contacts back so I can continue doing my job. I'm not tech savvy at all and Google doesn't seem to be helping so this is my last resort - someone please help!

As the title says, I’ve noticed lately that I’ve got no data while talking on the phone on my secondary SIM line. Primary line data works fine while on a call, secondary line shows LTE but will not connect to anything.

Setup: Line 1 eSIM on Spectrum Mobile. Line 2 eSIM on T-Mobile.

Anyone else experiencing the same thing? Switching Spectrum to secondary and T-Mobile to primary resolves the issue while on a T-Mobile call but data no longer works in a Spectrum call, so it’s definitely not a provider issue.

Anyone know the date it will be released on Apple TV ??

My business phone has gone kaput. Refuses to bootup. Tried hard reset and entering recovery mode and then tried updaing/restoring via itunes - both of which failed. Now it permanently boots into recovery mode.

I feel there is a hardware issue as the face ID was starting to play up in last 24 hours too.

The phone has a 6 digit pin, with 15 incorrect entries and wipe set to on.

Is it safe to hand in my phone to apple for replacement if they offer it to me? It's got work a lot of work documents/client emails/financial details (own business) on it and just want to make sure before I agree to giving it to them.

For what it's worth I have set Find my Iphone to "Lost mode" via my ipad, but it obvious has not activated as the phone has not booted. I did not try and erase the phone as I read here it is not a good idea for a 'lost' phone.

Hi sorry if i am not allowed to post this here but i figured it would be a place to start. I dropped my iphone 13 from around hip height on the back and very slightly angled down toward the cameras, it initally turned on when i picked it back up but after i hit the power button to turn it off it hasnt turned back on since. Charging the phone doesnt even make a viabration neither does holding the power and volume buttons, and it doesnt show up on my laptop when plugged in. Please help.

Yesterday at night I accidentally dropped my iPhone 13 in water. It works fine,doesn’t say anything about water damages but now some apps are weirdly laggy and even just stop working and kick me back to the Home Screen. It’s not with every app but with some once a while. Should I go have it checked out ?

I am currently using a pixel 7 with 128gb. 77% used since last year. I dont take too many pics but i understand iphone pics are bigger in storage sizes? I plan to use the phone for two years. Should that be ok?

Well I captured this photo from a video and curious about the band accessory. It's like a camera extension that enables video call for the Apple Watch.

I got a new Apple TV 4K today and have started to watch YouTube tv on it. The videos are very jittery for some reason. When I checked stats for nerds it showed 0 frames dropped but the fps is occasionally dropping. I am using hdmi 2.1. My internet speed is 280-300 mbps

We both have android but she likes pink stuff and I wasn't seeing a lot of good options for phones and watches. Today I secretly bought her a pink iPhone 15 plus, pink apple watch 9, and an unfortunately white pair of airpods pro 2. She has no idea they're coming and I have no idea how she'll react to being moved to the apple ecosystem. Maybe if she likes it I'll eventually change over.

I've got an iPhone XS that is iCloud locked to my wife's account

The screen is not cracked but the touch screen has stopped working, so there is no way for me to unlock the phone without getting a new screen fitted. I've tried everything.

The back glass on the rest of the phone is cracked so this would affect the resale value if I did try to sell on

What would you do with the phone?

Get the screen fixed and take the lock off and sell with cracked back and hope I cover the repair and more?

Fix screen and fix the cracked back and sell and hope to make a profit

Write it off and forget about it?

Is this just on my computer?

Back in August, I uninstalled Apple TV Preview because every 13 minutes a video would stop playing for a few seconds while the audio would continue and then suddenly it would resume. I had other issues with it as well, but that was the deal-breaker.

On November 18th, I installed it again just to see how it's doing. All playback was perfect, so I was very happy. Until today.

I tried to watch all 7 episodes of The Last Thing He Told me. It was the first thing I watched today (yeah I have enough time on my hands to watch all 7 in a row). I got through all of them, but every single video had occasional framerate drops at irregular intervals where it would get very choppy for a few seconds and then recover. The first time it happened, I skipped back to the moment it happened just to see if maybe it was just network congestion, but it happened again at the exact same spot as though it was baked into the video. So I restarted my computer and yet the framerate drop was still at the exact same spot. So I downloaded the video to see if maybe it was just due to streaming it, but it was still at the same spot. Again, like it's baked into the video.

So then I kept watching the show and it kept happening at irregular intervals and every single time it happened, I was able go back to watch the same exact part of the video to see the framerate drop again. I can go back and start a video I just watched and skip right to a framerate drop spot to watch the framerate drop happen. It's seriously as though it's baked in. It's like having scratches on a DVD.

I decided to shrug this off assuming the entire series was just a bad upload, but I just spent a huge amount of time learning it's every single video. None of them have perfect playback. Even the movies and shows I watched since November 18th that had perfect playback now have these framerate drops.

So I want to know if this is happening to everyone in this app or just me.

It doesn't happen in the web browser 'app', but the video quality is quite noticeably much more compressed so I'm not watching anything there instead. I just want to know if others are experiencing this too.

No, no changes have been made on my computer since November 18th. No Windows Updates, no new apps, nothing.

after creating one post here someone told me to turn on do not disturb mode but that completely deletes notifications. what im having problem with is that when some notification comes,it wakes my screen so it drains battery. what i want is for it not to turn my screen on but when i double tap the screen to see the notification there. is there a way to do this or not? turning DND and putting the apps as exceptions makes them work as if DND wasnt on so this doesnt solve it.
