Hi, during recording I can hold and drag the "picture"-button and let it go over the camera release button. The picture-button shows a padlock icon and the recording stops when I let go but I can't see anything else happening. What is the function here?

Is anyone else having issues setting up the eSIM? I just purchased an iPhone 15 unlocked since I like prepaid plans better, but now the carrier website says “eSIM available only for iPhone 12 and later models” so it seems like my IMEI is not detected as a new model. I’ve done research and some people say it’s the carrier, some say it’s the new 17 software. Any ideas or suggestions? Help!! I’m thinking of returning the phone if I can’t get it to work.

Hello everyone. Today I tried to restore my iPhone 14 Pro Max and it got stuck in the apple logo with the status bar at full. And it is unresponsive. I cannot force restart it. The only thing that changes is when I do not touch the screen for a while, it shows my lock screen. Any ideas how I can get it running again. Thanks in advance!

Hey All:

Husband recently got the iPhone 15 Pro and is experiencing a great deal of sensitivity to touch on the outer edge of the screen. I know on phones I've had in the past where use of the edge was a selling point, but you could also change the settings on it.

Anyone know of any setting to change the sensitivity or turn the edge off entirely?

The screen is still fully functional and responds when pressed. Not sure if its cost effective to fix or if i should just get a new one.

Every time I bump my phone to my watch I get the NameDrop animation.

I can’t figure out what I’m sharing between my iPhone and watch since both are on the same iCloud account.

Is it just an animation or are they sharing something and if yes how to check what it is.

I’ve been a iPhone user for ages and tried lots of different apps to replace the native iOS apps. As a casual user though I keep coming back to the native apps because they just work across all my devices. So I guess I’m curious what everyone uses instead from a casual point of view

Hello,I have been looking for a charger brick that can replace both my MacBook charging brick and iPhone charging brick. I find myself more often than not having to charge both devices at the same time and I wanted one brick that can charge both at safe power levels. As far as watts and volts, I am not sure what the numbers mean and what I should be looking for. Can someone recommend a charging brick for me? I have seen the anker line of charging bricks and I heard they can be used for both but I am not sure, and well, they are quite expensive. I am not shy from spending money on a good charger, as it should last for years of usage, but I want to make sure I am getting the right thing. Please advise!!!!

Hello everyone! I do hot yoga in a sauna at about 120*F … I think it might’ve killed my series 6. Either that, or I started using a non-Apple brand watch charging station a couple weeks ago that did it. Apple says my battery has degraded considerably.

Anyway, I say all that to say - I really want an Ultra 2. The specs say it can withstand use in temperatures up to 130* F. Does anyone do hot exercise with theirs? I want one so bad. I would’ve ordered it today if my local Apple Store delivered to my zip code. I’m afraid of pickup at the store tomorrow being Black Friday. 🙄

So i have a folder that contains multiple.mp3 files which is i imported from CD. To listen it i have to use "Files" app in ios. And cant auto-play next one, have to click by yourself.

I want to stream it on my iphone. Do you know is there an free app for that??

I tried vlc. Don't support import a folder that has mp3s. So it's impossible to import 100 audio files one by one

I want to purchase another ultra band but I cant decide between the Alpine Loop or the Ocean Band. I’ll be doing a lot of biking and swimming as such that’s why I’m leaning more towards the Alpine Loop, I already own the Trail Loop. I just feel the Alpine might be more secure when swimming and snorkeling. Any help is much appreciated! 🫡

My iPhone when swiping up and down is very jittery and choppy.I think it’s not true 120 hz. I updated to iOS 17.1 and it hasn't improved at all. Who is like me? Please help me.

I was looking at the alpine loop but didn’t realise there was 3 sizes unlike the Trail loops 2.

I don’t have an Apple Store near to try sadly.

For reference I have attached where the M/L trail loop fits on my wrist. I think maybe 180-185mm wrist.

So right at 1 end of the medium. Is it best to size up?

Widget suddenly disappears when scrolling between screens. Does this happen for anyone else? iOS 17.1.1

I have downloaded the surround sound test app. When using atmos I only get stereo, when forcing it to Dolby 5.1 it works. I have no idea why. I am using a Sony STR-DH590 as my receiver. I have it set to direct.

Is there something I am missing?

Ever since i purchased the iphone 15 Pro the phone has been running hot and the battery drains extremely quickly. Apple states there are no hardware issues and they are refusing to service the phone under warranty. Any advice?
