For the past 2 months or so my phone has insisted on using data even when I’m on wifi, despite checking wifi assist is turned off dozens of times over the months. I have to actively turn off data in the control panel when I’m WiFi otherwise it will burn through a month’s data in an hour or two.

Has anyone else encountered this? Is there just some other setting I need to disable on top of wifi assist?

I am a software developer and I mainly work as a backend developer but I also do some work in the front-end as well, so I want to buy robust hardware to run backend services using Node.js, Java, Go, Docker, k8s, etc.

My primary objective is to invest in hardware that will remain relevant and efficient for at least the next five years.

I've been looking into this options:

Anybody else having this issue? Hold the remote button for voice search in YouTube for example and Siri tries searching outside of the app and says it can’t find anything? Seems to have randomly started a few days ago.

I have been an happy apple watch user for a few years.

My previous series 4 aluminium just broke on a light fall.

I bought a new one ( series 4 steel ), and got a full replacement last summer for a battery issue ( under 75% ).

The "brand new full replacement" watch stopped working ( watch unresponsive and overeating on charge, not charging anymore) just after the 90 days of warranty extension.

And now it's 400$ charged if i want to avoir buying a new one. The apple store told me my watch had a shock ( even if they did not see anything when i was there), and considering the state of the watch and having never let her fall down, i can't avoid being suspicious with the way they see it.

So no more Apple Watch for me. I did enjoy the ride, but i don't trust the reliability of the product anymore.

My weather app just refuses to load the weather, either in app or as a complication. Anyone experiencing it or anyone experienced it and have found a way to fix it? I'm on watch os 10.2

I had to factory reset my phone yesterday after an issue with the latest iOS update. Ever since then Instagram won’t even open to let me sign in. I’ve uninstalled the app multiple times and still have the same issue. Any thoughts?

I would request them to come up more stable and reliable and less frequent ios updates.

They KNOW they’re spam calls. They KNOW the uncheckmarked numbers are not valid. So why the hell do they let these calls through? Anyone know?

Hello everyone, i am thinking of ether getting an iphone 14 or iphone 15 as my next phone. But it has been a while since i have had an iphone (last was a second hand iphone 5s) hence why i am asking for help here,

I currently have an s20fe with 128gb of storage.

(Skipping is also an option as i dont wanna make a rushed decision)

I’m trying to find a way for a complication to show what time my Sleep Bedtime is set for.

The native sleep complication shows the wake up time or last nights sleep duration. But I want to see what time my bedtime is set for.

I have AutoSleep, Athlytic, and SuperSet, all of which are fine. AutoSleep will show the recommended time for my bedtime, but I don’t want to use that. I set my bedtime manually each morning. And I’d like to see on my AW a complication showing what time my bedtime is set for.

Alternatively I’d like an alert to go off 10 minutes before my bedtime. I’ve tried making a shortcut automation, but can’t figure it out.

Any help would be appreciated.

I want to buy an Apple Watch to track my heart rate and number of laps as I swim, and that's it. The reason I'm choosing the Apple Watch as a fitness tracker is that looking at the graphs on the youtube channel The Quantified Scientist, it looks like it is a lot more accurate than any other wrist-worn device, and a few percentage points off can give a very wrong heart rate reading. My primary phone isn't even an iPhone, I just have one lying around to activate it with. I haven't found any other comparisons that are this in-depth. But it's difficult to understand the software without having one, so I just want to make sure I can swim and look at my wrist and see both my heart rate and number of laps in a 15 yard pool. Also, it looks like every Apple Watch in the last several years has the exact same heart rate sensors so I can just go with the cheapest SE or whatever. Is this correct? Thanks.

I have a non-Peloton treadmill, and I use my Apple Watch to sync heart rate, and distance. But just yesterday I noticed really odd speeds. And not only that, it was jumping all over the place.

I’m a fairly steady runner, so I decided to do a test. One mile, consistent speed on the treadmill. This is what I got.

No new hardware. Any idea what might be happening, or how I can resolve it?

I woke up and my notifications in all apps have stopped. When I open twitter it shows like this and I can’t click on the notification button. I turned my phone off and on but still the same problem. Not a single notification so far. I have iPhone 12 pro and it has the latest update. Please help me!!

Hello, I´ve order a new 15 PM, but before oponed it I saw that the serial number starts with an F, which allegedly means it is refurbished. Should I return it as I bought a brand new or The F doesn´t means anything?

I purchased the iPhone SE 3 2 weeks ago as my starter IPhone to see how it went. To my surprise the small screen actually has a lot more advantages than disadvantages. I just got case without a screen protector to see if I could unintentionally scratch it by using it normally without dropping it. Well as we all know shit happens and while I was at the store I dropped it face down with a case on but no protector. However what was strange was when I observed the phone after I left the store. It had no micro scratches, scratches, scuffs or cracks. I couldn’t believe it and I just assumed I got extremely lucky and if something like that was to happen again it would bust all to pieces. Well just last night it fell off my bed on its own face down. I was terrified while observing the phone but once again no scratches or micro scratches once so ever. I looked up how durable the iPhone SE 3 was and many people have stated they use their phone completely naked and have dropped it numerous of times but to their surprise it did nothing. Of course if you drop it more than 4 ft which I didn’t, it probably do something. Has anyone else noticed how durable the se 3 is?

I have to take my MacBook to trade in when my new one is ready for pickup in a couple of weeks. Instructions are not clear (only state to remove Apple ID) on whether I have to take in the box, charger and magsafe cable as well or is just the Macbook like it's done with iPhone trade ins. It would be nice to have an extra charger around. Anyone with experience on this?

I currently live here in Asia. I’m getting the Iphone 15 Pro Max real soon, and I can’t seem to find the exact type of case that I want.

There are barely any anime case designs for the 15 series especially with Magsafe.

My idea is simply a clear case with my favorite anime and the magsafe ring.

If there are also shops that you could suggest that maybe has these things, that would be awesome.

What's you recommendations? Coming from an analog watch so 41 mm seems "normal", however I'm worried it's too small and that I'll regret not getting the bigger screen....

My watch updated and I am so confused. I had a separate face for my movement- I would go there & start a workout that way. It isn’t letting me have a separate face with this update. How are y’all starting a workout?

hii so basically what the title says. i just updated my phone like 45 mins ago and i got this message in the pic. when i try to connect it in settings i just get and error and it happens every time. i tried turning off facetime but it was off and disconnected and i can’t turn it back on either. i’ve restarted my phone a few times too. apparently people are getting my texts and i’m receiving them too and i was able to make a call, it’s just weird and worrying to me that it says imessage isn’t working so i want it to fix. is anyone else having this problem after the update?
