I don’t why but I feel like the keyboard can’t keep up with my typing speed since I updated to iOS 17

It has those “lag” moments when it will stop animations and writing but will register all the letters I press

And oh my god when I’m on batt. Saving mode it feels like a turtle I have a 14 pm

I have a question, if anybody owns an A1625 model of apple tv, or the nearest one from the 4th gen, can tell how does it perfomr on apple arcade? i'm interested to buy one but i dont have any info whatsoever on its performance on apple arcade, if someone here happens to own one and can tell themselves, it would be very helpful, thanks.

I have an old iPhone 8, which I plan to upgrade next year, and in the mean time I bought an Ultra 2. I remember GPS being unreliable in rural areas or places with poor signal, when I used Google Maps, with offline map downloaded. Will my Ultra 2 help in that regard?

What is the quickest way to wipe all photos from icloud. If possible can I do this from an iphone , if not please let me know of an alternative way. I need all the photos gone and inaccessible from there.

I traded off my last phone for an iPhone SE Gen2 and I’ve been enjoying it so much.

But it has a little bit of damage on the upper left side of the screen, it was broken by the previous owner. It’s not that noticeable but It doesn’t look good either of course. It can become bigger if it accidentally slips off of my hand lol.

The battery percentage is pretty meh too, 86 to be exact. I can get to the end of the day if I don’t use it that much but It doesn’t hold up that well.

I can’t choose both because I don’t have any current income…

So, what would you suggest?

Here in Costa Rica, a certified Apple repair and retail store can do either of them for around $80. With warranty and everything.

This phone was bought brand new by myself in the UK and worked fine up until a couple of weeks ago....

Despite working perfectly it would not update to the latest IOS - I tried various times but it always got stuck on 'verifying update'

After calling Apple support, they asked me to update using a cable which failed and then to restore the phone by wiping it to factory settings - This also failed and has left me with a device in recovery mode.

They then sent me to the Apple store to try and recover using a Macbook Pro - this also failed at around 33% of the way through the IOS install with Error 9 - the same error I was getting on my Windows Laptop.

Please help me.

Hi everyone, I haven’t been able to save my iMessages in my iCloud.

I thought perhaps it was due to not having the latest iOS on my phone. So I downloaded the latest iOS and I still get the following message:

Messages in iCloud Cannot be Set Up This feature requires two-factor authentication. The Apple ID does not support two-factor authentication.

My phone is an iPhone XR.

I plan on getting a 15 but I want to be able to keep my messages by saving them in the cloud. But for some reason my account won’t allow it? I can’t find out why anywhere.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

First of all, I’m tech literate. But I have never had my apple watch function properly.

I get about 10% of my messages (Ive looked at all icloud syncing settings).

Recently it wouldnt pair to my phone so I reset it and now none of the apps load and when I go to settings on my phone to deal with them they just show as permanently loading.

Ill download music to spotify or some shit and one simple album wont download all the way after multiple hours and attempts.

I got this and cellular to leave my phone on runs. This damn thing wont work.

Hi guys, wouldn't it be cool if your Apple Watch could wake you up when your sleep goal is reached?
Like say you're flexible with your work and don't always have the same routine at evenings, so you set your sleep goal at 8 hours und your watch wakes you up as soon as that goal is reached and your day can begin.

What do you think about that? I couldn't really find anything similar on here.

I backed up my 13 and then when setting up my 15 I didn’t have good connection so I skipped over transferring the data to the 15. Is there a way to still do that or do I have to factory reset the 15 to be able to? I can see my old iPhone backup info in the settings but can’t see if there’s a way to still transfer it.

Hi, I'd like to update, but my previous experience with major updates showed that things might not always work that smooth. So how is iPhone 13 mini doing on the new iOS 17? Any significant problems with battery or performance?

So I am visiting family and it seems like my parents have started liking the watch for its fitness and health tracking capabilities and they want to purchase it themselves. But before that they want to just try it for a few days. Is there a way that un-syncs my phone so that they are not able to access my personal notifications, data, etc.. and can still keep a track of their fitness data? I will be again syncing it after a week and don’t also want to lose my data. The do not also own an iPhone.

Looking to get a new laptop for college and software development and have heard so many mixed reviews is the m1 air still powerful enough to handle a heavy work load? Should I just get the m2 or is the m3 necessary if I wanna build stuff and keep it for a while?

Good morning, I switched to iphone 14 from one plus, transferred data through move to ios and transferred (supposedly) everything. I ticked the option to transfer whatsapp data, however there is not chat history on my iphone, just the chats without content in them. Is there a way to restore the chat content in my iphone? Thanks

My mom’s iPhone was stolen 3 weeks ago.

The thief took out the SIM card and turned off the phone so FindMy hasn’t updated. They haven’t turned it on since so the erase hasn’t happened either.

The thieves have been WhatsApping pretending to be Apple Support with a US number, but we obviously haven’t responded.

Is there any way to figure out and get back at these lowlifes?

Would really want to teach them a lesson. Have the resources to do it if I can just figure out some details about them.

Trying to back up my wife's photos on an SSD, roughly 200gb worth. It's quoting 15 hours estimated....how? That's ridiculous for 200gb of data.

I have tried to an external drive and to my PC's internal m.2 Samsung 970 pro. Literally 1 of the fastest SSD you can get. So all fingers point towards the iPhone being the slow part?

I have added some language in keyboard(nepali, hindi, us english) so whenever i tap emoji section and after coming back to text it automatically get changed to other language rather than english. So again i have to tap the globe(earth icon to change language) Any support?

I have an iPhone 13 which I purchased completely new from apple in July. There is a problem with my camera app. When I try taking pictures in portrait mode in outdoors conditions, I am able to capture a couple of shots beautifully but after a few shots, when I click the camera shutter again, the screen goes completely black with no icons showing and a few seconds later the app crashes and I’m back on my home screen and the photo that I captured is also not saved. I’m not spamming the camera button and waiting patiently for the portrait mode photo to be processed and saved before continuing to capture the next shot. The screen becomes unresponsive for the time and I have to lock my phone and unlock it again for it to work sometimes but usually it comes back to the home screen by itself. I started noticing this issue since iOS 17 and I have updated to the latest version of iOS 17.1.2 and the issue still persists. And also, the phone starts to heat up whenever this glitch happens.

Is there any fix for this that I can apply?

My 2nd gen has started playing a random ringtone-esqe jingle every time I get in my car today. Before I even put the key in the ignition (my cars built in Bluetooth is fried, so it isn’t even paired to it). when I turn on the screen, it stops playing it, and I have no notifications. I haven’t done the most recent iOS update because of the forced notification tone change, I have not downloaded any new apps or changed any settings. Has anyone heard of this before?

I’m rly wondering this, because I exercise every day but it still seems that my VO2 max is going down everyday.. Like 28.11 it was 29.4 and now 3 days later it shows 29. I fast walk everyday, my heartrate goes to the max when doing that and it’s rly good exercise but still it seems that my fitness doesn’t improve.

Do you find it how accurate i’m curious?
