Hi, im looking for a highly thermally conductive high end screen protector. could you guys recommend something? I play games and it heats up the phone so i want to dissipate as much heat as possible.

Does Apple always give out the $150 gift card if purchased through the Education Store option? Wondering if I should purchase a MBA through Apple or B&H - the initial cost from Apple would be higher unless the $150 gift card is factored in. Thank you!

So I flew from central time zone to pacific time zone, and my iPhone was on airplane mode the entire flight. During the flight (I checked about every hour), the time remained central time. However, when I landed, I took out my phone, and noticed it had changed to pacific time. It was still on airplane mode, and it wasn’t connected to Wi-Fi or any Bluetooth device. Usually the time zone changes after I get out of airplane mode, but this was the first time it did it while staying in airplane mode, anyone know why? Thanks

Hoping for some help...My friend is confused because when she opens her contacts on her iPhone 6 (or 7, I'm not sure), her granddaughter's card appears above the alphabetical list of contacts as if the granddaughter was the owner of her phone. In the list of all her contacts the entry for her granddaughter is labled "me". This happened suddenly and my friend doesn't know what she did to cause it. I had a look at her phone, but couldn't figure out how to change this. Right now my friend is considering temporarily deleting the contact of her granddaughter to see if the phone reverts to displaying the correct owner, but she is hesitating because she doesn't want to make the situation worse.

I noticed that some markets get the 15 Pro Max models with an oval just under the unlock button. My 15 Pro Max does not.

Is it just some markets that do?

However, I can seem to view the Apple One subscription even though she picked a family plan. Is there a way to know why?

Unfortunately, a class representative made a grave error by showing some of the most offensive messages to our teacher. Now, our teacher has stated that he will review all the messages and give zeros to those who sent derogatory content. While my message was not as severe, I am still concerned about the potential consequences.

I kindly request your assistance in finding ways to delete those messages for everyone in the group. I attempted to change my iPhone's date and time, but it was unsuccessful. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't find any results after looking it up online. I know that the iPhone 14 Pro & Max has a boot setting since it has the A16 chip and I figured that the 15 series (Pro and Non-Pro) might too since it has the A17.

I have around 800 contacts, most of them with IPhones and yet no updated contact posters still.

Most likely something is wrong with my settings, or maybe I need to call/send message first in order to receive the updated poster.

Also, if they saved my number with the name Rob and if I set my name to Robert on my phone will they see the updated name?

Is it possible to transfer data such as photos, apps, etc. to my new iPhone after set up, or must it be done during set up?

It was working last night but when I woke up and tried to save some pictures I got sent on discord it said it didn’t have access to my camera roll. I also checked Messenger, Capcut Gmail, they don’t have access either which is weird since I’ve given them access?!

I haven’t messed with anything last night and I was able to upload pictures on all of these apps last night so I don’t know why it suddenly did this, is it the update (iOS 17.0.3) or is there some other cause?

I realize this question probably gets asked every few days, but I couldn’t find an answer that really addressed what I want.

I used to use Apple’s leather case on my 13P, worked well after my silicon case got all torn up. When I got my 15PM, I bought a FineWoven case thinking it would fill the same niche. It does not, this thing is peeling and scratching all over after only a month. I want to get a new case but don’t know where to start honestly. None of the leather cases I see suggested seem to have that combo of protection and thinness. Doesn’t help that most of them have a big ugly logo on them.

Would anyone know a good case that’s reminiscent of the Apple leather cases? I’d prefer leather or carbon fiber with some protection but not a lot of bulk. Extra points if they have fun colors/no logo. Thanks!

After trying troubleshoot suggestions except Reset All Settings option, I need help with automatically reconnecting to my hotspot. I am having problems with iPhone maintaining a Wi-Fi connection which is frustrating – especially when I have limited data available on your contract and don’t want to switch to cellular (5G) in order to get a better signal.

TROUBLESHOOTED AS BELOW ① I ruled out temperament Wi-Fi is stopping iPhone from connecting to cellular whenever the Wi-Fi is weak. But anyhow I already turned off Wi-Fi Assist. ② I cannot see how my hotspot signal strength is a problem because I am carrying its iPad in my computer bag and my iPhone is in my pocket; signal strength is strong enough to maintain the connection because at least three lines in the Wi-Fi symbol are filled in. ③ forgetting’ the network details and starting over. (forgetting the network and then setting it up again often fixes problems with connecting to specific networks). ④ Settings > Ask to Join Networks: Notify. ⑤ Auto-Join Hotspot: Automatic ⑥ Settings: Reset.

1. Select the Reset Network Settings option.
2. You’ll need to enter your iPhone passcode to confirm the decision, then the device will reboot.

Hi, I recently updated to 17.1.1 and had no issues until I woke up this morning and now my phone has no sounds or haptics.

What’s odd is the way I figured this out as I was trying to watch videos and nothing would play even though the video would load. Not even my camera roll videos would play.

I figured out it was the sound and haptics issues as when I use my AirPods, everything goes back to normal, however without the AirPods, my phone won’t play any videos or sounds.

It seems like a software issue as why would the videos not playing because the speaker is blown out or broken? Wouldn’t it just play the video without any sound?

If anyone has any solutions to this, it would be great as I use my phone as my alarm and I can’t at all now because my phone has no sound working whatsoever!!!

background sounds keeps cutting out/stopping on me randomly when i’m on apps like reddit and twitter etc and it’s driving me crazy. help would be massively appreciated
