Hi! So I just spilled matcha on my mac, only in the trackpad part. Here’s what I did right after the incident:

• Wiped of the liquid in the surface
• Made sure absorb the liquid in the crevices thru a qtip

There’s also another thing I did, similar to when my phone got drenched in the water last summer, I sucked the water that might have gotten inside my phone thru the speakers. For my mac, I did the same by sucking in the crevices which led to bits of liquids coming out. I did this until liquid came out.

Right now, my trackpad works fine. Still, I feel anxious.

Is there anything more I can do?

Is there a way to do it? Or the only way is to fix the screen before?

I got my first ever apple watch last week and I got the series 9 41mm. So far it's been great, it has been found useful but I feel like I want to do something with the watch's band. I got it in midnight so every colour fits but I don't know which style I should go for. Any ideas? I don't want it to look childish or tacky. Also, do the silicone screen protector thing works, I feel like I'm about to scratch it every 2 seconds.

So the new update (10.1.1) has seemingly deleted the option to easily make your phone beep so you can find it. It looks like now you have to open the Find Devices app, wait for it to load, and go through that whole process. Please someone tell me that I’m wrong and where they were able to find the button to make my phone do a little beep.

Hello everyone!! So i use to have 2 different photos for the Lock Screen and the Home Screen wallpaper forever. I have tried 6742 ways to try to make it separate but it will not let me. Can this still be done? I loved having separate photos. Even when i choose customize Home Screen, it still switches the Lock Screen to the same photo i chose.

I use an Apple Watch 5 as my daily watch (except formal ocassions) and I really love it, but noticed that the battery health has dropped to 80% and barely lasts a whole day. I'm really impressed that it held on for so long as I bought it back in 2019 alongside with an iPhone 11 pro. Since then I got an iPhone 15 that I plan to use for at least 4 or 5 years, but I know that my Watch has 1 or 2 years of support (latest WatchOS) and my question is how many iOS versions can I update on my phone till I can not connect the 2 devices? So for the next five years if I update my phone will I be able to connect to my phone or there will be an update earlier that will not be compatible.
The reason is I don't know if I should replace the battery and use till I replace my phone or to buy a newer watch that is basically the same except for a little bigger screen and a full keyboard that may be useful once in a while.
For replacing the battery it costs 87 USD (converted) and getting a new watch is either 390 USD (SE 2022) or 590 USD (Series 9) and I don't know if it is worth the difference since there is nothing new that I would use, my only fear is that there will be a point where I can't use the 2 device connected and I will be there with a watch that does not do it's job for me and I'm uncertain if my next phone is going to be an iPhone so for 1 or 2 years I will not buy a new one. I desperately need to go through my iPhone camera roll. Is there a software for windows that allows me to plug in my iPhone and sort and delete photos from my camera roll all from the computer? I dispatch law enforcement and the default timer app on my apple watch is very useful for that. I mostly use it for status check on officers. It's nice because I can say "5 minute timer called Johnny" and I have a quick visual for how long until I should check on Johnny. Nicer still, I can have a separate timer for Susie and Jeff running at the same time too. Generally, I ask their status if we haven't talked on the radio for 5 minutes though it can be longer.

The less convenient part comes when they talk to me before the timer is over. Let's say Johnny talks to me when there's still 3 minutes left on the 5 minute timer.

Is there a way to quickly reset the timer to the full five minutes again before the timer runs out?

As far as I know, you either have to wait the full 5 minutes and then you get the reset option. Or you have to delete the timer and create a new timer with the same length and label. I like everything else about the default timer app, so I'd prefer to keep using it. But if there's a better app that lets me reset the timer at any point, that would be good to know too.

I bought a new iPhone and asked the guy to install a screen protector for me . And he said he will install this silicone screen protector.

My heart dropped when he started spraying this glue all over the screen and into the speaker .

Is this normal ? He stated its normal nothing to worry about but I wasn’t sure so i just watched him absolutely smother the phone in that glue .

I have a 2018 Macbook on its last leg (spilled coffee on the damn thing). I have a 2019 replacement coming soon, but not sure I trust this machine to fire up again (the battery is totally shot).

Yes I know how to copy files to an external hard drive BUT I will be wanting to keep the software I have (yes some of it is cracked), and therefore re-installing software is not ideal - or even an option. So...

Can I clone everything from the internal SSD to an external hard drive and THEN clone it again to the newer Mac - or is this just a Mac-to-Mac process? THANK YOU

Well, me and my family was in a car crash today. We are fine, nobody got seriously hurt, no broken bones, nothing thank god. We didnt pass out or anything, but my Apple watch instantly detected the crash and wanted to call 112 (emergency services) but we didnt need it. If we wouldve had a worse crash i think it would have saved my and my familys life today. This is why its worth the couple extra bucks for the apple tbh.
