I have recently acquired a series 0 apple watch that my brother's ex had given to him, but he does not have an Iphone so he gave it to me, I am trying to pair it to my phone but I do not have the previous owners details and cannot get them, I also cannot get it unpaired as I cannot contact the initial owner. Im hoping there may be a way around it as its such an old version of apple watch or is it gg?

This is big news. I have periodically tried it ever since it was released and not once have I gotten it to work. Until now.

I am on a Mexican vacation with my family and both of my tween kids have Apple Watches. We gave them free run of the resort but wanted to get a hold of them easily. I figured what the hell, let’s try walkie talkie again. AND BY GOLY IT WORKED on my series 7 and my wife and daughters SEs. It wasn’t perfect — especially at the beach where WiFi was spotty — but around the resort itself it worked perfectly. If we could hear it. I don’t believe there are any haptics when you get a message. But otherwise it finally worked!

The camera icon on Translate app from my parent iPhone XR is gone. What could happen?

I'm trying to figure out if there's any way to use existing Lightning accessories with the USB-C port. For example, I have a FLIR thermal camera which cost a few hundred dollars which is now incompatible since it has a built-in Lightning port.

Apple has one for $29, but I'd rather have a rigid adapter rather than a cable.

There are also a bunch of no-name options on Amazon which claim to support data, but I'm skeptical.

As anyone tried one of these?

My girlfriend doesn’t have Reddit so I am posting this on her behalf… the other day I saw her watch blinking while she was napping. Like a flashlight almost. I didn’t think anything of it (possibly related?) but today she said her watch has been leaving a burn on her arm.. maybe this is due to some sort of sensor issue? Maybe it’s malfunctioning and scanning her skin more than it should? Idk how they work.. In any case this seems like a huge issue and we will be going to the Apple Store ASAP to address it..

I’m really not impressed with the iPhone 15 pro max camera, I honestly believe that my iPhone 13 Pro Max had the better camera, I feel like every photo I take that hasn’t got the greatest of light in it just looks so fuzzy and blurry when it was never like it on my 13, anyone else feel that way with theirs? Or am I just being picky hahah

I purchased my 85 year old MIL an Apple Watch last Christmas. I hoping to purchase her a more dressy metal band this Christmas. Her watch is starlight. Does anyone know of good third party companies for such a band? I don’t win a watch yet, so I have no point of reference. TY.

I’m so annoyed with the latest Apple Watch update, I no longer have the pull down swipe menu that allowed me easy access to airplane mode, do not disturb, water lock, etc.

Anyone else feeling this?!

I don't wanna spend more than $800. I want an iPhone which is still powerful, pretty on par with the latest ones and that could last me at least 5 years. Was considering getting a refurbished one from one website I got very high feedbacks of and now I am in doubt between:

12 Pro Max: it's $620 at most with OG cable ultra charge and excellent conditions. I fear it's a little too old screen-wise and processor-wise in 2023/24.

13 Pro Max: $799 is the price I get for 256GB and excellent conditions with the cable and all. I am mostly considering this.

14: Around the same as the 13 Pro Max but it has 4K Cinematic Mode as far as I know and maybe it's better performanfe wise.

Keep in mind: I'm not touching one of these since 2010 with the 4S and I want the 120hz display, a great camera and a good battery life.

I was gonna get an expensive mfi certified Belkin one but now not sure.

On a flight connected to WiFi and I went to a chat thread of someone else who uses an iPhone and it’s only show all of my messages that were sent as text messages. So weird. It looks like it deleted everything else except the green texts

Anyone know why this is happening? Hopefully once I land and get off WiFi, my messsges will resume normal but weird.

I’m in a group chat with my wife and son. Every couple of days, I’ll learn that I didn’t receive some messages. I’ll send some messages again and start getting group messages again. Then a few days later I’ll miss some. It’s the only group chat I’m in that seems to have this issue. Any ideas what may cause it? They’re literally responding to previous messages of mine in the same group…yet I don’t receive them.

on the way. I've heard of Airalo, but I can't find a package that covers all countries for 14 days. Can someone help me?

Ever since I updated my watch to the latest OS, events disappear after the start time. They used to stay on until the end time. Is there any setting to change it back?

New inphone 15 , I cannot see my DCIM folder when i plug into my PC? i see the iphone, but no DCIM folder.
