Hey! I’m having a hard time deciding. I currently have an i5 2019 air that needs an upgrade. I’m a second year engineering student and want something that will last me at least till graduation and a bit longer (4+ years).

I’m stuck between the M2 air and M3 pro. Their does not seem to be that much difference in power from what I heard. But then I’m also considering the m3 pro. I’m a college student so I would much rather spend less, but I’m also willing to sacrifice a bit and get something better if it’s worth it. Would you say the difference in price worth it (especially since apple is giving up to 200$ gift card for the airs but not the pros this weekend).

Since Apple Watch Series 3 is no longer supported, does this pose an issue when storing and using credit cards on Apple Pay?

Hey guys, I just got the Ultra 2 as my first apple watch! Now for me it’s always been an issue of adding protection items to apple products. When I got my iPad all my friends recommended me there was no need for a screen protection and since I got the Magic Keyboard along with it I didn’t need a case as well, that worked pretty well with two years in it and still haven’t noticed any scratches in daily use yet(haven’t examined it thoroughly though). For phones, I go for the full version, case+screen, last year when I got the 14 pro max the guys working at the apple store was telling me there was no need for screen protection, as iphone 14 had a very solid screen. No more than a month I discovered three major scratches on the screen and got a screen protection film immediately.This is going to be my first Apple Watch, and I have no idea how tough is this thing. For you guys would you recommend me to get a case and screen protection on it?

hi, thinking about some comparison between Mseries cpus on Macbook. There was a table of M cpus like Apple M1 100%, Apple M2 120%, Apple M1 Pro 200% and so on. I've seen somewhere but i couldn'y find source of it. could you guys share it here if you ran into it before? TIA

hey guys so I’m having an issue in iMessages it recently started happing when I updated to iOS 17.1.1. Every time I get sent a photo the photo will disappear later on in the day in the photo section in someone’s chat where you can see all photos and then when I plug my phone in my iMessages will say indexing. Then the photo shows in the info tab but it’s annoying because why is my phone always indexing lol I’m still able to see old pictures and search for old old messages but I don’t understand why it’s indexing for. I didn’t restore anything or back up from an iCloud or get a new phone.

Moved my stuff around a lot, lost my band somewhere, needed a quick fix. Actually better than the original one.

After I updated to iOS 17 and the iMessage apps moved whenever I select an app from the menu it simply will not work. This happens sporadically and sometimes will work but more often than not I simply cannot use the iMessage apps.

My mom has an iPhone 14. She bought it October 2022. Currently the camera and flashlight only work intermittently. The .5 zoom camera will work but nothing else does. It’s up to date all the way. Shutting the phone off and restarting rarely fixes it. It will work sometimes but that’s it. If you turn the flashlight on from the Lock Screen, the button will illuminate like it’s on but the flashlight won’t turn on. Same with the camera. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I am getting a iPhone 15 Pro in white but want a plain minimalistic black case (no logos and not silicone). I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations? I only say no silicone because I have two cats and don’t want to have to clean cat hair and dust off of it every now and then. I’ve also heard bad things regarding the new Apple finewoven case so I don’t think I want that one either.

Hi folks. I have my work email setup with Microsoft InTune company portal. My Outlook app on my iPhone gets work emails super quick but I'm seeing that my Apple Watch Outlook app is always super slow and behind in getting new email (several hours behind). I have a cellular plan and other apps have no issue. Anybody else experiencing this? Thanks

Has anyone noticed you can’t scroll through video on safari by moving your finger anywhere on the screen and are forced to use the scroll bar instead ?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to buy an iPhone but I'm not sure which model I should go for. I definitely want to go for an older model (and refurbed) for the cheaper price, so I've been looking at the 11 or 12.

I also don't care too much for having the state of the art features on my phone. For reference, I'm currently using a Samsung A50, and have been doing so for years, so almost anything would be an upgrade for me. In that sense, I also don't think I'd care too much about having an OLED or LCD screen.

I basically just want a phone that can take nice pictures and isn't slow. At the same time, I do plan on using this phone for multiple years again, so I don't want to overlook anything and regret it later.

I'm also not opposed to going for one of the Pro models. I'm just not sure how big a difference there is between these four models (iPhone 11 vs. 11 Pro vs. iPhone 12 vs. 12 Pro) models are.

Does anyone have some advice for me?

Casino is out on 4k blu ray but not on iTunes? Does anyone know why this is? Very annoying as I’m trying to go all digital

I'm wondering if anyone else has run into an issue with discoloration on the iPhone 15 Pro Max? It doesn't take long for charging or any other CPU-intensive task to cause the logic board to heat up and shift the color of the device. I'm not sure how pronounced this is for other users?

Had a 13 inch MBP M1 that recently turned off and never turned back on, unfortunately no AppleCare for this product but it was babied and really never left its desk for the most part.

I'm seeing this is pretty common with plenty of posts about Logic Board Failure.

Any way to gauge how common it is?

I understand Warranty only covers these things for 1 year but it will always be incredible to me that selling products for thousands that turn out to be bricks quite quickly has no additional consumer protections.

(Already bought a new MacBook to replace and added AppleCare this go around, but still just a bit wild to me that this device is bricked without another $700 into it, and even with that $700, would only then be covered for 90 days)

I just upgraded to an iPhone 14. I just updated the software to 17.1.1 (both decided). The 12 mini seemed to be fine but after I moved the SIM card to the 14, it began having issues with it not staying on. It will turn on last a few seconds and immediately turn off. I tried a hard reset. Any other suggestions? I always move my daughter’s SIM card to my old phone so she gets a newer phone.

So just purchased the remastered Cinderella, on the preview it shows full screen 4K, however when playing the movie, no way it’s in 4K, and displays it at 4:3. Did Apple ripped me off?

Is this what I get for being cheap and not paying $40 or whatever for different band?

It catches on anything I wear. I thought about cutting it, but that would look goofy I’m sure…

I got my 14 plus last May and ever since then i did not try to update my OS.
