I bought the 13 pro when it first came out. I’ve never had a single problem until lately. The text app will crash and I will have to open and close it like 5 times to make it work. The phone has more than once gone black but Spotify was still playing. The camera is blurry for no reason. It’s so slow too.

Anyone else experienced any of this?

I bought my ATV4K like 8months ago or something like that. Recently I’ve noticed that the rightclick button on the remote tends to get stuck sometimes, forcing me to press twice to move right. The remote battery was at 70% but I recharged it too 100% anyway and it still persists, restarted the atv several times, disconnected and reconnected the remote several times, and did all these basic troubleshooting things. However the issue persists and it’s quite annoying when it gets stuck, forcing me to press twice again and again. As I said it doesn’t happen every time, but quite frequently.

Is there anything that can be done? I thought about calling the reseller and asking them if they could send me the same model of the remote, that I could pair with it. However I’ll doubt that they’ll be too excited about this idea, and would most likely ask me to return the whole atv. This is not something I would do, as I need it.

How should I proceed, and has anyone experienced the same? I really enjoyed the flawless experience so far, until this started happening few days ago 😣

My setup is Apple TV 4K 64GB (iOS 17.1), Sony Bravia XR-48A90K (latest firmware), and iPhone 14 Pro (iOS 17.1) as continuity camera. All of my recipients report hearing themselves back whilst I'm not experiencing this on my side.

Obviously, the iPhone mic picks up the sound from TV speakers. This can be fixed by using AirPods, but it's not a solution for when you would like to have a call with family members sitting next to you on the sofa, kinda the whole point of doing this in the first place. Otherwise I can simply use my iPhone instead.

Anyone else experienced this?

I pretty much just use my watch as a notification + alarm machine, and I never use widgets. So this update just basically removed the simplicity of swiping up to check the watches battery (how do you even check that now??) and is going to make it far more difficult for me to feel comfortable sleeping with it on, I move around in my sleep all the time so now I'm worried I'm going to move the crown in my sleep and open some app or something..... Not to mention it's removing the tiny joy of having an interactive watch face by spinning the crown around

Also, this is off topic but is there a way to disable apple watch controls automatically activating when you watch a youtube video or something similar? I usually use youtube to help me sleep and it's enough of a pain already to need to press it away every time I pull up a new video so it won't mess with it (Which by the way, it does all the time if I forget to click it away. That's why this update is such a huge concern for me) That was pretty much my only pet peeve with the apple watch until this update

Just got my first ever Apple TV.

I've gone through the initial setup.

When holding down the power button on the Siri remote, my TV and speaker bar correctly power off. When the whole system is on, the Siri remote correctly adjusts the volume on the speaker bar.

However when I power the whole system on, I have to pull out the original remote to power on the speaker bar.

Given everything that works, it seems all the signaling is working correctly. it's just power-on that isn't working.

Hey guys I’m reaching out for advice on an Apple Watch 9 I purchased from someone on a third party buy/sell app (OfferUp).

I charged it and eventually brought it to the Apple Store to check; Turns out it was a demo watch from Verizon…

I really was thorough in asking why it was so cheap and trying to catch any suspicious things about it, but the guy seemed so legit.

I payed a lot of money for it and don’t know what to do as I can’t get in touch with the person for a refund, and apple says they can’t do anything to set it up for use.

DOES ANYONE have a suggestion on what to do, either how to get it to work normally (this is the main hope) or who to bring it to to help, or other options?

ANYTHING HELPS please please let me know I’m desperate at this point!

Hello I have a problem with my phone. I connected it to charger and after I wanted to use it again screen was just black and nothing was working. I tried hard reset and it didnt helped, i tried use DFU mode and it didnt worked either. What the hell could happened that it just randomly decided to die and nothing works? I have the Apple Watch Ultra. I currently don’t use it in water at all. I will occasionally turn on the water mode thing in the task bar if I have to walk into the store etc and it is raining bad. My mom has mobility issues and wants to start walking in a pool a few times a week, I said I would go with her. Can I turn on the water mode thing in the task bar and have my arm/wrist under the water the whole time while we walk to track my heart rate etc (I have POTS, I have to keep track of it) without it ruining my watch. I am scared of ruining the watch. It is the most expensive thing I own and I am still paying it off in monthly payments. Is this really water proof? Like walking in a pool for an hour while my wrist is under water the whole time? Thanks in advance for calming my fears, lol.

Just like in the title. I own a MacBook Air m2, so I don’t have any usb a ports and I wanted to buy Logitech G Pro mouse. To work it needs the adapter to be plugged in. Can I use adapter usb a to usb c to make it work? I can’t find any proof that it will work for sure, so I decided to ask here, hoping that you might know.

Hi, I have a 2018 i7 MacBook Pro with 512gb, and 16gb ram. I use it for light photo/video editing, Logic Pro sometimes, and general use/school work. I am going to be starting school again soon and will be using it a lot more frequently. Is it worth it to upgrade to the m2 air with 16 gb ram, and 512 storage. In terms of performance and just general use, because I would be spending $1400 whilst already having a functioning computer. Also should I wait for the m3 possibly or will that not be coming out anytime soon?

So I my phone started giving me liquid detection messages and after a couple repluggings and cleaning the lightning port out its working again. This has been going on for the last like 2 weeks and My phone never has touched water. Should I be worried?

Have you gave it a good used to it? Or it’s like a NPC? I use it for Shazaming music and I couldn’t find a better use for it. Its good honestly.

So I bought my first iWatch 9 a couple of days ago… just getting used to it, coming from Fitbit Versa 3.

I have no issues showering in Fitbit (hot steam and all). Has anyone showered w your iWatch for awhile and no issues or is it a bad idea?

I’ve been using a 2015 MacBook Pro and am about to upgrade (finally..)

I like the M2 Mac Air Base Model pricing so I am for sure considering that. But ofc m3 pro gpu boast is worth considering (but the extra 1,000 aint it)

I’m about to start college and use apps like Logic Pro or Final Cut and thats about it. Maybe sometimes League Of Legends lol.

So what do you think I should go for? Is the base model good enough to have enough swap memory to support at least 4/5 years? Ive never had an Air..

I’ve repurchased Pulp Fiction from iTunes and it’s still only HD. Is it not supposed to be 4K? Internet sleuthing tells me it’s out on AppleTV in 4K but maybe not for Canada? Anyone know the answer?

Hi, just want your honest opinion. I'm planning to buy my first iPhone. Initially, wanted to buy the 15, but heard a lot of complains about the heating issues. Is this already fix, please let me know. Been contemplating to just alternately buy the 13 instead since I heard it's more stable and cheaper. I'm just a casual phone user, don't really care about the exclusive specs from the pro models. Just want a phone that could last a day.

I have ordered a Macbook Air M2 13" 8gb 512gb silver, and also ordered a Under Armour backpack for it. But I'm conserned that the laptop will break easily in the backpack. So my question is how strong is the macbook air m2 in physical strength? Will it break or bend easily or screen break easily in a padded laptop sleeve backpack, that is not a hard case laptop backpack? The backpack arrived to day, but macbook doesnt arrive until thursday next week, I come from big bulky windows gaming laptops, thats why the perhaps stupid questions.

Bonus question for you. Have you used apples privacy screen and is it good? Can you keep it on when you close the macbook or do you have tp take it off?

Do any AW Cellular users here use their phone call or FaceTime audio features on their Apple Watch extensively? I'm talking about scenarios where you only have the Apple Watch without the iPhone nearby. I'm wondering about call quality and whether or not it is something you could use for a longer phone call (with AirPods, of course).
