can barely see the status bar icons at the top after changing my wallpaper from deep black oled wallpapers to a white one for the first time, is this a bug or sumn? (17.1.1)

i have an iphone 12, which i’ve had since it’s came out. the battery health is at 77 percent. recently it has been turning itself off and then when it turns back on (in less than a minute) the whole battery is drained. last night it was at 28 and turned off and then it was at 10 when i turned it on. i plugged it in and it turned off again. then when it turned on (within 2 minutes) it was at 50. tonight it happens again, phone is on 48, turns off and then turns back on and is at 10%. how can i fix this?

I got Apple Watch SE during this thanksgiving. Any recommendations for case/ screen protector on Amazon.

I work in engineering side of semi trucks. Job involves crawling under the truck, standing in the engine bay etc etc. 2 of my wrist watches survived so far without any scratches on the screen. I’m legit afraid of the Apple Watch.

I debated for along time and finally went for the base model. SO GLAD I DID!!!! It runs everything I throw at it and I haven’t noticed a ram issue yet. The m2 is crazy fast as well, no need for m3. Thank you to yall who helped me!!!

Today I accidentally opened my MacBook to a higher degree than normally. Usually I open up the screen to 90-100 degrees. Today it was mir but still far away from 180 degrees. The screen did not went black or shows any sign of malfunction in general but I’m still anxious about having opened it too far lol. What’s the maximum angle and is there any mechanism to prevent you from opening it up too far?

I have an iPhone 7, and have recently experienced some problems with the camera. Since two days ago, the camera started shaking a lot whenever I try to take any type of video/picture (video, time-lapse, slow-motion, and photo, square, panorama). This not only happens on the camera app, but also on Snapchat, Instagram, etc. It also does a ticking noise whenever it starks shaking (around 500BPM).

Can anyone identify this issue and help me fix it? Thank you all so much!

I bought a new contract which doesnt show any carrier/provider name and I often think that I have no reception because of it. Can I name it somehow? Top left corner is empty and its weirding me out.

I have a cellular Apple Watch but it never works with out the iPhone nearby. Any ideas why? Kind of a waste of $5 LTE subscription each month

Purchased an older Apple Watch Sport band for a gift. Trying to figure out if there are two or three straps in the box. I don’t see a size listed on the outside of the box. Is there a way to tell with the model number or upc or anything else what is inside?

Unpopular opinion: yes.

I’m very happy so far. This refurbished 13 is practically flawless, though it was listed in merely “very good” condition on eBay. It came with a one-year warranty serviced by Allstate & has a battery health rated at 88%. I guess that’s pretty good for a two-year-old phone? The 2019 XR (64GB with cracked screen) it replaced has just 80% battery life.

As is, my XR isn’t worth much. I saw a video showing how to replace the XR’s screen for <$40, including tools. Is it worth doing so? I figure it could be worth >$200 to somebody. (Similar w/warranty are $239 on eBay.) s should I just forget about it? Should I just forget about it? If I should repair it, should I also replace the battery at the same time to increase its value? Where can I get a good quality XR battery? I’m pretty handy, but I’ve never opened an iPhone!

Hey all, was looking at getting a new machine soon. I've been trying to figure out what the best long term investment between all of these are. I am going to be going to university in the next year or so, so i'll be using the mac for school and every day purposes. The prices for these macs are as follows: M3 Pro - $2500 M2 Pro on the refurbished site - $2175 M3 - $2200. (CAD)

I would spec each to have 16 gigs of ram and 512 gigs of storage. (Obviously the M3 Pro has the 18 gigs of ram). I'm torn on if I should save money, get the refurbished m2 pro for cheaper than either of the M3 machines. Or should I spend the extra 300ish and get the M3 Pro. Or... if I don't need such a powerful laptop and get the newer cpu with slightly nicer screen but less power. (also better battery life I believe). I won't be using any super demanding apps or anything like that, most likely just using the mac for productivity like MS365 and email and browsing. What do you guys think?!

Every time the camera seems to be trying to use autofocus it just goes blurry and this is randomly starting, what could be the issue?

Since the latest tvOS 17.1, I have to hard reboot my Apple TV 4K (model A2169) every time I turn my system on. I normally power my system on with the Apple TV remote, which also turns on my Nakamichi surround system and my Sony TV. I just updated my Sony tv to the latest software update last night hoping that may fix something but it didn’t.

When I turn the system on, all of my components will come on, but the Apple TV is just a black screen. Sometimes you can hear audio but no picture. I try pressing the buttons on the remote to see if that wakes something up to no luck. If I do a hard reboot with the remote, everything works fine. But it’s getting really annoying having to do this every day lately. Any thoughts?

Is anyone else bothered by the display color on iphone15 versus the old phones? It's noticeable for white color. I upgraded from iphone 11 and I really like the cooler color temperature. I hate the warmer color in the display :(

Sorry for the aggressive title but I’m literally going insane. For some reason I got it in my head to get android installed on one of 3 devices (iPhone 7, iPhone 7+, iPad Air 2, all running some version of iOS 15.7). I know it’s stupid, but I’m bored and need a new project. I thought about Project Sandcastle, but unfortunately Checkra1n doesn’t support iOS 15 and it doesn’t seem like Project Sandcastle is compatible with Palera1n. Anyone with ideas please comment before I pull my hair out of my scalp :)
