Has anyone who has an iPhone 7 has an issue with the microphone suddenly not working? I updated my software a couple of weeks back to 15.8 and the phone is now not picking up the microphone (can’t make calls). I went to a local shop and guy said that he believes that the iOS not being supported any longer is causing this but am not sure.

I got an iPhone 14+ for $58 and free installation. They gave me a $500 gift card for in store use for buying it. What was the catch? The verizon contract is $65 a month, ten dollars cheaper if I set it on auto renewal. My current plan with StraightTalk was at $50 on my old phone so it's not much of a difference.

Apologies if this has been asked before, I searched and didn’t find anything within the last couple years. Just curious to see if anyone else has a 5g capable iPhone (12 or newer) and doesn’t use 5g? Why or why not? Personally I’ve found lte to be more reliable and have had no issues on my iPhone 14 but I live in the mountains. Verizon btw. I do wonder how much longer lte will be the standard everywhere before 5g eventually replaces it completely.

I know when the 15 first came out there were a lot of articles and reviews saying it was having battery / overheating / system freezing issues.

After upgrading IOS to 17.1.1 when using the dictation mode: there is a slight blue color, appearing for a second behind my text (as I dictate). It’s super annoying and I would like to get rid of it.

Is there any way to remove it? I couldn’t find it in the settings.

My friend has an iPhone 8 Plus, and he is still on iOS 16. In software update, there is an option to either update to the newest iOS 16 or the newest iOS 17. How is the iPhone able to update to both if only one is signed?

I was using my macbook to look at my pie recipe, and I didn’t even notice than I left it in my pie pan. I put the pie in the Oven and when I took it out I found that my macbook was stained red and the keys are extremely sticky. Nothing turns on and the screen is also really red. Is there any way to fix this???

I have been ttc for several years. I have also been wearing my Apple Watch that tracks cycles for a couple years. It’s generally pretty accurate. I was just wondering, if my watch tells me, “period expected to start within 5 days”, does that mean I’m for sure not pregnant? I kind of feel down every month when I get that notification.

I always get notifications and it's getting annoying.

So this new UI is kinda neat but I’m annoyed that now I can’t use two of my regular watch faces as they were originally intended. I use the Lunar and Solar Dial faces and you used to be able to scroll through the moon fazes or with the Solar Dial see what time sunrise/sunset is. Now I can’t seem to figure out how to do that because using the scroll wheel just pops up widgets. Which if I’m honest I have never used across any of my Apple devices. Am I missing something or is that just not a thing now with the new UI?

Hi. I just got AppleCare+ plan for my iPhone 15 pro max and wanted to confirm something. If I damage the screen of the back glass of the phone, will it be replaced by Apple free of cost? I was told by Apple rep that I would only have to pay the service fee plus tax.

Is this correct? Has anyone ever used their AppleCare+ plan in Canada for such reason?
