Seems a lot of people complain about the Apple TV remote, I don’t see why. I have an LG C-1 and it controls the volume and all settings. Honestly best remote I’ve ever had.

Super bummed this app is no longer supported. Was one of my favorites.

From a full charge at about 10pm at night I’d wake up at 85-90% at 5am the next morning. Today from 100% I woke up with 40% at about 7am. Doesn’t last the whole day (no activity) it was fine with 17.1.1. Watch is on WatchOS 10.1.1

I’ve recently moved over from Spotify, and am still favouriting lots of music. Is there a way to easily favourite a song without going to the 3dot menu, scrolling down and selecting favourite? Spotify had a heart on screen that was a one press action. Apple Music appears to be missing this type of feature.

Are the uSB-c, Dynamic island and 48mp main camera enough reasons to pay extra for a phone is which similar to iPhone14.

This is for anyone thinking on getting the new Apple Watch and wondering what’s the battery life like.

I’ve had my watch (GPS) for over a week now and it requires a charge every 1.5 days or so but I just charge it first thing every morning(I wake up at 5am to workout before work on weekdays). This past weekend I pushed it to over 2 days with 20% left as I didn’t use any of the workout features.

I have Always On feature turned off as I personally don’t like it and it battery seems to love it!

Curious others opinions on their favourite colour? And why?

Torn as I typically go black watches, but something about clean aluminum colour looks sleek.

I bought a brand new iPhone 14 Pro Max. Finally upgraded from a 10 XS Max. I want to take care of it which includes the battery. Does it put more strain on the battery using a higher watt charger say 20 watt compared to say 5 watt?

I know I’m late to the party but this is impressing me way more than it should.

Please try it if you haven’t already. I assumed for months that my tv and amp were too old or simply not compatible. Set-up was a breeze.

Apple refuses to separate sound controls. Alarms, texts, system sounds, screenshot noises, camera shutter, call ringer are all attached.

Why can’t I turn off screenshot noises without risking missed calls, wtf why is this even a connected concern??

Being an Apple sheep since iPhone 3G, I can't believe I have only now discovered AppleTV.

If I had used it sooner, I could have saved at least 200 days worth of life navigating through Android TV lag.

My top 3 Pros/Cons in the first week of AppleTV 4k:

Pros:

1. Seamless experience of scrolling through different platforms. No lag. Gave new life to my 3 year old 65 inch Sony 4K TV.
2. Picture is crisper compared to Android. Visually, this is what I've experienced. I don't know if it's got to do with their processing or it's just a placebo?
3. No more shi*ty remote that breaks easily or goes missing. Can use my iPhone too. Go ahead and destroy/hide the TV remote for the 10th time, kids...Jokes on you!!

Cons:

1. I did not buy it sooner
2. Apple ads failed to convince me to buy it sooner.
3. Minor depression from the realisation fact that I lost ~200 days of life from AndroidTV lag

Do not make the same mistake as me. Do yourself a favour and get an AppleTV.

Hello all! I am getting ready to purchase a new watch form my wife. Now I personally don’t own one I don’t really see the value or point of them since the phones in my pocket anyways. But she loves them.

She currently has a I watch 3 gps and cell service that unfortunately has broken, and customer service is terrible in getting fixed. So my only option is to buy a new one.

But with now 3 different models I can’t tell what the difference is.

Im thinking the SE 44mm is pretty similar to what she has. Is the only true difference between SE and 9 is that the 9 face is always on??

I bought an iPhone to go along with my Mac (which I enjoy) but I do not understand why iPhones are so hyped. I like the iPhone camera and the synergy between my Mac and iPhone, but iOS is lacking...

My list can get very long, but I'm only going to list issues that I find unacceptable in 2023:

- Some apps aren't optimised. Example: The Gmail & Apple mail app icons show me the number of all unread emails that exist in my inbox rather than the number of unread emails since last open.

- Customisation: It's no surprise that iOS is restrictive, but I can't even choose where to put apps on a page. I want to move apps to one side so that they're easier to click but this isn't possible.

- Privacy: Apple is on your case, they wants to know what you do on every application and if you care about privacy, you will be spending a lot of time disabling tracking features.

- Modifying text: If you want to change a letter in a word, you need to press on the word until a magnifying class appears then you need to move the magnifying glass to the letter you want to change. You're unable to click into a word to change a letter.

- Maps & Navigation: If you use a maps app like Google maps while driving, you need to hope that you don't get a call otherwise the call screen will be displayed instead of maps and you need to manually re-open maps to see where you're going.

I don't know what to say... Using an iPhone makes me feel like I'm back in 2014.

How do I select a specific card for a specific purchase? I want to get YouTube Music premium, but I don’t want to use the same card that’s paying for my other things. How would I do that? I apologize if the answer is obvious. I am not very savvy with this stuff.

Has anyone experienced not being able to turn there camera off while on FaceTime? Any ideas? And before you ask, yes I’m fully updated. And I bought my phone in the British vergin islands.

This is specific to me but I got to share:

I bought a third party MagSafe wallet/stand for my iPhone 13 mini right when it came out. I really wanted to use this phone naked but the MagSafe wallet has given me a feature I never knew I needed. I’m sure it wasn’t intentional but the magnet is so strong on this thing I can stick my phone to any metal surface. I got so used to this over the last year that for me it’s the best functional smartphone update in recent memory. Places I use this: Stick my phone to the extractor fan when I’m cooking. While the fan is on it’s good to have it near my head while the fan is loud. Stick to the washing machine when I’m taking a shit/shower or otherwise anywhere in the bathroom. Stick to my car while dealing with my dog leash. Stick it to the fridge when I’m breezing around the kitchen. I was repairing a metal table and instead of leaving the phone on the floor I could just stick to one of the table legs while I was on my back working.

Like I said this could be very specific to my tastes and lifestyle but the possibility of sticking my phone to any metal surface is a feature that I am now very much used to.

Is there a way to downgrade to iOS 17 from iOS 17.0.3 I just updated and I hate the new features.

I was at dinner last night and took some photos of the food, as well as a photo of the check at the end of the night. None of the photos saved to my camera roll, they just aren't on my phone anywhere. Checked all the albums, recently deleted etc... just nothing.

Has anyone seen this before? I definitely haven't! The camera app was behaving completely normally too, no lagging or problems, I even recall seeing the food photo thumbnail in the bottom left of the camera app while taking more photos.

How can I enable 5G on my iPhone 15 Pro? I’ve already turned it on, but the device still indicates a 3G connection. Any troubleshooting suggestions?

I bought an Apple Watch back in 2017. Series 3 best buy refurbished for a good price.

At first, I used it tons. Not really any fancy feature but was my daily cary and just used it to “track” my fitness (i exercise everyday).

A couple of years ago, I moved countries and accidentally left it back in my parent’s house.

I then spent about a year without it and honestly didn’t even noticed lol. While I used it daily to “track” my fitness, I honestly didn’t do anything with those stats, never ever looked at health app or whatever else.

A year later, I went back home for holidays and got my apple watch back and tried using it for a few weeks but eventually stopped using it and now it’s sitting on my nightstand full of dust and no battery for the past year.

My big question is, why do you actually use the apple watch? For an average and very active guy I thought it was perfect for me but in reality I find it useless. And yes I have everything apple, not a fanboy but a programmer that likes easy to use hassle free tech. Sure, some things are “nice” like apple pay and music app but you can honestly do all of that with your phone. Not worth the price plus and an extra device to charge.

Pd: i understand if you are a runner or triathlete and want to track your pace and heart rate zone but for everyone else what the point?
