When I go to my photos, and select search on the bottom far right of the screen, I see “Moments” at the top with a series of categories such as “one year ago” “fall” and “trips” and each category has a collection of photo thumbnails associated with them. I click on the “one year ago” collection and instead of opening the photo collection, it puts the name “one year ago” in the search bar, and of course nothing comes up. It’s annoying. Anyone else have this issue?

So I have a rather big movie catalogue on my iTunes account, is there a way to access the extra contents on the Apple TV app on a smart tv? I can access them perfectly on my phone, iPad and laptop

I’ve got the Apple Watch Series 8 with the latest update, earlier today I was looking at the Spotify app on the watch when all of a sudden a random animation played. It looked like a horizon of light with some light particles going into the light (or maybe away from it I can’t fully remember). I was wondering if anyone had the same thing and what it meant. But I don’t think it’s related to Spotify since nothing happened when the animation played

The recent dock sharing post surprised me because of how many people had the Phone app in the dock.

I personally open it maybe once a month if I have to call a number I don’t have in my phone and if I call anyone I know it’s just through the Messages app since it’s all right there on the contact. Because of this I haven’t had the phone app on my dock for years.

Am I generally alone in this or were non Phone app users just not very present in that thread?

Like, will it overheat quickly and last for a shorter period of time without the fan?

Ever since I’ve gotten this 11PM I’ve disliked the huge size of it, plus it’s got a cracked back now and scratches on the screen. Other than that it’s been a good working phone.

Just logged into the bell app and they’re offering 70GB of data a month instead of the 10GB I have now and a brand new 14 for the same price as I’m paying now ($80 a month). It will be shipped in the next 3-6 days it says.

Pretty excited to have a new iPhone that’s a normal size again. How do you guys like your iPhone 14? Will I be satisfied with the upgrade?

I recently ran into an issue where if my phone ran out of battery, when I recharged it it wouldn't pick up a cell signal. For reference, I have an iPhone 13 Pro with destroyed back glass and visible water damage on the back. My phone isn't in great shape but the screen is unscathed and the phone works mostly fine. Anyway, I was left without service for a week until I found this solution, so I'm posting this in case anyone else finds themselves mysteriously without cell service after recharging their phone. What you have to do is let the battery run out again. Once the phone is dead, remove the sim card and boot the phone. Once on the lock screen check if you get an SOS signal. If not, let the phone die and try again. If you do, put your SIM card back in and you should have normal cell service. This took me a few tries and the problem can resurface if you let your phone die, but this is the easy solution.

Recently I bought an Sonos Arc, Sub and 2x Era 100. Happy overall, but seem to be getting stereo output on specific apps. Passthrough and all settings are correct, but it seems to me that serveral apps on the Apple Tv 4k do not support dolby output.

Plex, Prime, Netflix work fine with different Dolby outputs. But YouTube and Spotify do output default videos/sound as stereo pcm, while ALL native LG apps play in non stereo.

My setup: LG OLED C9 eArc enabled, passthrough enabled Apple TV 4k 2022 on HDMI 2.1 cable Sonos connected to the eArc port of the LG tv.

I’ve tried loads of reddit/Google tips and tricks, but I feel like it’s an Apple tv thing.

Does anyone get non stereo output with Spotify with this setup?

Or even “cheap”. For me, those very thin clear cases and I love clear cases. Those ultra thin ones esp with glitter reminds me of those cheap android phone with such cases that is popular in Asia.

so recently I scrolled on online shopping apps for Apple products and I found Apple Watch SE 3rd generation (2023) even tho it looks identical to the 2nd generation (2022) so I am curious about it. I just purchased it yesterday because they were almost the same price (only less 22 US dollars). may I know if anyone knows the difference and also is it true that SE 3rd is basically just the same product with SE 2nd?

I just use my Macbook for photos, Excel, Word and internet, so bot a full on power userz. Debating between an M1 and M2. If one gets an M1, does that mean one will be unable to update the OS sooner than with an M2 model (by like one or two years)?

Is anyone else’s iPhone laggy after the most recent IOS 17.1.1 update?

I use an Apple Watch to track my runs. It is getting colder were I live and the watch is now dying after about 60 minutes outside. I have an Apple Watch 6 with 86% battery health. I’m wondering if upgrading to a newer model would solve this problem or does anyone have tips for keeping the watch from getting too cold?

How do I migrate data from iPhone 12 Pro (iOS 17.1.1) to iPhone X (16.7.2). I took an iCloud back up on the iPhone 12 Pro (iOS) but I am not able to choose that back up to restore since iPhone X cannot be upgraded to iOS 17.1.1. What alternatives do I have e.g. restore through PC, third party app etc.? I primarily want to copy over the iOS / text messages. Thanks!

Does anyone know if it is possible to downgrade a beta release of tv os to a public release of tv OS I’ve tried everything including factory resetting the device and unenrolling from beta updates and checking for updates again and I’ve gotten nowhere Apple told me the only way to get it back is to just wait for a new public update and update then does anybody know if their is a work around I’m legitimately going crazy trying to figure it out

I have an iPhone 15. Looking for something way cheaper and durable than the FineWoven. I really wanted one of those leather with find my. But ugh, I got my iPhone 15 just a month ago and my old iPhone wasn’t compatible.

I was wondering if this anyone knows the answer to my question. I was out with my wife when she got share password notification on her phone then her phone shut off. Within two minutes I got the same notification and mine also shut off. 5 minutes later phones came back on but the notification came back then disappeared before I could read what it said. So I am just very confused and was wondering if anyone knew what it could be.

Why would the suggested app folder show things like Instagram and photos app at certain times. Like 9pm ish or 4pm ish.

How does the suggested app folder choose apps.

I'm curious about why these show up on my wife's. Does saving memes or screenshoting open or use the photos app. Can the photos app be used to cheat?

New to Apple Watch, I turned off the sleep schedule for the weekend, since I didn’t want a wake up alarm, but realized it didn’t tack my sleep.

Do I have to setup a bed time and wake up time to track my sleep? Can I just press a button when I go to bed and get up to start and stop tracking my sleep?

Hello guys, I am switching to iPhone for my new phone and wanted to ask your opinion. Currently there is the iPhone 15 for 849 Euro on sale. My current phone is the Samsung Galaxy A50. Would you say the increase of 350 Euro for the iPhone 15 Pro (1199 Euro, not on sale) would still be worth it if I don't necessarily care for 120hz, as I come from 60hz, and the camera specs?

So I just got the otterbox FRE case. Most of the reviews say the screen and camera cover easily scratch. Is there any type of film I can purchase to put over the screen and camera covers that wouldn’t mess with function?

Recently I bought my boyfriend a gift that I’ll be giving him for Xmas! Which is the Apple Watch SE 2nd gen (2023) He still has his iPhone 8 from years ago, that still works perfectly fine! I was wondering if a newer kind of watch would have issues connecting to an iPhone 8? I would like to know?!
