I use them quite a bit to clean up and centralize apps that are similar. Examples, are games or streaming services. My wife can’t stand them. How does everyone feel about them?

I've switched from Android to apple and gotten a new iPhone and MacBook from the Apple store, id like to set them up in the Apple store and create an apple account, but I'm slightly worried about the public WIFI, is it safe to setup/create an account on public WIFI with the risk of hackers getting my information?

My 2yo took my wife’s phone and played with it. He must have turned off cellular (and WiFi?) because it can’t be located using Find My. Advice? (The call is coming from inside the house!)

On the lock screen I put so that WhatsApp only shows when it is unlocked but when I receive a notification the profile picture of the person and the name appears, is it possible that only WhatsApp notification appears?

Hello! Need help before I throw the phone out the window! I have an iPhoneX. One of my kids was whining I hadn’t replied to their imessage but I hadn’t got it. Also realised it wasn’t sending iMessages. (Messages are appearing on my iPad so they’re being sent and received). Done all the usual things such as turn off and on etc etc. operating system is up to date. I’ve checked all Wifi connection and mobile data. All fine. In Settings when I go through Messages it says the email and phone number I can send/receive messages from and it says “waiting for activation” but just keeps spinning and spinning with no response. It was working fine and phone hasn’t got wet or been damaged. Just no idea?! Hope this makes sense! Please help a frustrated mother out before she screams very loudly!!!! Thank you x

I didn’t even know there was a microphone there, for context, when I try to record a voice message on iMessage, the microphone that it records from is near the front facing camera and not near the charger.

Is there some reason for that and can people change it?

I am trying to play a 4k video file from my laptop to MrMC via SMB connection. Because of the quality/size of the file, there is a lot of buffering. If I were to connect the AppleTV to my laptop using ethernet, would the stream be better?

I cannot find an ATV app that has Xmas Trees, Snowy Scenes or general Winter Wonderland Photos. I have a good generic fireplace app and a good tropical beach App, but I cannot find an app that conveys Xmas at all. Any recommendations? TIA

Anyone having problems with the continue watching in the TV app.

Lately I've been watching Discovery content in max and all of a sudden the TV app says they're not on max, but only in Discovery Plus. Also I don't have Discovery Plus anymore and have disconnected it from the TV app.

Heading down to the US this week and thinking of picking up a new iPhone as it looks like its cheaper even with the exchange.

I know the US ones are eSim only and I can convert my SIM to eSim no problem. Is there anything else to concern myself with?

I’m looking at getting a new case for my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Currently, I have a FineWoven case, but it’s starting to fall apart (fraying on one of the front edges), and I’m very disappointed with the case and Apple’s support.

I liked Apple’s leather cases on my previous iPhones, and have used both the OtterBox Defender and Commuter in the past, but worry those will be too bulky for an already large phone.

I’m curious what others recommend for cases that are fairly thin but still provide some protection (similar to the leather cases Apple used to make)?

I have an old 2014 Macbook Pro, but it become very slow, and I need a new one. I ordered the Macbook Pro 14 M2 Pro, I got it for $1599, and it went out of stock right away. However, I'm thinking about returning it and getting instead the Macbook Air 15 M2 for $1249; it is a less powerful computer than the Macbook Pro. My current device use is minimal because I no longer use it for school or work. I use it for browsing, email, and watching videos. What device should I get?

I can see it in some cases, but I've been warned away from using any case, even the ones Apple partners with and sells direct through their shops... I need something, my m3 will be traveling quite a bit, but I also want the system to last several years. I understand that the case needs to come off from time to time to prevent debris from getting tapped under the protective layer, that's fine. I'm not looking to protect it from drops so much as scratches and general environmental contact - would drand skin be better?

I mainly use streaming apps on my tv by connecting the MacBook to USB-C and HDMI to my tv. But I'm considering getting an Apple TV. I'm curious what everyone's opinions are on connecting MacBook to USB-C and HDMI to TV versus using an Apple TV?

I'm looking for the cheapest location to buy a new Apple TV. Cost Co had one for $99 but they're sold out. Best after that is $129. Any tips would be very much appreciated!

Anyone remember the rockband game on the app stores yearsssss ago? That shit was so much fun. Me an my buddy used to play all the songs together. Disappointed they got rid of it.

I purchased a grey sheath for my 15 Pro Max, and it came defective.

I emailed customer service about this and they agreed to replace it on November 1st. It has now been 26 days, and I haven’t received a replacement. I have been mislead to believe it would be shipped “this week”, then in “three days” and finally in “five to seven days”. Each time, they failed to ship the replacement.

Instead of replacing my order, they have been shipping new orders and not mine. I don’t think I’ve ever dealt with such poor customer service in my life. It shouldn’t take a month for a company to make their mistake right, or at least be honest about it. I’ve been lied to for the last month.

I will never reorder a case from Caudabe again. If I knew what I know now, I would’ve never supported this company.

I just wanted to get the general consensus if it's even worth buying?

This just started happening. I don’t want my ATV remote to turn my tv on and off and it’s been changing inputs to the Apple TV as well if I hit a button. Idk if it was an update or what.

Can’t tell you how long I’ve been waiting for this to be added and how other streaming devices can easily do this, but you can now control tv speaker volume via HDMI CEC, which means you can control your tv speaker volume. Before you could only control TV speaker volume with IR, so wouldn’t work for iPhone. And if you wanted to control your tv volume via iPhone, you had to have a sound bar connected via HDMI to do so. Was really annoying that I couldn’t control tv speaker volume on my other TVs that didn’t have sound bars, like my bedroom, kitchen, office etc. Should work for any tv with CEC I’d think but maybe not. All my Sony TVs are within 2 years old and do.

Hey everyone I am looking for the BEST fake iPhone, Most realistic in both the outside and software, even the loading screen should have the Apple logo. For if you're wondering, I want to review the phone and people spend alot of money trying to find realistic fakes but I would like to just buy it once and have it at a reasonable price to compare how realistic these fakes are getting. I believe there is one in a old phone box with the number pad to get it through customs and inside is a realistic iPhone box for about $220 if I can get that I will be satisfied. I want a iPhone 14 Pro Max or iPhone 15 Pro Max, anyone would do, send the link to it or send a way to contact you about it.
