Sorry if this is a lame question, but is there a way to disable or uninstall Apple's Music app on an iPhone 7 (running IOS 12.something). I use the 'phone as a backup for alarms and stuff, yet many times I discover the Music app is running by itself.

I switched from an android this weekend and woke up late to work having misunderstood the alarms.

So I just want to be able to have my phone set to vibrate 90% with a working alarm. I set my alarm and on android you can set the volume independently, so I assumed setting a tone means it would play, but it didn’t. I slept super late past.

Is there a fix for this or maybe an app that can override the volume setting? I can’t be remembering to blast my volume every night before going to bed. Or is the answer to just get a separate alarm?

My uncle bought a used iPhone 7 as a second phone. Battery was replaced (device was a refurbished one). Its been a week or two since and he says that device is turning off randomly.

According to what he said; It turns off inside and outside, so it is not about cold weather. It turns off when making a call. Whole backside of the phone is heating up and not just a specific area.

My iPhone 12 Pro Max has this weird issue which I need to plug the cable into the iPhone and then plug the charger into the socket… if I do the opposite it doesnt start charging… I notice this issue after upgrading to iOS 17 and I tested with several different charges and the same happens when I try to connect to my macbook

In short, nothing happens if I plug the cable into the iPhone first..

Has anyone seen this?

Our internet went out yesterday (MetroNet) for the first time in a long time. Oddly when I turned off WiFi and had full/strong signal on 5G, some things still wouldn’t work. Reddit, specifically, but also some other apps I use for financial services.

If/when WiFi works but the underlying internet is unreachable, does something else change on my phone that would prevent cellular data services from functioning at 100%? Some DNS issue, etc?

Hey everyone I was wondering if you could give me some advice. I’m a student currently about to finish my bachelors and move onto medical school. I’ve had a MacBook Air 2015 that died last week. I’ve been looking for options to replace it and I was wondering if it would be better to buy the 2020 air with more ram and SSD or the 2022 entry model M2. More than anything I want durability and efficiency not sure what would make the most sense Thanks

Hey all, I used to buy TV shows on Black Friday when they would offer entire shows (all seasons) at deep discounts. I can't find ANTYHING like that anymore, not for the holidays or just a random sale. Is there no way to find this anymore? Used to be easy and common when the store was in iTunes. I honestly hate the Apple TV Store interface. :( :( :(

Made 6 custom ringtones on my computer, all variants of the same song. Converted them to m4r's and tried transferring from Mac to iPhone like normal. 4 of them transferred fine, but 2 won't transfer no matter what. These 2 are the same format, bitrate, etc as the rest, and are 35 seconds each (the others were 37 seconds), so I have no idea why they won't transfer. I have plenty of storage on the phone. Any thoughts?

Earlier I accidentally bought a year’s worth subscription from the AI art dream app that cost 69.99 with free 3 day trial. I immediately canceled the subscription. I don’t know if I got charged or not.

I have just got an iPhone 15 to replace my iPhone 13. I have transferred all apps and settings across from my 13 so I basically have the same phone twice.

How can I make my iPhone 15 feel new while keeping all apps and layouts?

A relatively new apple watch user here. I always switch on Theatre mode at night, and I’m afraid if there is any emergency (such as fainting or hard fall) my watch will not activate emergency services.

Yet again, the glitch of Apple Watches returns, no matter the primary source, A.W & Health are never in sync, sometimes up to 3,000 steps in difference. Indeed, eight years down the line, this should be a thing of the past.

The only fix is to delete previous Health data and Apple Watch fully. Let's see how long it lasts now (least I still have all my claimed awards)

I recently slipped over with my iPhone 12 in my back pocket I also happened to have my keys in the same pocket. As I fell over my entire body weight fell on my phone and the keys pierced the back of the phone pushing through and cracking the front glass. The phone works the screen still works same with Face ID and all the cameras. The only thing that doesn’t work. My Friend used to have a phone repair shop. He’s replaced the front and back glass and all the inner parts seem to be perfectly fine. However it won’t connect to any networks what so every no Cellular No Wi-Fi no Bluetooth. He thinks it’s the logic board inside could it be anything simpler or is it gonna cost me a bomb?

Hello. I have Apple watch Ultra 2 and when watch is fully charged my charger is still warm on touch. When charging iPhone this is not the case. Is this normal beacuse it is wireless charger or what? Hope someone will answer me.

just got my 15 Pro couple of days ago. It's my first iPhone after using an android for 7 years.

Does anyone know if I can create a shortcut where if I press it once it goes to silent but still vibrates, if I press it the second time it goes to silent and it doesn't vibrate. And if I press it once more the vibration and the sound goes back on?

If I buy the Apple Watch 8 (S/M), I can easily switch it out to a (M/L) band, right? They just don’t include both bands anymore, right?

Tenho vindo a deparar com este problema. E depois de muitas tentativas falhadas encontrei a solução.Trata-se de um problema na configuração da lingua no Iphone e não no apple watch, pois se tentarem ditar uma mensagem usando o iphone, irão encontrar o mesmo problema.

Para o resolver: no iphone vão a "Definições, Teclado, Teclados, removam o teclado que têm em Portugues (Portugal) e adicionem o de ingles e depois acrescentei o do Português (Brasil) e à partida ficará funcional novamente. Aviso que o problema está no Português de Portugal que infelizmente não funciona.

Espero ter conseguido ajudar, já que quase não existe a solução por aí sobre este assunto.

I use an iPhone 13 Pro and ever since I got the new update a few days ago, my phone doesn’t let me take .5 photos anymore, only 1mm-5mm. Is anyone else having this problem? I’ve gotten a message that says my camera may not be a real apple part (even though I bought this phone from an apple store) so maybe it’s related to that. Does anyone have any advice or explanation?

Just got a new watch and the battery seems to be great, probably not worth updating yet as I heard some people have problems..

I wear my Apple Watch every day and every night. I mainly use it to track my heart rate, O2, and my step count.

Sometimes it gets a bit uncomfortable. Also - it prevents me from wearing “classic” watches when I want to dress up.

I was considering switching out for a whoop but I prefer to keep the watch since I trust its measurements more.

Does anyone think Apple will ever come out with something like a Whoop band?

I know there are 100s of posts about this but I’ve used some of the recommended cases and still manage to break my phone.

The issue I am dealing with is that most rugged cases do not have protection for the camera lenses. I recently purchased the iPhone 14/otterbox defender and have needed to replace the phone twice now because of breaking the small camera glass. Both times were from falling while skateboarding with my phone in my front pocket. I probably fall onto a pebble that shatters the glass.

I would appreciate some recommendation for this because I’m tired of replacing phones and wasting time/money. Thanks
