It forgets or can’t find my AirPods a LOT. I’ll start playing a podcast and it will just crash back to the “select a podcast” screen.

Other times I’ll select a podcast and it will play the wrong one. Consistently.

I want to be a “watch only, no phone” guy at least some of the time, but I listen to podcasts a lot and this isn’t helping.

Am I missing something?

Recently I traveled to Japan and had to get a SIM card. When I came back home and installed my original SIM card I was stuck on 3G and the 3G didn’t work. A few weeks later it starts working but it’s still on 3G and I randomly don’t have any internet at all.

I recently went to my SIM card supplier and checked what could be wrong and there they said they didn’t know what could be wrong so they sent in my SIM card to get checked and I got a spare one. The spare one was also stuck on 3G but it does not work.

The issue seems to be with the iPhone and when I look online I can’t seem to find any fix to this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So whenever i answer a call, it seems my airpods pro 2nd gen disconnects from my iphone for about 30 seconds until they’re reconnected. I thought it was the airpods, but after some testing with my work phone (iphone 12) and my wife’s phone (iphone 12) it seems that the problem is with my phone. Has anyone else had this problem before? I’ve tried turning off my iphone, updating it to latest software, restarting airpods, factory resetting the airpods, but none of that has worked. The disconnection only happens when i answer a call, not when i call somebody. Also, if i answer a call on Facebook Messenger, it doesn’t happen.

I’m clueless as to what to do to solve this, other than buying a new phone, which i do not have the money for right now. Any ideas?

like the title says, i got a notification an airtag was found with me, but i don’t own one. now, i do walk a dog with an airtag on his collar, but find my says the airtag was first seen with me at 9:51am today (when i was still at home asleep), & i wasn’t with the dog until 11:30am.

i’ve tried walking around my house playing the sound, but it says the airtag is not reachable. it also shows the airtags movement is exactly my movement when walking the dog around my subdivision, which leads me to believe it is in fact the dog collar airtag, but at the same time according to find my it was seen with me way before i was with the dog. could this be some sort of glitch? could find my have gotten the time wrong?

The shortcuts when you swiped up were so handy. I’d put on the sleep mode and use the beep for my phone very often but all that’s gone with the latest update.

Is it possible to bring this function back?

I can’t believe they removed it. It was so handy.

Hi so I have placed an order for the Air M2 just wanted to ask as I have not used macs before but does it run steam ? I was hoping to try out MSFS on steam on it but it’s cool if it doesn’t run?

It might suck for handoff and be fiddly with the iphone camera etc. Shareplay is mystifying, the whole UI is cryptic.

But the audio signal processing chain is wild AF. You can blast movies, YouTube etc out of a full theater speaker setup and still simultaneously have excellent conversational quality between parties. The echo cancellation is so thoroughly complete that the other side can't even hear that your playing anything most of the time.

The iPhone itself always was pretty amazing at this but your "continuity camera" microphone is usually much further away and also Apple isn't in control of your home theater audio.

Hat's off to the engineers who worked on this undersung capability.

I got a good deal and paid $130 for an iPhone x that’s in perfectly good condition, the only thing wrong with it is the battery health is at 75% what’s the best way to go about fixing this??

Hi, Does anyone tried to tether internet from IPhone to iPad via usb adapter? I heard about you can connect iPhone (lightning->USB-A cable) to iPad(lightning->USB-A camera adapter). I saw even photos on internet and articles saying it works but they a bit old. So I wonder could someone say it still possibly works? I got IPad with broken WiFi/Bluetooth so I can’t use classic hotspot.

Yet the AWU has far better build quality and screen. Won’t scratch or break as easily. I’m relatively light on my watches but it does worry me.

Ultra has nicer screen but both go up to 2000nits so equal there.

I’m also very interested in the Apple Watch X as it’s rumoured to have more health features like possibly blood pressure monitor.

So if that’s the case I’m feeling like saving the money and getting the newer device. Sacrificing build quality. But most likely sell it in the fall and get the new Apple Watch X next year.

I have a bunch of photos on my phone that are related to each other, but are jumbled up together in the main album. I need to get them organized so that when I need pics of something all the pics of a certain item are together (not just similar ones). I don’t want to get rid of similar pictures, just be able to see all the pictures of, for example, a red coat.

Is there an app that can sort by what’s in the picture, like Google Photos does with people? I can’t find anything in the App Store but I don’t know if that’s because there isn’t anything or I’m not using the right search terms. (It’s likely it’s the search terms, I think.)

Question, I have an ATV 4K box latest gen with HDR10+ capability, I have a few movies in my iTunes library that offer HDR10+ but when I try to play them from my library it only plays in HDR10, The Thing digital copy for example, if I play it from watch now or continue watching in the ATV+ header it displays in HDR10+, anyone know why that happens?

I put my iPhone 15 in a DJI gimbal. The gimbal has quite a tight grip. After a while I noticed that I put the grip over the buttons, which means that the tight grip was pushing on the buttons the whole time. Keep in mind my phone has a silicone case on.

Do you think this would cause damage to the buttons? Short term or long term damage

I’m assuming it probably isn’t the phone itself, since this started with 17.1.1. Anyone having this issue frequently?

I'm having experiences where my phone won't ping/ring when I get text messages even if it's set on ringer, and the volume is high. If I then increase/decrease the ringer volume with the side buttons, messages begin being notified with sound.

Another problem I'm having recently is being unable to swipe right/left on the bottom home bar to swap between open apps. It used to work properly before, but now it needs some playing with for it to begin working again.

Was there a software update that is causing these bugs?

With Apple TV, do you get apps like Twitch and YouTube? Do livestreams work well? The most common apps I use are Twitch and YouTube but also Max, Netflix, Crunchyroll and Amazon Video.

To all SE Users i am Kind of new to the Apple Watch And i wanted to buy one for Christmas. Now I am sceptical of the battery life and how long it needs to charge I was and it’s missing features in comparison to the newer watches, now I was thinking about buying an Apple Watch Series 8 because it is in kind of the same price category and has more features but I am not able to find one that guarantees that it is waterproof because most refurbished websites don’t offer a guaranteed waterproof watch. No, I am wondering if some of you guys could just share me your information of how you like your Apple Watch SE and how it impacted your life and maybe know where to get a series 8 :D thanks!

I'm looking to buy a 3rd gen 4K tv, but am not sure if I should buy the Thread/Ethernet version or not...I don't need the storage or Ethernet port, and have a bunch of HomePod Minis in the house which I believe would handle the Thread radio stuff. And yet...it's only a $20 difference, so I find myself leaning toward getting the 128GB model "just in case."

Any good arguments for or against getting the Thread version?

I've used several watches in my life, including smartbands and WearOS watches also (Huawei, Samsung, etc...). But, the Apple Watch is the best of them all - even though I must make an honorable mention to Huawei's sensors - they're really accurate.

However, the Apple Watch just does the overall thing (tracking, sleep stages, app on the iPhone) a little better. One question I do have is, on the Galaxy Watch it would recognize I was sleeping somehow, especially when I took naps - of course, Samsung being Samsung, it was a hit or miss, it would track 2 times out of 5, so you get the idea...

Do you guys know anything about Apple wanting to implement a 'nap feature' on the watch anytime soon? That would be cool and would count on the 'sleeping hours' of the day. 😁

Hey all, everyone in the office with an iphone just had their phone freeze and need to be restarted. Black screen without the side button working. We all had to do the volume button side button restart. We're all on 17.1.1 but different iphones.

Not sure if everyone is dealing with this?

My Apple Watch has not had any battery for about 2 days as I had no opportunity to charge it. I then lost my Apple Watch. (Someone might have stolen it idk). At a place where I had no internet connection etc.

My watch has no cellular, just GPS (it’s an Apple Watch SE). I can’t track it obviously. But the most important question is. Can I protect it’s data? Contacts, emails, credit cards etc. (My Apple Watch is locked when not on my wrist.)

I followed the steps that mark my Apple Watch as „lost“ via „find my“. The request is yet pending, it says. I also got a mail that the cards were blocked from the watch.

If I decide later on to erase my device from within „find my“ app, will this work ? I don’t know how apples technology works behind the scenes. What happens when the watch is not connected to a phone or network and someone might get access etc.

Could someone elaborate a bit, so I don’t have to worry so much anymore? Thank you
