I have had the Series 8 for about 6 months now. The first few months the heart rate monitor worked just fine while working out, now i have long chunks of time where it cannot read my heart rate during workouts. Knowing my cardio heart rate times is really important to me so this has been frustrating. I can have up to 75% of the workout with the heart rate monitor spinning and not recording my heart rate.

Anyone else have this issue and know how to solve it?

I have my band tightened and the watch is updated.

My camera front and back along with the flashlight randomly stopped working. I don't know what to do and I have also reset the system setting as well.

Is there any fix to this? Thank you in advance.

Hey Does anyone actually believe Apple’s V02 max?

I thought V02 max tests are conducted in a medical facility like a lab or hospital by a doctor, cardiologist, or fitness specialist? And you have an oxygen mask on?

Granted, I am a bit overweight, however I walk 2 miles a day at 20 minutes a mile. Body pump twice a week and pilates twice a week. The more exercise I do, the lower it gets.

At my heaviest, walking under a mile would get me so out of breath and my V02 was higher.

I’ve lost 6.5 stone in just over a year and I have got fitter and, I’m also not as fat as I was.

Anyone else noticed this?

I will workout 45 min with an outdoor walk and end the workout but then it will say I only walked for 15 minutes. Why is this happening??? I tried turning it off turning it back on. Repairing it and it still didn’t work. Tried to go on another walk for 20 min it said I walked for 5?????? Help plz (SERIES 6)

My wife is so unhappy with the new watch IOS update 10.1.1 that she has asked me to post this for her. In the past, one could access the control panel by swiping up. Now the control panel and the SOS emergency feature are on the same button. This is a disaster. It is too easy to activate the SOS system. The watch, which was working perfectly fine before the update, now gets stuck in the SOS feature, and the only option is to power it down. Then it is extremely difficult to power back. I had to hold down the crown and the lower button for 15 seconds several times to get the watch back. I think this is the same destructive feature they did with the battery a few years ago. My wife contacted apple and they said there was nothing that could be done. Her best advice. DO NOT UPDATE the watch.

hey guys, so i just did something pretty stupid!! :D my law lectures are uploaded online and deleted after a week, but i usually keep the tab open for 2-3 weeks because i'm great at procrastinating and usually watch the lectures at a later time. my macbook just did an update and the tab was closed. when i refreshed all of the tabs, it obviously didnt take me back to the video. now i'm wondering, is there any way to get the video back? like through going through my safari cache files and looking for a html file of some sort? or is this my sign to drop out

So I have been using Apple TVs exclusively for my Televisions (that word feels outdated) for the past six or seven years but recently had to replace a cheap-o 32” panel and opted for a frame.

In the past, when the Apple TV shut down it would turn off the TV but I am having serious problems getting it to mimic this behavior. I can get it to work for a day maybe and then it reverts back to a ‘no source blue screen’ when the Apple TV turns off.

Samsung stopped just short of asking me for a DNA sample to get the Frame to turn on so is it an issue stemming from them pushing people to use the TV’s native software?

I thought about trying to program a Siri action using the Samsung iPhone app but that seems complicated

Does it seem that the screens on iPhone 15s are way more delicate than past generations?

I am new to iphone, loving it so far but I have one question, I have some videos in my windows PC that want to sent to my iphone, I tried uploading to icloud but it shows the message “Only JPEG” or “File shouldn’t exceed 100 MB”, is there some way to directly sent the video from PC to Iphone? I thought uploading the videos to google drive and then download them to the phone but i want to know if there is a quicker way

I was using Apple Watch since series 3, and upgraded every year or year and a half, now currently using series 7 and refuse to upgrade as there is nothing new. Or at least nothing new to justify the purchase exactly looking watch with the same battery life etc. Really like the look of Ultra however it’s way too big for my wrist I already tried it and it looks hideous. After upgrading to watch OS 10 I’m using the watch less and less. I don’t like the look, widgets and how to navigate it also the control centre and weather, activity, heart charts requiring MUCH more scrolling than ever. I don’t know what to do is it the best to keep waiting for new generation and decide do I want to upgrade? Or try other watches in a meanwhile like garmin, polar, whoop? I do love how it works with iPhone there is the problem mostly using as answering the calls, quick messages, skipping music and regulate the volume, helpful with notifications like camera from the garage.

So I live alone and I don't have a router. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and a Macbook Pro. I have unlimited data so whenever I use my laptop I just share my hotspot to it and it works seamlessly most of the time (sometimes it bugs out so I have to restart my phone). However, when my girlfriend came over and had to do some work for school her windows laptop wouldn't connect to my hotspot. She then tried it with her own iPhone, and then it worked briefly but then stopped. Mine sometimes just didn't show up, sometimes it did but didn't work. Then, a week after that a friend of mine that has a windows laptop and an iPhone tried doing some work at school and she couldn't get her laptop to connect to her iPhone either.

Now here's the problem. I don't ever watch television. If I want to watch a movie or a show I watch it online on my laptop, same with sports, so I never really felt the need for a TV in the traditional sense. However, it would sometimes be nice to be able to turn on a movie on a bigger screen, or play some music on it when my friends come over since I don't have a sound system. Now, my apartment is equipped with a Samsung Smart TV, but it doesn't have any TV antenna hookups at all, so without a router it's basically completely useless. However, if I had a router, I could watch Netflix, or Youtube, or literally just go online using its apps. But, whenever I try to connect it to my hotspot, it doesn't work. A friend of mine came over and tried it with his android phone and it worked. I've tried turning it on and off and all that, nothing seems to help. I thought of connecting it to my laptop and just watching stuff that way, but then I'd have to get an adapter cause it only has USB-C ports, and those adapters are kind of pricey. So basically, my question is: Does anyone have a similar experience or maybe knows a solution to the issue. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

TL;DR: I want to connect my Samsung Smart TV to my iPhone's hotspot, but it doesn't show up at all.

I tried shooting a few little ~1min clips on my 15PM in the LOG mode (internal recording), just to see how useful it might be. The footage looks lovely, but there are artefacts in the recordings that take the form of little hangups, snags, dropped-frame-like glitches, sprinkled seemingly at random through the clips. I’ve tried conforming the clips to 30fps but no dice, it’s still visible. Visible on the phone, on my PC, in a rendered output from Resolve, visible on YouTube (see link - https://youtu.be/S2PZkV28FZo )

I only shot at 30/HD, so shouldn’t be too challenging in terms of data and file writing. If I’m not doing something wrong, and this is as good as it gets, it’s pretty much useless, right?

If I buy an Apple Watch series 9 that’s 45 mm and band size M/L can I buy a band size S/M and put it in my watch or will it not fit.
