The title basically. How close (or different) do the two colors look?

Cyber Monday is on! Should I get a MacBook Air with the M2 or M1 chip? Currently I’m using Pages to write stories which will later be published to Books. While I completely understand that I can get a keyboard for my iPad I’m not a fan of that idea. The only thing I tend to use my iPad for is watching Apple TV shows, something that my older sister says her M1 MacBook Air does just fine at. Also, I’d probably be trading in my iPad Pro for the MacBook Air.

Anyone with the ultra that also experience lag when moving around apps in grid view?

Just got my first smartwatch, it’s an SE. One thing I like to do is read on AO3 before falling asleep, which I normally do on my phone, but sometimes wish the screen was smaller so there would be less light, even with a custom site skin that has black background and grey text. The Apple Watch screen with the scroll wheel and ability to adjust text size would be great for this, I think. I’ve seen there are a number of third-party web browsers for the watch in the App Store, but most can’t log in to sites, so I couldn’t use my skin. This isn’t necessarily a dealbreaker if any of them would have any kind of dark mode, even something like the iPhone’s Invert Colors which I used to use a lot because it was so convenient to have it set to flip back and forth by triple-clicking the home button.

So far I’ve downloaded Parrity (lets me log in on the iPhone app but doesn’t transfer to the watch) and μBrowser and tried the native browser too; for each of them, it’s a little clunky navigating to the page you want, but doable, and once you’re on the webpage it’s very readable. Back navigation would be a nice bonus, but mostly I just don’t want to be stuck with black text on white background. Several 3rd-party apps seem scammy based on reviews. iCab doesn’t, I might try that next, but .

I’m also sad iBooks won’t let me read on the watch either, and only does podcasts. Downloading ebooks or PDFs, if dark mode could be applied, would be a great alternative to reading straight from the webpage. It looks like an app called Wear Reader used to do this, but hasn’t been updated in 6 years and according to reviews, stopped working. An app called Reader for Watch on the other hand is very new and still has some kinks to be worked out.

Listening to an app that would read a webpage or ebook to me is probably an option that’s out there, but honestly I might as well just use my phone for that, it doesn’t meaningfully take advantage of the small screen the watch has to offer.

It’s possible I’m just missing a setting somewhere that would be helpful, so any advice is appreciated (though ‘just go to sleep’ advice might be appreciated less. :P)

Hello! I've found this two offers and not sure what would be the better choice for me.

I was initially searching for a used iPhone mini in good conditions for around 250 euros, but most of them have a maximum of ~85%, which maybe in one year from now may get to ~75% and will be very bad to use, but then I encountered this offer of a basically brand new iPhone 12 mini (the box was only opened) for 380 euros (unlocked), which comes with charger and a few cases. I don't know if it is a fair price or not and if a cheaper used iPhone for 300 euros or less with 128gb would be better. I also download a lot of music on Spotify and I don't know if 64gb will be a headache in the long run.

Any thoughts? What do you guys think it's the best option? Thanks

Hi guys! I am visiting Dallas in the next month and I am thinking of taking advantage of the opportunity and gift myself a new iPhone, since they are much cheaper there than in my home country. I read somewhere that in Texas we (tourists) could get the tax back somehow. Can anyone confirm that and explain me how can I take advantage of this? Thanks in advance!

I don’t use do not disturb and tried to remove it but I can’t. Any way to have only the sleep button (bed icon) in control center just like in the old watchOS.

I work Lumber/Building Materials at a Lowes so Im always getting covered in concrete dust/sand/etc., rough materials, always getting dings and stuff on my hands and arms. Dont wanna break the watch, any recommendations? Looked at other posts and people seem to be pretty anti-case which makes sense since most people don't have a job like this.

Hi guys!

I'm studying Graphic Design and I'm using a Lenovo Legion (Ryzen 5 4600 + RTX 2060) at the moment.

Often I get people saying that Macbooks are the best machine for Design and almost everyone including teachers use it.

I found a Macbook Pro 13" with i5 10th Gen from 2020 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD version for 600€ (refurbished).

Is it a good deal or should I wait and get a M1 (8gb/256gb)?

Got a series 7 on the latest watch OS.

I don’t have a photo of this full screen alert/takeover, but a comparable notification type would be the birthday celebration that overlays the watch face, animates, then returns to your standard watch screen.

Earlier when standing up (maybe coincidence) my watch started vibrating and the screen had a takeover which I can only describe as space/star like. Imagine a dark vignette with a bright star like centre animating.

Once this animation had played, watch returned to its normal face (modular).

Never seen it before and I’ve had an Apple Watch for years. There are no notifications relating to whatever happened, and I don’t have any new watch apps, or any others I could relate it to.

Totally curious as to what it was all about, and how it was triggered.

Someone help me solve the mystery alert 😂

I keep trying to pair they aren’t even recognizing each other. Anyone else have that issue???

Is this normal? I did the battery limit to 80% feature and I swear in the past week or so (after falling asleep once with the phone plugged in, which I don’t like to do) I feel like my phone dies so much more quickly now? Or is this the norm? I just can’t believe it dies so fast? Should I take it to apple? It says my battery health is 100%.

Title. Been wondering about how SE3 owners feel about their choice and life with it, why did they choose it over other models, if they want to get a newer-looking iPhone by now or not, and from which iPhone they came from. It’s a phone I’ve seen very very rarely (even rarer than the minis, surprisingly) and became curious to hear the thoughts of who chose it

It needs iOS 17 to run but i didn’t installed yet (I’m afraid it will ruin my battery life lol)

Hi yall,

I just upgraded my ip 11 to ip 15. I didn’t do lots of research because i thought ip 15 would be amazing, but the camera (especially the front camera) of the 15 is HORRIBLE. I am a girl and i use my phone mainly for social media and pictures, but this phone doesn’t serve me :( Should i downgrade to ip 14? Or keep the 15?

I have mixed feelings because i know ip 15 should have the most up-to-date features but its camera sucks!!

Ever since the new update the keyboard/suggestions seem a little different is there a way to revert?

I'm really disappointed with Iphone 15 PRO camera. It's horrible. The color, shades, I can't explain how bad it is...

Att has deal for iPhone SE 2022 currently. Is it worth upgrading from an iPhone 2020 to 2022 or should I go bigger to the 14?

My partner has recently sounded AW curious for the first time recently. Her main motivation seems to be fitness functions. She gone through 3 Fitbits over the last few years, and they have all been cheap pieces of crap that died prematurely.
My main question is how does an SE stack up compared to and AW7/8/9? We are both in our mid 60s and I got my first AW a couple of years ago for health reasons because I’m kind of a wreck. She on the other hand is relatively healthy and maybe is less concerned about the heart related functions that appeared to be less robust on the SE. i’m assuming that once she got to watch she would use it for more than just fitness, but it’s hard to say. She is a Pokémon Go fiend though, and walks the dog every night with a phone in each hand. And when at home adds an iPad to the mix, lol. Would a watch add anything to her Pokémon experience? While she’s relatively tech savvy for someone our age, she’s never been one to need the latest and greatest device. When she bought her iPhone 14 last summer, that was probably the first time she’s ever had a current generation phone.

Halp. I have 11k photos I want to upload to the cloud and delete off of my phone. I’ve googled many articles & can’t seem to figure it out. I don’t want to download an app to help. I don’t have a computer. I just want an easy upload my “recent pics” to the cloud and delete them from my 64g iPhone 11.

I’m unable to make it work except by sharing my screen. Does anyone know whether it can work from within the Audible app?

While sleeping, even with different bands my watch will lock. Then in turn the alarm goes off on my phone and not vibrate the watch. This morning it was locked, but it showed the alarm going off, I was able to dismiss it, and then it showed me all my notifications I missed through the night. I’ve tried different bands to see if one was more loose than another and it hasn’t made a difference. Any suggestions?
