So I‘m currently paying 4,99€ for Spotify (university discount). I got an offer to pay 5,99€ for Apple Music + Apple TV+, which is obviously a really good deal that I‘ll probably just take tomorrow. Basically 1€ for Apple TV+. Music is more important to me tho so I wanted to ask wether I would lose anything remarkable right now that Spotify has but Apple doesn‘t? Afaik Apple Music even has better audio quality. What are your experiences?

I wanna keep my 7 till 2026 but the new update is making it unusable 15.7 I’m going to try changing the battery but will it loose 4G connection soon?

Today I got my phone stolen. Thanks to some contacts of a friend I know it is now in the black market of my city (I know exactly in which store). However, they of course did everything for it to be untraceable. They changed the IMEI of my phone. I want to know, if I'm gonna rebuy that phone from them, will I have any issue because of the changed IMEI ? For exemple the phone being black listed, connectivity issues, issues with new os versions, etc.

(It would be much cheaper to rebuy from the black market than a new one)

I'm living in a country where it is useless to call the police to have some help and where this people don't risk nothing going this.

Not sure why, but the search dictation no longer spells out what I want it to search.

It will type it out, but when I click the Siri button on the remote it doesn’t spell it out like it used to.

Anyone else have this issue?

First it cannot make call to VOIP phones nor receive calls from them; tried using other iPhones and had same issues (no issue with Android phones). Tried support from phone company and they were no help. Second it cannot discover some wi-fi networks that are seen on another phone. Third when charging with USB-C cable in the car it keeps showing charging and then not charging. Any help would be appreciated.

My wife and I are getting our two kids (9 and 7) Apple Watches for Christmas. We want to be able to track their locations and give them us and them the ability to call or text when needed. I’m wondering if there are any security settings/apps/functions etc. that I should enable or disable? I appreciate any insight!

I have the IPhone 13 Pro Max. I got it pre order so I’ve had it almost since release date. Since a couple months after I got it my Face ID hasn’t worked. It just stopped working one day. It would tell me go “lower” over and over and then “higher.” And then go blurry. Just today I downloaded the newest update and it allowed me to set it up automatically after the update but still didn’t work. I ended up resetting it and trying again in the settings only to have the same problems. Wtf

Ik it’s a nice feature to enhance the photo and most people want their acne and blemishes blurred but what should I do if I want to take a high-resolution close-up picture of my face acne and pores because I’m about to try different treatments and want to asses difference between before and after better? I tried shooting in RAW but it still auto-edited. The thing is I would shoot the photo and quickly click on it in the camera app and see it with all the details I want for a couple seconds until it gets auto-edited and the pores become more blended with the skin.

My sibling is looking for a super budget iPhone, does anyone have any idea what their best bet would be with that budget?

I know I was wearing it earlier today, but the band must have popped off sometimes at work.
Unfortunately, it does not have service and I barely used wifi for it... So I am at a loss for how I can possibly find it, when it isn't showing up in FindMy.
I'm thinking *maybe* there's some service that will let me add the watch via IMEI, just maybe, and then I can ping it... But even if it is found somewhere, that doesn't mean I'll be able to get it back from whoever found it ...
I know visible lets you add a watch onto a plan you already have for an additional $5/mo, but I'm not sure that will work here without me having the watch present...
Is there anything I can do, or any specific carriers that could add a watch by IMEI - without spending $100 or something?

A contact in my phone changed their contact profile picture from being the default letters to actually having a profile picture. This is the only contact in my phone who has done this, and the lack of uniformity bothers me. I want to hide or disable seeing the profile pictures of my contacts. How do I do this?

One of by biggest pet peeves with the new tap to wake always on screen recognition of the last few gens is that even when you lock the device it can still recognize and react to touch input while it’s locking.

If I’m listening to music and click the power button to lock my screen when I’m on the Lock Screen I’ll usually immediately put my phone in my pocket as I tap the button. The issue with this is that when my fingers touch the screen when putting it away it will oftentimes change the song even though I’ve already “locked it”. You can try it yourself and get the same result by clicking the power button and then tapping a music control as the screen dims.

I know this is a very first world problem but it happens probably at least once or twice a day and it’s pretty annoying to suddenly have my music change or audiobook skip. Am I alone in this and just “using it wrong” ™ ?

I hope someone can help. This seems like a pretty common situation, so I don’t know why I can’t figure out a good solution.

I work for a small business and we don’t have a marketing department. We all kind of share posting on social media. I’ve taken the reins on instagram because I know it best.

Well some things on instagram are mobile-only, and so far I’ve just been avoiding them. I don’t want to add my work’s insta account alongside all my others in the phone app because I don’t want them sharing info and I’d have to delete one anyway, since I have the max of personal accounts already.

ChatGPT told me I could set up family sharing, but I don’t know if that’s what I need, and the phone didn’t let me click on it anyway.

Then I thought, how cool would it be if I could have a separate phone profile for all my work stuff?! I could keep my calendar, email, and contacts separate, etc. like it’s two phones in one! But I can’t figure out how to do that either. Is there a way? Google says no.

Or circling back around, is there a simple way to make my work computer think it’s a phone so I can just use the instagram app on that?

What am I missing? Why is this so complex? What do social media people do to keep work and home apps separate? Just have two phones? That seems pretty annoying.

Hi, i somehow managed to get WhatsApp chats and its media to iPhone. I had WhatsApp clone(2nd sim) which didn't support moving when i transferred normal WhatsApp via Move to iOS app, so I don't know if move to iOS app supports WhatsApp business or not. Incase if it does, ill have to erase my iPhone just for this. Can someone please confirm if WhatsApp business transfer works? Also any other alternate means to get this done without shelling out for third party apps?
