When I set the frame rate to 50 Hz on my Apple TV 4K 2022 device, there are no issues, but when I switch it to 60 Hz, I experience stuttering, lag, and a drop in FPS, especially with sports and football content, such as YouTube football match highlights. TV Model: SAMSUNG 4K UE43RU7100UXTK HDMI: Ugreen 8K Ultra HD HDMI 2.1

When I bump up the brightness on a portrait mode photo in my photo app, it looks great. If I then text it to someone it reverts back to darker. Even if I'm viewing the brightened photo and screenshot it, the screenshot is darker. If I duplicate the photo, the duplicate is brightened. But if I screenshot the duplicate, the screenshot is darker. What is happening? Is my screen brightness somehow bumping up when viewing the photo or are my edits getting stripped off when I screenshot somehow?

I normally use my speaker phone or earbuds when I make calls, but all the sudden yesterday I noticed the volume on my ear speaker is really low. Not sure when this started.

I can have a conversation with it, but it takes some careful listening. I had a couple other people compare it against their phones and the difference is noticeable.

*The volume is all the way up using the volume buttons

*I tried turning off Noise Cancellation

*I rebooted

*I turned off / on Bluetooth, Wifi, and Airplane mode

*Currently on iOS 17.1

I am planning to hand me down this phone to my dad when my 15 PM comes in tomorrow and want to get this repaired or figured out before I do so. Phone is in mint condition otherwise so this kind of bummed me out when I realized it.

I called Best Buy (don’t live close to an Apple Store) and their over the phone estimate was $79 which seems worth it, but figured I would check here.

Any other suggestions before I do that?

I just really don’t like the new screen for calls and the removal of the iMessage toolbar from before. Can I change it back somehow

4 months ago my fan started going CRAZY from just the first seconds of watching YOUTUBE. On all browsers. Same with video calls, on Zoom and Google meet.

It doesn't happen on sites like 123movies... I don't get it!

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Can’t seem to fix this and the green messages / slow send/receive is driving me nuts.

All texts to and from my wife get sent as normal SMS (green messages). iMessage works fine with every other contact. When she switches to her laptop (MacBook pro), iMessage works. When she goes back to her phone, it reverts to SMS. So I’m thinking it’s gotta be a problem on her end. I have an iPhone 14 and she has an iPhone 12. It’s worked for many years and just stopped yesterday.

I’ve:

• Turned iMessage off and back on again on both phones
• reset network settings on both phones
• deleted the contact for one another and re-added it on both phones
• deleted conversation on both phones and started a new one *did a reset on both phones (fully turn off, wait, turn back on)

What the heck is the problem? Is there something I’m missing?

My question is, what will happen when they overlap? For example, what will happen on Saturdays at 08:40 or at 9 am for example? Or which mode will prevail on mondays in the morning?

I looked this up and couldn't find anything relevant or couldn't understand it.

Why is it you can find some films you want elsewhere but you can not find it on Apple TV

I think there should be a section where you can see all 4K movies that are new or updated should be. It would be good to see what is new or upcoming.

Most of the time I try using the ‘time to ‘ workouts it NEVER logs or tracks them. What’s the bloody point of it?

I purchased a Iphone 14 Plus in May this year and now when I have it on the lowest brightness setting it shows a very very very little green dot that's unoticeable to some people, but for me it is, and it is very annoying, especially at night time when I am forced to use the lowest setting, I have attached a picture with the maximum brightness level this dot appears Thank you!

hi! Does anyone else have this issue on iOS17? I have the 15PM and it has the latest update.

When I get a call and it goes on the Dynamic Island, if I want to put it on speaker, a dropdown menu appears, where the only options are iPhone and Speaker (which is useless because why else would I be clicking on speaker if no other device is connected).

It’s annoying and I wanted to know if it’s somehow only happening to me

It almost seems like it does this already. When you scroll through photos, when you first land on a photo there is a split second where it seems to be the flatter version until it shows you the processed version. I want this flatter version. Anyone know how?

I’ve been using an Apple TV 4K connected to my LG C8 Oled, which is connected to a Sonos Beam via Arc, for about 2 years. It’s been great, until recently when the sound and picture are out of sync. Nothing has changed with my setup or hardware. It seemed to happen about the time TVOS 17 was released. It’s really distracting and annoying.

Are there any known issues or fixes I can try?

Everything still works but I noticed just now when I plug my USB-C to lighting cord into my fast charger I’m not hearing that slight click when I plug it in. It still works just a small detail I noticed. What could be the problem or the cause?

Today I got an iPhone 14 Pro Max and I am using my old iPhones charger (XS) to charge it. The battery is holding really well but it's taking a long time to charge. It took about 15 minutes to charge from 87% to 88% (Using while charging). I turned off optimized charging but it didn't help.

Saw this question posed on a tech site as phones are getting longer and longer support from manufacturers, which is great for consumers regardless of brand preference.

Having said that, one of Apple’s strengths is and has been their longtime support of their devices so it’s an interesting question to pose for r/iphone: how old is your phone?

Hey, I have what seems to be a simple question. I want to keep all my notifications on mute, except for timer, alarm and phonecalls. How can I achieve it? I tried to manage it via focus and turning off sound of notifications in iPhone settings, but it does not do the trick. Does any of you use watch in this way? How did you achieve it? I have iOS 10.

TLDR; I want to hear only sound from phone, timer and alarm notifications on AW. All others need to be completely mute, 24/7. Thanks!

Does anyone know how to disable the FaceTime pop ups? I have clicked disconnect as well as skip this step many times and it keeps appearing on my phone every few minutes whenever my Apple TV 4K is powered on.

This is highly annoying and I can’t seem to find a solution. Anyone else having this issue?
