When I bump up the brightness on a portrait mode photo in my photo app, it looks great. If I then text it to someone it reverts back to darker. Even if I'm viewing the brightened photo and screenshot it, the screenshot is darker. If I duplicate the photo, the duplicate is brightened. But if I screenshot the duplicate, the screenshot is darker. What is happening? Is my screen brightness somehow bumping up when viewing the photo or are my edits getting stripped off when I screenshot somehow?

I begin: get rid of MagSafe. Nobody even uses it. Use the Apple logo on the back for fingerprint, the apple leaf maybe for a pulse scanner or something. Get rid of the notch, do the Camera Hole like samsung. Put the mute lever on the right side, above the Power button. Idk why this bothers me so much, but it just does.

On the software side, I don‘t think it needs much improvement, since the software is the main reason I use iPhone. I‘d love to hear your Ideas, or maybe tell me, why my Hardware suggestions wouldn‘t work or if you like the Ideas

I was just wondering if the back camera of the iphone 15 plus is realistic because when i take photos of myself using the back camera it makes my face look really wide?

I recently upgraded my Apple Watch 8 to 10.1 and now the Blood Oxygen complication is not showing on any watch face

Any idea how to fix this?

My battery life has been great on 10.1 Just wanted to share this to show it’s not for everyone and I would say that with a new watch you should update! Mine is the Ultra 2

I last charged on Friday 17:18 and now it’s Sunday 21:18

52 hours and I still have 25% I didn’t use low power mode! And I wore it nonstop for everyday use, workout and sleep tracking!

I will charge now cause I want to use it in the gym tomorrow but the update definitely has improved my battery life!!

My wife is considering a cellular Apple Watch and I’m looking to get an idea of how much mobile data people typically see being used per month. We currently have an AT&T 5GB shared data plan, 3 - 4GB of which will be spent with our combined phones per month.

I understand that this is all highly dependent on individual use cases but I’m just looking to get a sense of the overall average.

Anyone notice their 15 pro max heating up quite a bit while it’s charging wirelessly? Just picked it up off the charger and it’s was a little too hot to hold. It cooled off pretty quick, but still!

Not really sure what it's called but that grey rectangle that the bottom 4 home apps sit in drives me nuts, is there a way to make it disappear or at least transparent instead of blurry? Thank you

Hey guys, I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max. I used it for a month and the battery status went down to 99, even though I don't play games, don't use the camera much, and don't use my iPhone while it's charging. what is the reason? Has any of you encountered such a problem?

I got a MacBook Pro M1 Pro 14” Base Model, and I accidentally spilled some water on it in Friday.

Initially the “q“ “y” “u” “i” “o” “p” “h” “j” “k” “l” “;” and “a” button all not working, but now after a night with the lid opened, all keys except the ”q” is working all fine.

I just sent it to Apple for a in-depth checkup and waiting for the result, and Apple quoted me of $907 for a complete top case in case the keyboard need to be replaced after the checkup, should I pay that and replace it? (its too expensive…?) Thanks guys!

My friend opened the home app, got this message, closed the app and turned off his phone and now it is stuck like this and no buttons work on the screen or on the side of the phone. Siri responds.

I had three since I noticed them (a 4S [original battery] and two 6 Pluses' second genuine batteries from 5/1/2018) yesterday. :O

I’ve tried resetting my watch face to see if it fixes it but nothing. Ever since the update a few days ago the heart rate at the bottom that would show what it was in the last X mins isn’t showing up anymore.

Anyone had this happen?

So, I just got my first Apple Watch (Series 9) and it's my first day with it. I realized I already took 200 steps without getting out of bed. It's tracking my hand movement during my self abuse as steps.

Other than removing the watch, is there a solution to this? Does the watch learn with time what is a real walk/step and what is me jerking off?

This will mess up my step goals.

How’s come when someone asks for help and or “what’s that” when they really don’t know, why do you downvote? Again, it’s a genuine question and I’d like to understand why.

I’ve had my XR for 3 yrs now and it’s definitely time to upgrade. I watched videos on how the 13 pro has similar capabilities as the 15 pro. So does it make sense to go for the cheaper phone & save money? Or should I go all out for the pro and not have to worry abt upgrading for a while? I also like the idea of 120 hz (13 pro) over 60 (13).

For context: I’m an 18 y/o who’s saving for a car & looking into college, and stepping into adulthood. I don’t think spending a ton on a phone is necessary, but I also want something to last. Suggestions and opinions would be great!

I stood up at 12am, 1am, 2am and then for another minute once the clocks went back to 2am again yet it didn't count the second time. Then I stood up between 10pm-11pm and it put an hour in the 11pm-12am slot instead...? It’s no big deal as I still reached my Stand Goal but it’s just weird and interesting…

So long story short, I bought a macbook from a friend, it was stolen and after a few months of sherlock Holmes and Watson I was able to retrieve it recently. Bad news is that it was on activation lock when i got it back and that I had that apple ID so long I dont think i ever changed the password so I dont remember it. Phone number was old as well. There was an option to use the device password that was used to sign in to the macbook, that i remember cause i use it on my pc and other laptop but It gave me an error and said I can no longer use the device password because it was entered wrong too many times. I guess they were trying to get in and failed. Anyway I contact apple support and they directed me to fill out the removal request which requires proof of ownership. I ask my friend and he sends me the email he got after he ordered it from Costco. The only thing is with costco, it only shows the order number and an item number on the receipt. Friend also said its been so long(2020) that the order wasnt even on his Costco account anymore. So I just attached what he sent to me and sent it to Apple a couple days ago. On the form it asked for store address, name number etc but it was an online order to i just typed "online". Will that be sufficient?

I’ve been an iPhone user since the beginning, but I can honestly say I’ve never seen this. I’ve had my 15 PM since release day, and just looked over on my coffee table and it was doing this.

No drops, no bumps, and in an Apple silicone case. No cracks, scratches, or other screen issues.

I’ve tried power cycling, even though it’s clearly hardware.

Any idea what this is? I don’t live near an Apple Store, and the “service” at my local Best Buy has never been super helpful with broken screens in the past. I have Apple Care — any ideas on how to get this solved as quickly (and as Inexpensively) as possible?

Is there any way or setting to get the volume of all apps to the same level? There is definitely a difference in volume between some apps and I would like to avoid adjusting the volume each time. 😅
