What’s the current best iPhone I can get bang for buck?

Also how good is buying refurbished / used? Any recommendations on where to purchase from?

My friend has 12 Pro and he can call someone while on another call and merge the calls. My phone (IPhone 11 Pro), I can call someone whilst on a call but I can’t merge them, and I can only go back and forth with each calls. Is it not available on 11 Pro or something wrong with my phone?

My first iPhone was the iPhone 6. I had androids before this and decided to go with iPhone because I just wanted one.

Hi i am trying to change to healthier more organized lifestyle. I would like to get a smartwatch mainly for fitness purposes, and i do not know if apple watch is worth it for me. My budget allows me to only go for a used s5/s6. Or a brand new Amazfit model.

I do not recieve a lot of notifications, i am not in a call very often so making a phone call from the watch is negligible. Maybe the only useful feature i would regularly use is being able to pay with my watch.

Those who switched from to 3rd party to apple watches, was it worth it? In what way apple watch is more useful? What features does 3rd party miss?

I have pants that often create static electricity so I was wondering if keeping my iphone in the pockets of those pants would possibly hurt my iphone in any way.

In my case its a S23 Ultra not an ipad pro.

I did some research and it locks like this is nomral on Iphone, but i cant understand why no one is talking about it.

The only way to force a 120hz is by screen recording, Airplay or Carplay.

Is there a way to fix this? I am not hating on iphone i whant to use the 15 pro but with 90hz its just not as smoth as my s23

I have an iPhone 13 and just the other day I updated it to iOS 17.1. After the update was installed I briefly got a message saying something like SIM card not found”. I’ve never seen this before, so it was strange but it quickly went away so I forgot about it. Hours later, the message returns but this time doesn’t go away. I go online and see that I should try taking the SIM card out of my phone and putting it back in, so I do that. Doing so fixes the problem.

That was a couple days ago, now I get the same message again but this time removing the SIM card and reinserting it does not fix the error. It still says there’s no SIM card detected. I’ve had this iPhone for a little bit over a year and have had zero problems with it before. Now, out of no where after updating to iOS 17.1 it randomly has problems. I haven’t even opened or messed with the SIM card tray since I initially got this phone over an entire year ago. What do I do now?

The error isn’t going away even after I turn my phone all the way off and remove the SIM card. Please advise, thank you.

I have zero interest in MLS or seeing Sport channels in Apple TV, anybody know how do I hide this stuff? ie hide these menus:

Just curious as I’m doing a little shopping for my phone as it’s about a week from being shipped finally. What am I missing?

Hello, all my fellow Apple Watch users!

Some of you might’ve noticed in the 10.1 OS update some of you like me have probably been experiencing an enormous battery drain .

Upon a lot of research, I noticed on the apple discussion boards. A few people mentioned removing the Moby face app as well as anything that was not native to the watch.

I am here to tell you that after that I am getting immediate results !

I’ve been off charger for about an hour now and I’m still at 96% . I haven’t experienced any sort of battery drain. I’ve also noticed removing the app from my phone helped out too.

I can’t answer if it’s specifically the Moby app or not but definitely removing that as well as any non-native apps from the watch helped !

I’m definitely hoping a patch soon because I would like to use the other apps , however, it’s good to know that my battery isn’t gonna be damaged now!

I am using an Apple Watch 2nd gen. with an iPhone 8

Ever since WatchOS 10 came out, my Apple Watch has been having a hard time checking for updates. Originally, I thought my watch was having issues because my iPhone 8 isn’t able to update to iOS 17, but then my Apple Watch got a small update to WatchOS 9 days after WatchOS 10 came out, which was weird (the update checker just magically worked that time, and my watch Is supposed to get WatchOS 10)

When I try to check for WatchOS updates on my phone, it says I need to update my phone before updating my watch even if there are no iOS updates available yet for my phone.

After that small WatchOS 9 update, my Apple Watch has been consistently failing at checking for updates.

I want to upgrade to WatchOS 10, but I can’t. I am also worried that my brand new Apple Watch SE 2nd gen is a lemon. What’s causing this problem, and how do I fix it?

Is my band too tight?

Just got my new AW 7 Stainless last week and was wondering if its normal to charge it to 100% at night before bed, and wake up at 83% of battery? Should I keep or return this?

I usually charge mine twice a day for 20-30 minutes every morning before going to work, during shower and at night when I shower again. Is my charging routine okay? Will this not drain the watch battery fast?

I downloaded it and I like it a lot! There is a lot going on in the app which is exactly what I was looking for. The only issue I have with it is when I put the complication in the sub-dials, it doesn’t give me the High/Low for the day, Only the current temp. The outter complications aren’t any better. That one gives me the High/Low but doesn’t give me the current temp. So I settled with the sub-dial. May or may not get Premium…🤷‍♂️

So for about two-three months i havent been able to use my watch because it wont turn on. Ive used multiple outlets and multiple apple watch chargers (the official ones that come with when you buy a watch).

All the watch does is show the apple logo here and there, might show the green lightning bolt, however, when left for an hour, two, or a few, even a day, when removed it wont turn on. Even while charging it wont turn on. And in every case, when i pick up the watch, it seems to have overheated.

Is there a fix? It is literally not even a year old….

Does the SE 2nd Gen do this?

I’m also using an 9yo iPhone 7 which got its battery replaced 7mos ago. I charge it every day because of heavy YouTube usage. It is still on 100% capacity

My SE3, I use for Reddit, Twitter and bank apps only but it was the first on to have its capacity dip before my IP7.

Any thoughts my SE friends?

Just as my title says. I can’t figure this out. It’s too quiet to wake me and is becoming an issue lol. It goes off and makes noise but it’s very quiet. I don’t like sleeping with my phone on loud so I figured it was because I had my phone on silent the first time it happened but I’ve slept with my phone on loud for the last several nights and I’ve set alarms for a few minutes past the current time with the volume on loud and they go off so quietly. My typing this post is more loud than the volume my alarms go off at. Does anyone else have this problem and are there any solutions?

Just wondering if any of you guys have any experience with buying refurbished iPhones in Australia specifically, I was looking at a 13pm on back market but I’ve seen very mixed reviews on them, wondering if there’s any better alternatives.
