Please help me Which one should I get? as a girl, I won't really use heavy softwares but I play some games. which one is better overall? also do I have to worry about breaking in half for Z flip?

I went to the Apple store and touched the new iphones and they were all BOILING HOT! This was definitely a concern, but I promised I would give my mom my old 8 Plus (which I adored), so I had to take action. After touching all the black/blue phones in the store, I surmised that "the white seemed less hot" so I bought one at Best Buy and hoped for the best. A couple days in and the results are not good. I mean, is the phone good, sure, and the camera is great, but I just dont think potentially hurting my body is worth it. I now have a tingly / burning / pins and needles-y feeling in my hand every day since! To be fair, this would happen with my 8 plus from time to time, but it would be mostly when I was my phone over 5 hours a day or texting a ton. I have not even been using it as much as usual but the buzzing in my hand (mostly my palm) has me super freaked out. The buzzing stays in my hand even for hours after usage (sleeping, so it doesn't go away) and has me very concerned/worried/writing this at 6:40 am. I will also note that I am sensitive, and I try wireless ear buds and I get a headache after, so I know not everyone feels things to my extreme. I did however read an article that iphone may be UNDER reporting RF radiation levels and that the levels are most likely double of what has been reported, and the levels of iphones are already significantly more than other manufacturers. Anyway before I rabbit hole too far into that, I am also worried about more practical matters. I am a longtime Mac user and am stuck (now) with what iphone can I even get. Years of apps, notes, etc. Do I go back in time to an older iphone or is there an iphone that doesn't emit as hot/RF/whatever the hell is happening with a lesser camera, like a 14 Plus or something? I feel trapped between new and old tech, or am I just doomed to stop using iphones altogether. As I have been reading, Samsung and other phones have significantly less RF levels but the learning curve will suck. I am both confused, freaked out and scared. Is this happening to anyone else? Is there an iphone with less invasive physical effects? If so, please enlighten me.

I just wanted to share my personal experience when going from a Watch 7 alluminium to a Ultra 2.

I did not have any issues with a regular Watch in terms of battery life since I do not monitor sleep with my Watch. I usually ended my day with 40% battery and put the Watch on charge at night. But wow, its a big difference. Now i charge my Watch to 80% and after two days its around 30-40%, so it should go for 3 days with a full charge no problem. Great to be more flexible around charging!

I also notice the screen is much easier to see in the sun of course because of the 3000 nits display.

Its small things, but the battery life is the most important thing for me, its a game changer. All in all very happy with my switch. It took a little while to get used to the added size and weight going from a 41 mm 7.

Has anyone gotten the Ghost clear case from Dbrand? I wanna get one but would love some reviews first!

I have used loopy for my last two phones and love them. But is Casetify good also? I wonder if I now depend on the loop too much

I have an iPhone 13 Pro. Using the Marriot/Bonvou app to try and book a hotel I get a MiTM (man in the middle) error message. I’ve tried different Wi-Fi networks in two different locations (miles apart from each other), and cellular, and the same problem. Deleted the app and reloaded, same problem. So I went to my other work phone, an iPhone 11 Pro, and the Marriott app works fine (so it’s not their servers) on any network including the two previous tried with the 13 Pro. So, it’s exclusive to the 13. Any ideas what I can try? Do I have malware or something viral on my iPhone? I’ve never seen this before with any app. Any ideas?

Hello! I would like to ask for advice... I'm considering purchasing Air M1 8GB, currently available for 949 EUR with a student discount at a local store, or waiting for a potential sale given the upcoming release of the new M3.

My Dell Vostro, which I've had since January 2021, has become slow and it is pretty heavy, and my iPad 9th Gen doesn't fully replace a laptop for my workload (no matter that it's light) with PDFs, Excel, Teams, and an online application portal and university work. iDeal is offering it for 1049 EUR on sale, down from the usual ~1200 EUR price. I'd prefer not to buy online or purchase a refurbished/used Mac, and I basically need a fast and light laptop.

Do you think the 949 EUR offer is a good deal, or should I wait? Thank you!

I bought my refurbished 14 M2 Max in August. Only thing I envy in the M3s is the inclusion of Ray Tracing. But other than that, the space black colorway is cool but I still prefer my silver. Hope the black doesn't chip easily.

I moved from Android to Iphone, and to have my photos with me I used google photos, with backup and sync feature turned on and as expected I can see all of my Android photos I backed up to google.

But I can't see the google images in iphone's photos app, only in google photos app.

Also, there seems to be only a one way sync, photos taken on the camera appear both on apple's photos and google photos, but:

• If I delete the photo from the apple photos, it still appears on google photos.
• If I delete the photos from google photos, it deletes it from both iphone's photos and google photos, this is what I expected to happen but in both directions.
• If I edit an image on iphone's gallery, it replaces the old image, but in google photos I'll have both the image before and after the edit, because of the one way sync.

Anyone here has experience working with google photos on iphone? Ideally I would like them to sync both ways, I want to work with iphone's gallery while having seamless backup to google in addition to icloud, but currently it seems impossible because of the one way sync, it's ironically only possible if I use google photos as my main gallery.

11 days ago I bought a new mac, was quite sure this is the right machine for me. Shortly after they announced the Apple event. Now that we now the stats:

Would you return the MBP 14“ 12 core cpu + 19 core gpu with 16gb ram and 1tb ssd bought for 2650€

for a m3 pro with 11 core cpu / 14 core gpu / 18gb ram / 512 gb for 2499€

For what I see I get 2 gb more ram but 1 core less cpu and 5 cores less gpu. I know we don’t know yet how much better the m3 is to the m2.

Would you personally return this?

I currently have no money on my card that i have set up for my payments, so it’s not allowing me to download any apps. If there anyway i could fix it? I’m just really broke at the moment and I get paid next week.

The battery on the Ultra 2 is so great compared to my old Series 7. I think I could get just shy of 3 days/72 hours of proper usage (this was including 1 hour of an outdoor walk being tracked, and 1 hour of tradtional strength workout in the workouts app) if I played my cards right. Charged to 95% on Sunday night 8:10pm, now at 6:50pm on Tuesday night and it's still got 1/3 charge left. Their 36 hours was VERY kind.

The only settings I have changed are;

• turning off detect gym equipment
• disabled some background app refresh apps (but not entirely), and
• an automation to disable "wake to raise" when I am at work.

Brightness is set to default 2/3 and I have most notifications turned off (messages is about all that come through).

I am stoked, I no longer have any battery paranoia compared to having to set my old watch to cinema mode while I was at the gym after work because I had 15% battery left.

Anyone experiencing the same? Using my old chargers on my AWU2 is terribly slow compared to the new fast chargers.

So I really like to have a lot of usefull informative complications. Just found out about the phonebattery one on here and was wondering if there are any other complications you guys use that might not be very well known.

Note, I don't really want complications to interact with but more informative ones that I can just take a glance at with usefull info. Right now I am just using phonebattery, the date, the weather and of course time.

I’ve had my iPhone 15 Pro since about 2 weeks after launch and immediately set the charging to 80% limit. It it now almost November and my phone hasn’t abided by that setting once. I have tried restart of course and multiple chargers, but to no avail. Has anyone had this issue or know of a potential solution? TIA

Is there a way to convert a couple thousand photos from DNG to JPG? Is this possible without retaining image quality or even close to it or is it too late if they are saved and backed up as RAW photos?

My screen broke. So all along while it tried to keep the phone battery charged before I could get a new screen. The numbers were automatically dialing themselves. That means that the pass code was being input by the phone itself. All because the screen was very damaged. Then when I got the new screen there is the message IPHONE UNAVAILABLE. I found out on YouTube that the phone is completely inoperable. Has to be flashed in order to be used. Now I lost all my data pictures videos everything that wasn’t backed up to a computer or my iCloud. That’s why I hate iPhone. If anyone knows ways around this please let me know. I know the screen lock password but now the phone is unavailable thanks to Apple!!

I’m making a product for a school project that is similar size and similar in materials to an Apple TV 4K. I have to research what materials I will use and what the carbon emissions are etc. This is all provided by Apple, however an expected lifespan is nowhere to be found, and I need that for my product analysis. Was wondering if there is an estimated number for this, or if it's different for everyone?

Ever since I updated to 17 my volume slider bounces back to the original volume. It’s really annoying and a huge nuisance. Is there a way to stop it from doing that?

Using the quick drop down menu I was used to quick slide down and now I have to do it very slowly to guarantee the volume is off.
