I wore my watch to sleep last night after setting my bed time and wake up time in the watch app on my phone, woke up eager to check the stats but didn’t see any info in the sleep part of my health app (on my iPhone)

Can someone please explain this to me like I’m five years old? What do I need to do to get the sleep info to work?

I have a sportband but i get little rash from it. Any recommendations for someone who wears his watch during workouts?

M2 air 15-inch 16gb+512 SSD or M3 pro base(14 inch 8gb ram+512 ssd) for cs student. Will the 8gb enough for 4 yrs of b.tech? these prices were almost so there's no price point of view. I didn't see much difference(by reviews) and this is also the first time buying mac. is macbook air being without the fan going to be an issue? Overall for cs student I want to last long(not battery I know both were great so, I meant it's usability in upcoming future yrs). Is there big gap btw air and pro? I am planning on switching from Windows to Macbook. I am an advertisement student so I will be using Photoshop,Illustrator, rarely video editing tools etc. I also casually game (League of Legends and Sims) and watch stuff/write essays.

I can either get the 14 inch M3 Base model with the 16GB RAM upgrade or the 16GB RAM 512GB SSD M2 Macbook Air 15 inch. I feel like I am leaning more towards MBA.

My current laptop is a 15.6 gaming laptop (HP Pavillion 15) The screen size is just enough but carrying it is a burden since it is built like a tank.

I also have an Ipad Air 5 if that changes anything.

Shortly: 15 inch upgraded M2 Air or Base Model M3 Pro based on my usage? I need it for like atleast 5 years. Portability is really important for me but the 13 inch is way too small for my liking. M1 MBA or M2 Pro is not really an option because the prices are really similar with 2023 gen because of discounts here and there.

Recently picked up a slightly used MacBook Pro M1 13' - 8GB with 512 GB storage for 480 USD.

It has absolutely no scratches and is in mint condition. Battery cycle is 22 and purchase date is September 2021.

Only caveat is that the seller did not have the charger.

As the title states, just to know for sure. I’ve erased some pics in the past - yes, also from my ‘recently deleted pics’ - and I was wondering if there is any way to recover those pics? Is it possible to figure something out concerning a backup or so? Thanks in advance!

I have an iPhone 12 Pro. I operate heavy equipment so my phone is constantly falling from my phone mount. I have a Mous wireless charger and a Mous case but recently the phone fell and the back shattered.

I’m looking for an Otterbox or Lifeproof style case that allows wireless charging via a mounting bracket similar to Mous.

Have you seen or heard or something like this?

Hi everyone, I am just asking for some help for myself as im in a really difficult situation. Does anyone know of any free or under $5 apps I can use to make calls?

Ive tried so many already, but they only give at most 5 free minutes. I missed two phone bills and of course, my line was suspended, but they actually cancelled my entire account and I cant even get in to pay off my balance. Dont have another phone or friend to call with and I cant go in person with my living situation. Im in a really bad spot right now, just need anyones advice. T-Mobile's only answer was for me to call them which I cant.

I notice they are quite different on a daily basis. I understand active calories to be calories above your BMR but don’t know what move calories represent.

Even though I have Personal Hotspot off, data consumption shows massive data used by Personal Hotspot -> Other Device? Is it also calculating the Wifi data transfers?

When I check my provider data usage it shows nowhere near that kind of data used.

Anyone has any idea why this happens?

It takes me multiple tries to do it because the picture keeps deselecting itself, or is it a social media issue?

I have two focus modes: Personal and Work. I turn always on display off, but when I switch away from a focus mode it puts always on display ON again. I cannot see why it does this, but it's very annoying. Any way to fix?

I just need to be able to airdrop specific photos albums folder to my best friend’s phone lol. We all know it is a pain having to create a new album folder again.

Buying one as a gift but not going to give it to them for close to two months from purchase date. Is there any issue with doing that? I've heard mixed opinions online and I'm not sure.

Does anyone else feel like their cell signal has dropped significantly since the drop of the iPhone 15? Areas of town that I would consistently get 5G is now 2-3 bars of LTE. My guess is that Iphone 15 users take priority but it really seems like either the performance or the ability to access the network has changed. I have asked several co workers and friends who use Verizon in my area and they all have the same complaints. Thoughts?

I can't find any definitive information about this. I will be travelling to US in a few weeks and planning to buy a macbook pro m3. Will I be able to avail of the warranty in europe at all or it's limited to US soil?

Just bought the 14. Surfing around the internet and I found out the Iphone 15 may where a better choice. Should I return the 14 and buy the 15?

I have a little issue with my Apple Watch Ultra.

I run regularly and since winter came I grew a little sick of having my watch stuck to my arm during a workout to track my HR, because that spot gets a bit cold. To fight this, I bought myself an HR strap, and decided to cover my arm, and get my watch on top of my running jacket (so the sensor does not have contact with my skin). HR gets offloaded to strap nicely, but because my watch does not touch skin it locks itself out. Has anyone had a similar issue before? How to get my watch unlocked during a whole workout? I use the WorkOPutDoors app as well.

I'm thinking of buying an unlocked iPhone 15 Pro from Canada because it still has a sim slot, which is necessary since I travel a lot and want to have a local sim at times. I have T-Mobile in the US and live in New York. However, the Canadian iPhone is missing the mmWave 5G bands n258 (26 GHz), 260 (39 GHz), n261 (28 GHz). From what I can tell mmWave is only super fast when you are literally standing next to a tower. Would I be missing out much without them?
