Does anyone know if the streaming bitrate for purchased films/shows/atv+ is worse on devices that can access apple content Vs the Apple TV 4k?

I've got quite the library on my Nvidia shield but when I've looked at ATV4K it does seem Sharper...

So I got a brand new Iphone 15 pro.Whenever I lock the phone it disconnects from wifi and it really annoys me.When I turn it back on it takes couple of seconds to connect again.Any solutions?

In past 12 hours multiple political leaders of opposition and media heads critical of ruling dispensation have claimed and shown screenshot of messages from apple showing threat advisory, that some possible state sponsored actor/s have penetrated their device security and advises them to go into lock down mode.

Is it related to Pegasus ? Should normal people also put their devices on lockdown ?

Why isn't apple clearly stating anything?

I just got my new iPhone 15 Pro and love it so far but it's really slippery because of the rounded titanium edges. It also always slides down and falls down on every surface in my place. What is a good clear case to get that let's me see the beauty of the phone while also not being too bulky?

Apparently I only got 10minutes of deep but I feel fine and recharged. Is this normal?

How do you folks do it??

The notifications are hidden (no icons on top near the clock) inside the notifications tray. And then, the notifications from locked screen also disappear when I unlock the phone.

If I leave a message unanswered to check later, I completely forget it’s there, hidden in the notifications panel.

I’m not used to go after notifications, they usually are there waiting for me on android. And I know that by check the icons near the clock. Do you all have the habit of checking the notifications panel? How do you do it?

Please let me know?

Has Apple deliberately nerfed the M3 Pro CPU? And for what reason?

From Apple's slides starting at 10:29:

M3 = 35% faster CPU than M1; 20% faster than M2

M3 Pro = 20% faster CPU than M1 Pro; No comparison to M2 Pro was given! 🤔

M3 Max = 80% faster than M1 Max; 50% faster than M2 Max

When Apple announced the M2 Pro they claimed it was 20% faster than M1 Pro. So are we to assume M3 Pro has no performance improvement this gen?

They've reduced the number of performance cores from eight to six, and as per the OP memory bandwidth at 150GB/sec is lower than the 200GB/sec of the M1 Pro.

It seems reducing the number of performance cores in favour of efficiency cores has eliminated any overall performance uplift M3 Pro had over M2 Pro. We'll have to wait for benchmarks to be certain, but I'm sure Apple's omission of a comparison to M2 Pro is very telling.

These things already had incredible battery life, I'm not sure why Apple would choose to sacrifice performance for more battery life? The people buying these machines, myself included, are pros that need performance, and the rest of the M3 family has CPU performance improvements, so why not M3 Pro?

sometimes i swipe down on my control center to see my camera was using my location. its really random cus i never remember using the camera prior to it. is this normal?? ive never seen this happen to anyone else

Anyone else finding that when you AirPlay music to an Apple TV, it’s extremely unstable with constant crackling sounds?

Today has come the day that I have decided to sell my Apple Watch and return to traditional watches.

Bye bye the lack of interesting and truly customisable faces!!!

Bye bye having to charge the watch every an single day!!

Bye bye WatchOS 10 annoying problems!!!

Bye bye spend more than 400€ every 2 or 3 years on a device that will become obsolete!!!

I know that I left behind advantages that I will miss, but the negative aspects have been able to… who knows, maybe I will come back, but now my way is traditional watches along with activity

I bought the new iPhone 15 base model 5 days ago. I finished setting it up and updated it to the latest version iOS 17.1. Since then, I've observed a drop in refresh rate while dragging the right corner to open the control center and also while exiting apps that show in the dynamic island. When I observed this kind of behaviour, I dragged once again and this time there was no lag at all. Refresh rate usually drops when I unlock my phone and open the control center. Subsequent accesses are smooth, but only for a few minutes. When I scroll again, a slight lag can be noticed.

I don't understand this behaviour. I've traded my 12 mini and it has no above-mentioned issues and used to run smoothly. Is it just a software thing? Should I wait for the next stable update?

Has anyone seen this before? During a workout, I pressed the action button to make a new segment, which then showed -176 for total segment calories. I pressed it again to make another segment, and it then reset to zero. Has this happened to anyone else before?

I went for a short walk this morning, forgetting to put my watch on.

When I got home and looked on Health on my phone I’d done around 2100 steps.

I go to put my watch on and 2 things happen:

1. Health on my phone drops the step count to 1400 (ish)

2. My watch never syncs the steps back on to itself. It’s still sitting at 78 and the app on my phone is at 1528.

What is going on here? I thought the watch and the phone were meant to intelligently merge?

I am unable to see shows from different apps in the “up next”.

I only see Apple TV + shows there. Any idea why?

I want to order a new Iphone but I'd like to know different steps If I want to order to home or I want to pick up at store. How does it happen exactly in both cases? If I want to get it at home, Will I sign something or they leave it on the porch ( not sure about it because it is a pricey thing to leave on the porch). What If I want be at home at the time they come? Do they specify the exact time they come.

And what if I choose store pick up. Should I come and show them the confirmation number or something else? Would be very thankful is somebody explains
