Hi, I bought my Air M2 2 weeks ago. I've been leaving it charging overnight but OBC does not kick in. Two weeks have passed and nothing. I don't shutdown my mac, I just close its lid and leave it charging. What could be the cause?

I updated a day or two ago to 17.1

I am finding that when I send a text, it sometimes is not showing up in the thread, only the last text I received.

Also, someone texts me on teams and tells me that he just sent a text to my iPhone, but nothing shows up.

Waited over a month for my preorder and it finally was supposed to come today. My apartment complex doesn't have buzzers so I have no idea when the driver will come.. can't sit outside all day since I got work. I left a note for the ups driver on the main door saying please call for signature and left my number. Of course he comes and goes and I have no idea, no call. Hi, I’m looked for a bit of advice as a recent switcher from Android (Google Pixel and Samsung user). On both the Pixel and S21, I usually got an automated view of who the person that’s calling is e.g. a business and also an alert if it suspected to be a spam caller. It didn’t always get it right but helped a lot. Is there a similar feature on the iPhone and if so how do I turn it on?

Edit: I’m in the UK on a UK iPhone and on a UK network. Mentioning as some services are region restricted.

I’m having an odd issue where all the text on the Home Screen and sometimes the lock screen (like words for the apps, battery percentage and bar, time etc) are all black. Changing between dark and light mode doesn’t make a difference. If I go into App Library, the text is the normal white. Same thing in spotlight or any other app that is not the Home Screen or Lock Screen.

Sometimes it will go back to white text, but even after 2 restarts it is sticking.

Anyone else having this issue?

Gonna be upgrading from SE 2020 tomorrow. Can’t decide between the 14 Plus or the 15 Plus, especially when it comes to the island vs the notch. I’m a heavy user when it comes to gaming and watching videos. I don’t use Face ID. Pros and cons between the two?

I have this crazy bug with the Lock Screen weather widget. I also have the bug with squared notification icons.

Any ideas how to resolve?

Has anyone found a way to fix this battery issue? After updating to 10.1, My watch doesn’t even last half the day anymore i get like and hour use of it and its already telling me 10% left

i used an iphone X before this and had 10k photos in it, and now im using an iphone 11 pro. im trying to transfer all my photos but icloud storage is not enough (unless i subscribe). instead i did a full backup using itunes in my computer, but my computer doesnt have enough storage as well so i link the path to store the backup to my external hard disk. after 2-3 hours, it successfully did a full backup. so now im attempting to restore that backup to the ip11 pro. as of now it shows "time remaining: about 22 hours". 2 hours earlier it showed 11 hours. it just keeps increasing and im worried if it wont finish anytime soon.

i just want the pictures in my new iphone 😭 is there anything else i can do to make it faster or any other suggestions?

Is anyone else refusing to wear their ultra 2 until an update for the battery comes out? Ever since 10.1 or 10.0.1 or whatever the recent update with double tap came out I’ve heard ALOT of people saying the battery life has been dying within 3 hours. I have experienced this as well and it’s making me refuse to wear my Apple Watch until they release an update with a fix for it

Hey all, I broke my phone a few months ago and have been using a cheap Android since then and it's bad. Being on a budget, is it a good idea to go for an OGSE which will mainly be used for light texting and listening to music? I don't use socials or play games much so there isn't really a point in me getting a flagship, can't afford to anyways, just wondering if the OGSE is decent in 2023? Should I splurge a bit more and go for a 2nd Gen instead? c:

my mom's iphone is glitching. we're so scared that her phone might be hacked. we bought this from Greenhills last February 2023. the seller told us that they changed the ba//ttery, that's it. So far, everything's good until this happened. Even though we were able to open the phone, it kept on opening random apps. we can't even turn off the wifi nor turn off the whole phone. help us please.

I want to change my wall paper and keep my Lock Screen but even when you click add a wallpaper or go to a photo directly in the gallery to use one it’s always the Lock Screen. I don’t use FaceID. Im seriously sick of these phones. It’s the most basic function…

I just bought the blue 15 pro max. I have a screen protector on. On the one hand, I really like the caseless feel in the hand, and also visually, the small bazzeles are amazing. On the other hand, Im afraid of the titanium frame scratches that didn’t appear yet.

I dont drop my phones and I do take good care of them. But the pocket dust (as far as I know) can scratch the titanium frame.

What did you think? Am I exaggerating?

So since a few days my iphone 11 has been getting these notifications seemingly at random. If I click on it nothing happens. If I swipe left to remove the notification, it goes away. Any idea why Im seeing this. Can this be related to my apple watch?

Was just wondering if you lads wear your apple watch when you go to sleep or do you put it on charge when you go to sleep ?

I’ve been trying to find a post covering this issue and i haven’t seen a single one yet.

Has any of you experienced this dynamic island bug where the expansion of dynamic island is uneven, then fixes itself and covers up a bit of the time indicator and then pushes the time indicator to the left corner so it looks “normal”?

Also the dynamic island is suspiciously wider during this action than in videos that i’ve seen of other people triggering the flashlight in iOS 17.1.

The time indicator cover up & then push to the left also happens when connecting airpods.

Hi, so I’ve been facing this issue on my iPhone 12 for a while. Storage is 64GB. I ensure there’s atleast 15-20GB of free storage left in my iPhone at all times.

Lately I’ve noticed that taking portrait shots end up crashing the camera app. A black screen pops up for a few seconds, then switches back to the camera view finder, but no portrait taken.

It’s happened way too often. Rebooting the iPhone hasn’t helped.

Anyone got helpful advice? Will be much appreciated.

The phone has been in a casetify cover and I take excellent care of it. It did fall a couple of times but nothing drastic, yet all of a sudden I found the back cracked.

I doubt that Apple will cover that since they don’t cover their own failures.

Should I try with the credit card company as part of extended warranty?
