I see everyone saying how loud the fans are, how slow it feels, how short the battery life is but I’ve never had a problem with any of this. My fans almost never turn on unless I’m suffocating it on purpose. I have a premium gaming desktop and the MacBook doesn’t seem much slower for general computing tasks, note taking, and stuff like that. The battery lasts me all day on a full charge and after 4 years of daily use the battery is still at 94% capacity. The notorious keyboard has not given me any issues yet (knock of wood).

Only issue with it is that the haptic feedback on the trackpad stopped working but I just use tap to click most of the time anyway. Did I get lucky with it? I feel like everyone is posting and commenting how awful their experience was on these and I don’t feel like it’s that bad.

Anyone using an Arc Pulse case with a screen protector other than theirs?

I have the Ferilinso screen protector (Ferilinso 4 Pack Screen Protector... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CBHRTQLG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share), but worried the Arc Pulse may crack it.

Is anybody else not able to see others’ location in iMessage since the iOS 17 update? I’ve never had any issues until now, it just says no location found. Dealt with it for a few weeks now and I haven’t been able to get it to load once, all settings are checked and have access allowed on location.

I tried to screen record but I got this error.

Any tips on how to trace.

For iPhone to lock you out randomly? Like if you left your phone over night and all of a sudden in the morning it says “your phones been locked for 5 mins” Is this a thing? Or it’s bogus? I know 8 attempts locks you out for 15 mins and 7 locks you out for 5.

I have a phobia of accidentally calling 911, and if one single button press can automatically and immediately trigger the call, then it is a higher risk of accident.

Same for SOS. I just upgraded from an iPhone 7 Plus, so it was pretty outdated and I have a lot of new features now.

I just want to make sure my phone can only call 911 if I confirm with a SECOND button press (or I actually dial the number out). Or at least a few seconds for a countdown with the opportunity to cancel it.

I’m really scared of accidentally calling and getting in legal trouble.

Newer iPhones have automatically called from people riding rollercoasters, thinking it was a car accident.

i just got my iphone 14 pro max a month ago. and it already fell like 5 times now but still working fine. is there something i should be worried of? like internal damage of the iphone?

Hi. I have an iPhone 14 PM and I have been noticing that the camera always blurs the background and focus on one object even if it is outside portrait mode. How can I prevent this from happening? It is becoming annoying. I would like to take a normal photo with all objects being focused normally, not a portrait.

Hello all! I've downloaded some videos (not those kind of videos haha), and they've been saved into my Files. They play fine, but they only play one at a time and they won't play PIP. Is there a way to put them into a playlist so I can watch them the sand way I would listen to, say, songs in the Music app? I've got a regular-old iphone 12 running the latest iOS version. Is anyone else’s ’brand-new’ iPhone 15 doing this thing where the screen becomes partially unresponsive? It allows me to swipe up for a second and not actually use the phone, but it’s very slow and the phone won’t unlock… the only way to fix it is when I restart it.

I have an iPhone 15PM. I downloaded resident evil village, but when I launch the game and right after it starts loading it crashes, it closes on its own.

The microphone does not work on speaker phone or when I record voice memos, but it DOES work when I talk on the phone normally and when I record video (front and rear facing).

I’d prefer to purchase the 15 Pro Max in-person from an Apple store, but the in-store pickup option has been unavailable since the launch date.

Is this happening around the country? Does anyone have an idea of when stock will be high enough to purchase in-store?

Whenever I'm on a phone call on speaker phone, I can barely hear my app notifications, even with all of the volumes turned all the way up. Is there a way to manually adjust it so that apps' notifications are louder while on a phone call? I'm on the latest iOS and have an iPhone XR.

Hi Guys, I have received a phising message on 20th October that i did NOT click, however I noticed that my phone started sharing location with this contact (10:28) then stopped it (10:32) then it sent the point of my location (10:36). Is it possible that i got hacked somehow? Around this time I was on a photoshoot with my 6 months old son and there is a slight possibility that he could do this from my applewatch but honestly i doubt it. What do you think i shoul do? Could someone hacked my phone? Are they able to access my mobile bank as well? Thanks in advance!

I have a friend in Japan who I will be catching up with at Xmas in Singapore. If I ask them to bring me an iPhone 15 Pro will it work no problems on Australia/Singapore networks?

Looks like the trade in values this time are more reasonable but I wonder how much I will lose in value for this minor cosmetic damage

iPhone 15 Pro Max - the volume slider always reverts back to whatever it was before I changed it. Sometimes it just bounces to whatever it wants it seems.

Also even though my ringer is set to silent, it will take itself off of silent mode multiple times a day.

It’s super annoying and hasn’t been happening before iOS 17.

Edit: I have the new Apple TV 4k and new remote.

I changed the sensitivity of the tracking to the lowest but that’s only for the speed of tracking, not the activation sensitivity of the touch pad. They really need a setting to change the activation sensitivity because it is TOO DAMN SENSITIVE.

If I’m watching YouTube TV, any time I press one of the arrow keys, I’m suddenly rewinding 30 seconds on the scrubber. I don’t get why the touch activation is even on the left and right arrow keys. If you look at it, there’s clearly a distinct circle indicating where the touch pad is. They should limit the touch area to just that inner circle.
