Cause im planning to use it as a hub for my homekit.

Will it not overheat?

I recently got the Apple Watch Ultra 2, and I've got to vent my frustration. I'm an avid runner and have always relied on the Nike Run Club (NRC) app for tracking my runs. To my surprise and annoyance, this "ultra" watch has consistently FAILED to record heart rate and calorie data during my runs with NRC.

I mean, seriously, Apple? We're talking about one of the premier health and fitness devices in the market paired with a top-tier running app. I was expecting a seamless integration and top-notch performance. Instead, I get blank stats post-run. It's not just an isolated incident either; it's been consistently messing up.

What's the point of shelling out premium $$$ for a watch that can't even reliably capture basic fitness data? The entire reason I upgraded was for enhanced fitness tracking. It's maddening!

Has anyone else experienced this? Any fixes or workarounds? I've tried the usual—restarting the watch, reinstalling the app, checking for updates—but no luck. I'm seriously considering returning the watch if this isn't resolved.

I saw online that most people who are experiencing extreme battery drain on watch OS 10.1 is because ios 17.1 hasn’t been installed & it causes a bug. If you are experiencing battery drain, check this & see if this is a possible fix for you

I got a S7 a few months ago, and have recently had problems with it not fast charging with the original USB-C cable and a power adapter I'd previously confirmed did fast charge. I'm trying to figure out if the problem is with the power adapter, or something with the watch/WatchOS itself.

One example is that yesterday, in 32 minutes it went from 34% to only 52%. I removed and put it back on the charger, and it charged much more quickly (52% to 85% in 20 minutes), more what I'd expect from fast charging.

My understanding is that optimized charging is supposed to learn from your daily charging habits to decide when to charge from 80% up to 100%. My assumption was that the phone should always fast charge to 80%, then optimized charging decides how fast it will charge beyond that.

But I'm wondering if I'm mistaken, and optimized charging may cause it to not fast charge to 80%, depending on however it's learned your usage.

Does anyone know how these 2 features are supposed to work in conjunction with each other?

I am experiencing issues with 6ghz band on my iPhone 15 pro. All of a sudden the 6ghz band disppears/appears/some times no visibile at all at often days and it was same since I purchased my phone and I have already logged a case with apple support for the same which is still unresolved. I am on iOS 17.1 stable. Does anyone else experiencing same on iPhone 15 Pro/IPhone 15 Pro max?

Is anyone having issues with iOS 17.1 it keeps on shutting down after about five minutes. I have noticed why you’re not using your phone. Everything seems normal put it down for a couple of seconds it shuts down with no warning or anything.

Hey guys. I’m thinking of buying the iPhone 15 PM for my dad. The problem is that he travels frequently between Dubai, Hong Kong, India and Singapore for business. We live in India but he spends over 6-7 months (not in a row) between the other 3 countries.

I know that the limited warranty for iPhones only work in the country of purchase but is it the same for AppleCare+ as well? Or is it possible to buy the iPhone in a different region and then buy AC+ in a different region so that at least for the first year he has coverage in 2 regions? (Say he buys the phone in India and gets AC+ from a Hong Kong store (within the stipulated time of course).

I only ask this because he runs into an issue when he’s not in India (which is a major part of the year) he will be left without a phone and that isn’t an option for him.

Also can he use an iPhone from India for a trade in at apple Hong Kong?

What’s your guy’s best screen protector recommendations?

I’ve always used Spigen cases, and I love them, but their screen protectors make the screen less accurate, and not always register the presses if I’m tapping lightly. I’d like something that’s good and still feels like glass, but hopefully works as well as ‘raw’ screen. (I always end up taking the protector off after awhile, and then never replace it)

Ok so I’m buying a MacBook for my dual enrollment classes and college in general. My best option would be the m1 mac air but I’ve seen many complaints about the battery life. And since the m3 just came out I’m not sure if that’s gonna make the older ones slow down😭 I’m on a budget of around $1,200. Give me suggestions please!

I had the 5s, 7+ and 11 pro max and I got them within the launch week without preorder or hassle but now its been over a month and theres still a 4-8 week delivery window (on the 15 pro max) through Rogers and apple themselves don't even have any until late November. Is this how the last few have been? This is insane
