It says I started with core sleep around 1:45-2 am, but I know for a fact I wasn’t asleep until 2:30 bc I was in bed watching yt videos to help me fall asleep and I was checking the time as well. I remember seeing the time say 2:30 and I was like “ok if I slept rn I’d get a solid 7 hours of sleep”.

Well I’m checking my health app and it’s saying I got over 8 hours of sleep bc it thought I was sleeping well before I actually fell asleep.

Does this mean that my heart rate just went really low as a resting HR and it got confused for sleep? Is there a way I can make sure it tracks ONLY my sleep?

(PS: I noticed the arm I wear the watch on was feeling a little tingly, I was debating taking the watch off but I like tracking my sleep so I kept it on)

We got the apple tv device around a year-ish ago and ever since then it has been completely f*&%ing our volume control up while watching TV. For reference we have a Hitachi projector and a Vizio s4251W soundbar. Prior to the apple tv thing we just had a ps4 we would stream off of and never had issues with the sound, not sure how or if we can fix this problem. It really really really sucks having to constantly turn the volume up or down when it randomly changes every time we are watching something. Weirdly it is particularly noticeable during animated shows regardless of the app we are watching on, but it happens during almost every show/movie we try watching. Advice?

I have installed Gboard in Iphone and deleted the iphone keyboard from the settings but still the iphone keyboard keeps showing up , specially when I want to sign in to some page. And because of this I am not able to use my saved passwords on Google. Because the iphone keyboard doesn't offer autofil from Google saved passwords. Can anyone help. Thanks

Unfortunately my apple watch S9 only turned on the hand washing timer once despite all of the options being activated and never after that. What is the problem? Why is this feature so inconsistent?

The 13 inch M2 MacBook Pro was discontinued and this seems like a replacement for it. There are at least two types of people this model is for and they might overlap: those who want a MBP just for the name but don't want for spend $2K on it, and those who are fine with an M1 rather than an M1 Pro, as well as the 8 and 256GB configuration. And those who want the features of the MBP, like the 120Hz XDR screen (the MacBook Airs are only 60Hz) extra ports, especially the SD card slot and HDMI.

Found in iCloud storage settings. Possibly meaning we could be seeing these icons on iOS 18? It’s a far cry but I’m hopeful.

Can I turned off the optimized charging to quickly charge my iphone from 80 to 90%? I like to charge my phone up to 90% and I noticed that when it reached 80%, it charges very slowy.

I have been using an iPhone 8 since release and in the last year or so it has started becoming painfully slow and battery life is terrible by know. When Apple released the 15 series I started thinking about upgrading to a 15 pro (non max), but then came the news of overheating and some screen burn ins as well. I would like to ask you, if you think I upgrading to the 15 pro is worth it, and have the issues been fixed with no performance loss, or should I wait one year and hope the 16 pro’s release will be smoother. I plan to use the next device for 7-8 years like I have done with my current phone.

Hey everyone, I am considering (80% sure) to buy a iPhone 14 (brand new and without SIM, just phone fully paid). This will be my first ever iPhone purchase (with my own hard earned money) I am still skeptical to buy an iPhone after using android for about 9 years but I think I will go for it.

I am looking to get the best deal out of the phone. For context I like in UK, I work in NHS and I am a student. I went to apply store yesterday and they said they don't have any discounts, with NHS I'll get 2% discount which isn't huge but OK.

I still want to know few things/convince myself before I buy it. Is Apple+ plan worth paying for? Any other tips from users like me who switched from Android to Apple? Thank you!

my mother had an iphone. she bought it last 2016 and when she transitioned to android during early 2020, the iphone was left in my care. during that time, i already had 2 phones, a huawei and xiaomi. it was kind of hard to manage them, especially i need to make sure im taking care of their batt health and not letting them die for days/weeks. i would use the iphone for socmed and its camera and i would make sure that i kept it charged, but since it drains easily, every 10 minutes i would go up and charge it again and sometimes i got lazy to go up.

last year nov and dec, i can still use the iphone. but since january this year when the classes started, i forgot about the iphone. i have face to face classes and even though there are people inside the house, they couldnt care less about the iphone. heck i can barely even charge my other phone bcuz even if i wasnt using it, the batt still went down so i have to charge it. now, i found the iphone and its charger and im trying to charge it. is there hope for this iphone? i tried long pressing the power button, nothing happened. and also when i plugged it in, nothing still happened.

Is anyone having an issue with a delay in screen turning on after unlocking? I’m finding there is the haptic saying faceID has unlocked then 2-3 seconds later the screen will show up?

Is there a way to modify the range for this function? I always hit mid 30s when sleeping and the low heart rate notifications are annoying; I’d like to lower it to a more appropriate number.

Hi Everyone I own an apple watch ultra gen1 and I got into a pretty bad bike accident today where the watch ended up being severely scratched on the titanium lip and moderately on the screen. It seems (somewhat) okay functionality-wise but i took it off two hours ago and the heart rate sensor is still glowing. I pay for apple care + on it, but I was wondering if anyone can speak to how apple will generally handle this case. Will they likely just replace the glass even though the exterior is extremely damaged? Thanks for your insight.

I am planning to get an iPhone 15 in blue but I worry that the blue outline at the bezels might be too much. Current users of blue iPhone 15 what do you all think? Should I get black instead?

I'm waiting for my 15PM to arrive and it's been so overwhelming looking at reddit posts about the issues of 15PM. I've been using android my entire life and this is my first iphone. Have a made a mistake by switching to iphone this year ? Provide me wiith some positivity please !

I'm a software engineer and for those familiar with the software, I use MATLAB / Simulink which is basically a lot of numerical / mathematical simulations and software development.

I primarily do the bulk of my work on my desktop, but occasionally I like to switch it up or work remotely if I'm stopping by my parents / coffeeshop or whatever.. I'd also like to do a bit of video editing on the go, but nothing major...

All said, I've heard really good things about both the Macbook Pro and Macbook Air. I'm kind of leaning towards the Macbook Air because I don't need ultra heavy lifting as my desktop can do that.

Can anyone share their experience hopefully with someone who also uses Matlab / Simulink?

Hello all, when using my iPhone to listen to music or a video on YouTube with AirPods, I will receive a text on my watch, I then reply to the text with voice dictation on the watch and it pauses anything I'm listening to. When I'm done sending the text, it doesn't even AT LEAST resume what I'm listening to, I have to pull out my phone and hit play every time and it's extremely annoying!

Is there a way to stop the watch's dictation from pausing anything?

I am new to Apple Watch and have been using it for running for all of October. It had some base estimate for my max HR, resting HR, and zones that it said will update on the first or every month.

Well it’s the first of the month and it’s hasn’t updated yet. It has recorded a higher HR during workouts than it originally estimated my max to be.

Anybody know how I can force the update?

Hey everyone! Does anyone know what causes the apple tv device white light to continue blinking while the input keeps switching and to "no signal"? I've unplugged all cables in tv and apple tv device. Switched around HDMI cables. Reset video settings to all original settings. I even tried a factory reset on the device itself and what you see in the video is what happened during the factory reset. Device is only a year old, barely been touched and never gave me an issue until now.

Just wondering since I’ve been sleeping through my alarm’s recently and it’s made my mornings super stressful but I always space them abouht half an hour apart. Have any of you tried and if so does it work?
