I've been using iPhone since the 7 but honestly Im pretty lazy with features and I just went from the 11pm to the 15pm so there's probably a couple years of features that I have no idea about. What are your favourites?

Also, iCloud. I always start fresh on a new phone but despite turning off Sync and deleting my iCloud backup on my 11pm, it still tries to sync all the photos/videos to my new phone. Why?

I can’t explain how annoying it is for Apple to take over the best weather app from the App Store then just breaks it. This radar is always having problems and it’s annoying. Is Apple even fixing this app?

Anybody figure out how to get Cardio Recovery to log workout data on an iPhone (e.g., 14PM) ? On 11/1 I had one 5 min walk recorded. Since then, a couple of 5 min ellipticals & a couple of 5 min rowing sessions were not recorded.

Apple TV, Settings, Remotes and Devices, Bluetooth, set Suggest Nearby Airpods to Off

This was bugging me for a while. My Airpods (latest Airpod Pros) would disconnect unexpectedly from my Apple TV (latest gen).

It was fairly predictable in that they'd disconnect when I finished one episode and let it automatically start the next episode (Max and Peacock for sure it'd happen then, I think other apps too), or with an app that has ads such as Tubi, when it would switch to an ad, the Airpods would disconnect. It's almost like some audio format change was causing the disconnect.

Did some digging, found others fixed it by disabling Suggest Nearby Airpods, and sure enough, that immediately fixed it for me. Zero disconnects since disabling that. And this was mentioned in years-old threads, so it isn't a new problem, but Apple has yet to get around to fixing the bug with the Suggest Nearby Airpods feature that causes Airpods to disconnect unexpectedly.

That feature simplifies pairing, but once Airpods are paired, I'm not aware of any benefit it provides. I'm not missing anything by having it disabled.

Hello all, I want to start fresh on a new phone and only transfer contacts, messages and a few apps to the new iphone. Is this possible without downloading everything from iCloud?

I just want to ask if your iphone13 does run games pretty smoothly. For context I have an Iphone13, not mini, nor pro or promax, just the 13. And I can't tell if it's good because I'm used on having a high refresh rate from my previous phone. So I can't tell if it's good or not.

Hi everyone, typing this from my second gen SE right now! I think it’s time for an upgrade but I’ve done so much research and still can’t figure out what phone.

I like to take pictures but considering I have an SE I think any phone would be an upgrade. The most important thing is that i’d love to be able to take pictures of is stars! I’m really not picky with anything else, i’m not a techy person, I just want a phone with decent camera quality that doesn’t freeze anytime I open an app!

I know most people are going to tell me to get the 15, but im not sure it’s worth it for me. I literally do not care about all the random little things I am not picky! I live in Canada where the base model 15 is over 1k. So I was considering the 13 since I heard it’s better than the 14? Can anyone help!! Thanks so much!

My girlfriend currently has an extremely old early 2000s macbook air that is on its last leg. She uses for school and business. I want to surprise her with a christmas gift of a new (used) macbook.

In recent years (within the last 5?) what model is the best for the used market? Touch bar or no? What years to avoid? Etc.

I’m trying to figure out how to get my watch to drop from 85% to 79% battery health, so I can get an AppleCare replacement. Any ideas of heavy demanding apps that would make my battery drain faster, thus making my watch need more charge cycles.

I recently purchased a M2 Macbook Air and I was thinking if I should just keep the M2 Air or spend the extra couple hundreds dollars to buy an M3 Pro.

My main problem with the M2 Air is a lack of a fan so it gets quite hot during long periods of playing games.

Also 120hz would be quite nice 😌

I was scrolling thru fb while playing music then suddenly my phone went black, displayed the loading circling symbol. I couldn’t press anything so I just had to wait. Music did not stop playing while it was frozen too

Was it like a bug??? My phone is updated and I have a 14 pro.

I have the opportunity to buy either a used Macbook Pro M2 Max (38 Core GPU) 16inch64gb 2TB at $2600 or a used M2 Pro 18 (18 Core GPU) 16inch 16gb 1TB for $2100. The M2 Max has warranty until Feb2024 and the M2 Pro has warranty through best buy for the next 2 years.

I intend on using the laptop with Rewind AI as I check email, work on reviewing and making power points, read pdfs, and occasionally play around with LLMs using Ollama (small 7b models). I might game with Steam, but it would be light games (ex. Polytopia, Miami Vice, old Sega titles, etc).

I... can't with Siri anymore

Does anyone else use Reminders to run their whole life? (I've tried other to-do scheduling apps, nothing works as well). I have around 100 active reminders on various schedules, plus probably over 1k "completed" reminders on my grocery list. None of my lists will load on my watch.

Is there a way for me to clear the cache of completed reminders to help this? Or any other ideas?
