Has anyone’s Watch gotten better? My series 4 is 18 hours in and it’s at 40% which is better than when it was at 10.1 . The heart rate complication also started working.

Anyone else encountering this problem? I keep setting the band to be comfortably snug, and it doesn’t budge if I pull on it (unless I do it forcefully). Yet usually within 30 mins or so it keeps loosening - not entirely, but by one bump or so.

For context, I have a first gen Apple TV 4K, and first gen stereo paired Homepods. Everything is updated to the latest version.

I was very excited to try this feature, but for some reason is misbehaving for me.

On apps that DOES NOT use Apple native A/V player, and only offer low quality stereo sound, like SkyShowtime, this does what is supposed to do, and make the audio and voices so much loud and clear. Is fantastic, because the untouched audio stream sounds very low and compressed and this helps a lot.

But on apps that use Apple native A/V player, and have 5.1 and Atmos content (like Netflix, Disney+, and Apple own apps), enabling this makes the voices sightly lower and muffled instead of louder. It does not make any sense.

Also, every now and then it will make the audio stream echo every few seconds, and to fix it, I have to exit and restart the playback.

It´s frustrating because, as it is right now, I cannot leave it enabled all the time, which is what I intended to do.

Any ideas?. Anyone else having issues?

You’ll tap the screen and instead of waking up nicely it just jumps to the screen being on.

Also when unlocking it sometimes does the same thing with skipping the padlock animation.

A family member received one of those text message scams claiming that a package could not be delivered. Clicked the link and entered their personal data. The site claimed that a € 1.50 fee had to be paid, so bank details were entered. However it became suspicious when the banking app asked to approve a € 350 transfer. Cancelled, informed bank, locked account, will get new credit card.

The bank suggested to reset the phone to factory settings. Does that make sense? A normal scammer in my opinion won’t have the ressourced to install malware on a fairly up-to-date iPhone (iP 13, automatic updates are on). Reset and restoring from cloud seems overblown to me.

I quickly checked and there is neither a company profile nor any unusual app to find.

What do you think about the need to reset?

Spent €300 or something on a watch direct from Apple.

Specifically got it for running without my iPhone so I can track runs and also listen to podcasts.

Firstly, pocketcasts wants a subscription for the pleasure of listening on my very expensive wrist device. Ok let’s try Apple Podcasts.

No matter what I do, it only plays on the phone. Earphones connected to the watch is fine. But for the life of me I cannot get the podcast to play on my watch.

When I hit PLAY on the watch, without fail it starts on the phone.

I’ve tried various things and nothing changes it.

If this is a likely and longstanding issue then that’s fine as it’s going back for a refund anyway.

But just what is going on or what am I doing wrong? Why is it so complicated?

I’m not exactly a Luddite either.

The return is in process and need to drop it at a point but just wanted to know what I did or didn’t do wrong.

So I set my action button up to the shortcut to take a screenshot. When I do it, the screenshot doesn’t save to my photos. Any advice?

I've recently bought the foot pedaler (above) to do some cardio whilst I'm working from home. How would you track this using the watch? I would have thought it would be indoor cycle but I just wanted to check. Thanks!

The title says everything, is there an app where I could access data from the Health app directly from my Apple Watch?

Hello, as the title implies, my 14P stops charging due to high temp but the phone isn't even hot. It has already happened twice wherein the charging isn't resuming even if the temp is normal. I also didn't feel any heat on it during the entire duration of the charge as it is right next to me and I use my phone every 5-10 minutes or so. The first time it happened, It stopped at 90 something percent and won't resume. And after I restarted the phone unplugged, the battery jumped to 100% but it says something like "last charged to 90% 2 minutes ago while displaying 100 on top. My battery health is 99%.

basically the title, the camera shutter sound is very loud even after turning ringer down/off, volume down, and restarting. it is a new phone and has been like this since I got it. any ideas on how to fix?

I've been trying to find a decent deal and some of the listings are kinda crazy, like sealed apple watch ultras for $400. Are they commonly stolen? What are the odds they sealed it themselves and there's a fake watch inside (since obviously someone selling a sealed product isn't going to let you open it)

New to iPhone after swapping from android. Enjoying the experience so far. Screens not as bright as android. But my main irritant is the notifications all bunching together at the bottom of the Lock Screen and Notification Centre. I’ve selected list from the settings but that hasn’t changed anything. Any help appreciated.

Edit: I’ve googled extensively and fussed with some settings but getting no where.

How do you feel about your purchase a year later? Do you care about the newer gesture controls not being available to you?
