I took it out immediately, the phone was half-submerged. I wiped it off but didn't turn it off or let it dry.

How screwed is my phone? It feels like it drains 2x or 3x faster now.

I know I’m not alone when I say I hate the swap between swipe up and side button functions. But I have noticed routinely that the Smart Stack is visible on my watch even when it’s not up facing me. So I had bought my MacBook from a friend not knowing they didn’t take their iCloud account off is there any chance I can bypass the old persons iCloud account to still get into my laptop?

I restored my phone after backing it up/resetting and tons of my pictures and videos are blacked out and say “Error occurred while loading a higher quality version of this photo” Is there any way to get these files back to normal?

Do anyone have some actual noise levels in decibel (SPL, i e sound pressure level assumed) for each and all of the new M3 MacBooks? I suppose it's only the fans that would make any noise, unless you're making it yourself.

The technical documents available at Apple's site has some ECMA-109 figures, but I have no idea how interpret these. L p A,m (dB): 3 at the user position? The docs say "L p A,m is the mean A-weighted sound pressure level measured at operator position (rounded to the nearest 1 dB)." Oh yeah?

What does that mean in real life? Also, is it even about the fans? 3 dB SPL? I don't think so.

I just noticed to some annoyance that when you take photos using portrait mode, the image is reduced to 12MP and files are about 1.6MB. However if you take the same photo in photo mode and then apply auto portrait mode after the fact you get the full 24MP and files are about 2.6MB.

I have been using portrait mode for convenience to avoid having to go back and apply portrait after the fact but am thinking I should use normal photo mode more.

Has anyone noticed any other differences between portrait vs photo/auto portrait modes?

Is There a way to back up only photos and messages? I will transfer from my iphone 12 to my 15 pro max

Does anyone know how to delete emails with an ICloud account from my iPhone but still keep it on my iPad? I've figured out how to separate everything else, but once I hit the delete for an email they're both gone. Thanks!!

I need your opinion: some days ago I received my 4th iPhone 15 Pro from Amazon...yes, the fourth replacement.

The first one was afflicted by the well-known overheating, so much that it couldn't be held against the cheek during a call... the update didn't solve the issue.

The second device, at maximum volume, emitted a very annoying buzz from speakers during phone calls due to some internal vibration... in exchange for the €1369 I paid, I expected a device without defects.

Then the third iPhone arrived: the problems with the speakerphones were identical to the second: a buzz appeared while calling, using the speakers as loudspeaker.

I sent that iPhone back to Amazon and I bought another one...nothing changed also with the fourth device.

This buzz occurs, something like a vibration, not a distortion or a clipping...it's a clear vibration coming from the speakers or from the inside, which is really annoying when using the speakerphone at maximum volume: obviously I can't use the speakerphone by limiting the volume, it would be a contradiction.

Is anyone else having the same problem, or would be kind enough to do a test? 🤗

When listening to music or vocal notes as well as recordings, the vibration is still here but less perceived...

I’ve been having this issue for a few years now so I couldn’t say exactly how or when this issue started.

Every morning, from about 7-830am, my clock app will buzz and pop up with an alarm banner. It gives the option to dismiss it and stop the alarm yet either option, it’ll buzz again about 15 minutes later. This continues until the final alarm buzzes at 830. This happens even with no alarms set, no bed time set, and will alarm in addition to any alarms I’ve actually set.

I recently updated phones from the 8 to the 15 and the new one has, as expected, inherited this problem. I finally tried uninstalling the app and it prompted me to delete its data stored in the health app. Which I did. After reinstalling the problem persisted. At this point I was so fed up I just uninstalled both the clock and the health apps with the intention of never using them again.

Lo and behold, this morning at 7am the usual barrage of alarms kept going off until the usual 830. The clock app is uninstalled. Pressing the banner then notifies me that the app is not installed and asks if I’d like to be taken to the App Store.

Any ideas how to fix this problem? It’s driving me crazy and I can’t find any solutions online.

Hello, I'm looking for help as I'm planning on buying an apple watch but I have some questions for the Cellular version. My main use of the apple watch will be for convenience and for running.

However, how does the Cellular version work? For example:

1)If I leave my phone at home and go somewhere far away will I still be able to make phone calls & send messages?

2)How does it use my phone number if my phone is not nearby?

3)Can it use my mobile data if my phone is not near?

I compared a friend’s iphone 7 screen to the screens of the iphone 11 pro max and iphone SE 2nd gen.

I noticed the newer iphones screen have now a yellow-ish tint. The true tone is toggled off. It might be the ios updates to blame. So , not sure if the picture I enclosed are any help. The eye can pick up the difference but the camera cannot really.

I'm looking for case suggestions similar to the Fre Magsafe from Otterbox or the SPORTLINK Waterproof case on Amazon. I would like something that is waterproof, or at the very least protects the screen and camera. Or should I do with a less 'safe' case and get a screen protector and camera protector individually of some sort?

Hi all—I’ve always relied on my phone to wake me up in the morning and today it didn’t go off. I tested other alarms and none of the alarms rang, didn’t even vibrate as a matter of fact, just gave me a top banner of “alarm”. Any idea why this might be happening?

For context: my 13 Pro had always rung without a problem. My sound in setting is turned on, the phone is not on silent (even if it were, it was never a problem for alarm to ring); neither did I make any change to my phone, except for a system update a couple of days ago.

I've always been an android user, but recently noticed that iPhone 12 minis are super cheap, used, of course, and I wanted to buy it, but I'm scared, that going from a gigantic Samsung A14 to the 12 mini is going to be too hard for me.
