I know you guys are sick of these posts, but I really am stuck. I've got a few options - and I'm happy to spend up to the most expensive one - however not sure if I need to

Here is some background: I am a final year high school student whose laptop just died and need a new one for the rest of school + into university. I do web browsing, school essays/assignments and lots of editing in lightroom/photoshop as I am a photography student

Here are the options I present to myself:

13" MBA M2 10 core GPU, 16gb ram, 512gb storage - $2,369

14" MBP M3 Base Model + 16gb ram - $2,799

Or on the refurbished store: 14" MBP M1 Pro 8‑Core CPU and 14‑Core GPU, 16gb ram, 512gb storage - $2,399

Refurbished 14-inch MacBook Pro Apple M2 Pro Chip with 10‑Core CPU and 16‑Core GPU - Space Grey - $2719

Or if there are any other ones that you guys may recommend? It has to be able to handle lots of multitasking (as I tend to do many tasks at once over many apps, hence ram upgrades), and photo editing in photoshop/lightoom

Hi All,

I left my company and took my phone with me.

It has now been ( locked the MDM was never removed)

I've tried contacting IT at my previous company, but my requests to remove the phone from the company portal are being ignore

Can anyone advise some free software to unlock/remove the mdm?

does anyone use multiple ITunes stores to purchase their movies or just one? I find it easier/cost effecient to use my home country for purchases and a plex server for everything else that's not available/never goes on sale. currently at 650 something films, though I find the $5 sales seem to be the same movies cycled in and out all year long.

The 15 pro is my favourite iPhone ever, upgraded from a 13 pro and man I love the dynamic island and usb-c is such a breathe of fresh air.

I went to T-Mobile today. I held an iPhone 15 pro in my hand and my goodness. It felt so good in the hands. I think apple really nailed the design this year. I still don't think it's enough to upgrade from my iPhone 14 pro, But the 15 pro is such a beautiful device no doubt.

I just got the new IPhone 15 pro a week ago and even though my phone says I’m connected my wifi does not work at all. For some reason my messages do work though. The wifi will sometimes work for a few minutes then completely stop and a few times I would go to settings and it would say no internet connection under the network.

I’m just wondering if anybody else has this issue or know how to deal with it. I know my phone is the problem because the wifi works for the rest of my family members, and this wifi issue is also happening at my own apartment and at my college’s wifi.

I’ve all setting turned on for LED flash alert but its not working for notifications and alarm with calls it’s working fine … is there away to fix it

Things I love about the Ultra 2 (in a military enviroment):

• 1 nit Brightness Great for keeping night vision in pitch dark, paired with the new red night face

• Always on display When shooting/aiming for long times, I don’t need to raise my arm to see the time

• Battery life I only have to charge the watch every 2 days, useful during long exercises

• Durability I bump the watch on rocks, metal door frames and pretty much everything. Still don’t have a single scratch on the watch

• Watch band Love the color and ruggedness

Negatives

• Not allowed in certain situations (War exercises, the watch glows like a light bulb when looking through night vision) (No smart watches allowed during OPSEC meetings and exercises)

Please share your thoughts on wearing a smart watch in the Military, would like to read about some other experiences!

This has changed my life. By using ATVs for my main television displays in the different levels of my house, my iPhone has become the best universal remote I’ve ever had. And I can access the remote by a 2 second button press. The Apple TV remote even selects the room I am in by itself!! This is my forever Action Button setting.

Before the last update my battery would easily last all day and night. I’d even have enough to keep it going until the afternoon. Since updating last night to watchOS 10.1.1, the battery on my Series 8 has been awful. I’ve not used GPS or cellular and had my phone with me all day. Anyone else had this issue? I know I only charged it to 88% this morning but I can’t remember the last time I had to top it up in the evening before a workout.

I have TRIED to like watchOS 10. Hell, I was pretty excited for new features, but it’s been a massive disappointment. I don’t use the widgets at all, since I already have everything I want on my watch face. The control center was great where it was, and the Digital Crown and side buttons have been completely changed. I can’t double press on the crown to return to my previous app, which I used multiple times a day. Now I have to use the dock to return to my last app, which adds extra steps. Apple Watch was great because of how efficient it was to use, but WatchOS 10 has made added so many steps to any action. I’m really hoping Apple will give us the option for this new UI or the old one, because it sucks.

Looks to be a tide complication, but I haven’t been able to find this particular one. It looks really nice.

Nothing to say, just stoked to finally take the plunge and join the AW club

I’m coming from an iPhone XR (don’t buy phones unless needed). My camera quality sucks and it’s now shaking (making a shuttering sound) so needless to say time for an upgrade.

I have 3 little kids I often take pictures of, soccer, playgrounds etc. I’m wondering if the picture quality of the 15 pro is worth upgrading to over the 15? The 120hz isn’t a big thing for me. The a17 chip should improve the longevity of the phone? Also curious on battery life of the pro.

My 5year old phone usually needs a charge around 6/7pm. Assuming either one would get me through the day.

Money isn’t a big issues but I don’t want to throw away $200 either.
