Did anyone download, are there any bugs, how’s the battery life ? I’m on 17 but hesitant to update. (This would be my second ever iOS update, got my phone 2 weeks ago)

I just got a new iPhone as was due an upgrade but I can’t transfer over from my old phone to new phone as it keeps crashing. My phone will turn on for a minute, turn itself off and on again and keeps repeating

I have an iphone 13 for a year , and i wanna know some apps to download on my iphone .

After the latest update my phone leaves me with a blank home screen pretty often. The only way to fix it is to lock the phone and unlock it again.

As you can see in my Home Screen the battery life and time and etc is at the top, but none of my apps or anything show up, and it’s virtually still locked.

Hii everyone I basically want to transfer all my data from an XR to a 12, but in order to do that I have to update the 12 with the latest software version (17.1 if im not wrong). It's been taking 5 hours and im afraid there's something wrong with the phone. I already tried to call support and they basically told me that these things may occur when the connection isnt very stable or when the update takes up much space, so I just have to wait. Should I be patient or just give up ahaha thanks in advance

Is there a list of apps that support 120 hz and ones that are capped at 80 hz?

I'm mainly interested in 120 hz while reading and scrolling up and down. Do the web browsers, news apps, Reddit app, etc run at 80hz or 120 hz?

So I’m considering buying the 15 for my birthday next year and I’ve been watching a lot of reviews and there’s many complaints about the phone freezing up and not working, and the camera, every tik toker I’ve seen has complained about it saying the camera makes everything look dull and too sharp. This is isn’t what I expect for an expensive phone, I was even considering the s23 ultra in case the 15 was so bad.

What are your opinions on this? Has anybody here had issues with it?

Starting to see some holiday sales start to pop up and considering both.

Tried the Ultra 2 and disliked the weight and how dim the screen got in low.

Could any third party accessory be programmed to work as a wrist on detection? Yes, if the watchos was tweaked.

I would like to find a solution for wearing the apple watch Ultra in winter. Bulky clothing and an active outdoor job means the apple watch continuously loses the on wrist detection. I believe apple should sell some other method which could be unlocked with the phone, and would stay on under winter gloves. However, the Oura ring and others seem bulky anyway, so I may just deactivate wrist detection.

Now that iOS 17 was released, I was wondering if there is a way to desactivate the auto-enhance of the camera.

Hey, what do you think when will the next Apple TV be introduced and at what price? I just bought the current Apple TV with 128GB for 160 Euros (Germany) and am now unsure whether I should unpack it or wait? The rumor mill is hot, an Apple TV with more graphics power would be great for gaming, but I would actually like to use my Apple TV now and not always have to hang my iPad Pro on my TV for movies or gaming. Unpack and have fun with it or will a new generation be introduced in the near future at a similar price, so that I would regret it?

My series 8 watch properly records push motions when wheeling manually, but a 100 meter walk with trekking poles gets ignored by the same watch.

How do I get the watch to recognize this movement?

Occasionally my iPhone 15 pro remote app will not allow any clicks, and then subsequently bricks my iPhone. Won’t allow clicking within other apps for a few minutes. Have to reset my phone and try again. I’m running an Apple TV 4K 4th gen and the 15 pro, both updated to the latest OS.

I've just noticed there is a small crack in the LCD panel of my MacBook Air m2. How bad is it? Is it gonna expand?

As someone who has moved back to iOS with the 15 Pro and overall happy with the device, but also own a Samsung S23 and tried the Pixel 8 Pro, one thing I notice is how slow everything moves in iOS and I think that gets misrepresented as smoothness.

Take swiping from the left to go back a screen on the apps that support it, on some apps I thought it didn’t do it but what I realised was that I was swiping too fast being used to Android. I am having to learn myself to swipe left from the edge at around a third of the speed I do it on Android. On the S23 and P8 Pro it’s so instantaneous.

Also the Reddit app, sure it scrolls smoothly, but it also scrolls way slower than my S23. I actually prefer the way faster and slightly less smooth scrolling on the S23. I’ve noticed it in many many apps, it’s like animation and scrolling speed is on ‘slow’.

Like I said still overall happy with the device, just a observation. Is there any way to speed it up in iOS?
