How do I keep my calendar in month view and not jumping back to event view?

Yesterday the phone stopped charging. Used a different cable on the original charger and it won't still charge. Then used a different charger and the original cable and it won't charge still.

Used different charger and cable , and the phone is charging. Is the charger cable dead or some known issue?

I’ve been rocking the SE2020 since launch.

I’ve watched every release since then come and go, including the recent iPhone 15 and there is never enough of a reason to jump up.

The newer models, particularly the redesign that came with the 12 initially peaked my interest, being somewhat of a callback to my favourite device, the iPhone 4.

However, they are simply far too big and chunky.

I’m not a social media influencer and I’m not a photographer, so the insane power gains, fancy displays and high end cameras are completely lost on me.

I’m desperate for an iPhone that isnt quite as outdated as the SE but also slim and light, with “true” all day battery life, unlike the lofty claims Apple makes.

From what I can see, the closest thing I’m going to get out of the more recent releases is going to be a refurbished or second hand iPhone 11 Pro, with a fresh battery.

It’s the smallest and lightest of the bunch, with a very good reputation for holding its charge.

What do you guys think?

My AVG VPN had to be deleted. I didn’t realize it was the VPN that did this until I totally deleted the app. Even shutting the VPN off did not work as it would, by itself, turn back on a few mins later.

I’d love for this to actually happen. Hopefully it’s coming 🔜

Any ideas on how I can fix/fill this scratch/dent so it’s no longer visible?

1.5 gigabytes to fix something so simple, it should only be a few lines of code. Why the hell does apple think this is OK?!? I guess I'll just avoid wireless charging in the meantime until I'm forced to update. Just got this phone too. Is it normal for updates to be this big??

I have no clue how this happened. My MacBook has had no issues connecting to my TV up until now. I was moving some stuff around on my table, and now it shows as no signal. It’s says it’s connected to my TV on my displays settings, but nothing is showing on my TV. I even got a new HDMI cable and it’s still not showing. I connected it to another TV and it’s still saying “no signal” it can’t be my display port cable bc if it wasn’t working, it wouldn’t even be showing up that it’s connected to my TV.

I’m not sure if I may have hit a key accidentally on my keyboard to where it’s doing this all of a sudden. But please help if anyone knows what’s wrong

When is the best time to buy either an iPhone 14, 13, or 12?

I just bought a 14 pro max after coming from a Samsung A52s. I could immediately notice that scrolling is not as smooth as on the samsung, and after digging a bit I now know that apple mostly limits the scrolling to 80 Hz. I love every other aspect of the iphone except for this refresh rate problem, but unfortunately, the refresh rate is the most important part of a phone for me, so I am already looking to return it and probably get an S23 Ultra. However, I would first like to ask if there have been improvements made to ProMotion in the past and if you think Apple would at some point allow us to use a fixed 120 hz refresh rate (turning on screen recorder all the time in order to get the full 120 Hz experience is not ideal).

My wife and I got a pair of new phones about a month ago (15 Plus and a 15 Pro). We are trying to figure out if we are crazy or not.

Comparing pictures of our kids from our phones (12 mini's) to these new phones, we notice a huge decrease in sharpness and detail in faces. With the 12 mini's, you could count eye lashes ... and achieving a good focus on the face was effortless in most any light level, even with active toddlers running around. With these new phones, both struggle to capture focus on faces. It looks fine up until the photos are captured, and what gets saved is ALWAYS blurry. No counting eyelashes! At first glance the photos look ok, but zooming in you see that there is reduced detail/sharpness.

The bizarre thing is that it happens with both our phones (that have different cameras) and the problem disappears when we take photos of other things...no problem focusing with great sharpness on a chair or lamp or cup. This blurry/grainy thing only happens with faces.

Are we crazy? Anyone else have this problem? I have already chatted with Apple for hours, and while they acknowledge our photos look blurry, the solution is mail them back to 'be repaired'.

Does anyone feel the same way?

Should I upgrade to the iPhone 15 to avoid this?

Hi everyone, I purchased the Belkin UltraGlass 2 Screen Protector for iPhone 15 Pro Max, and nearly a month later what looks like an air bubble has suddenly appeared in the top left corner of the screen. I woke up and noticed it, and the night before it wasn’t there at all. I don’t remember peeling the screen protector off so I don’t know how it happened. What’s interesting is that the exact same thing happened with this exact screen protector (this is now the second one I bought) in the same spot. The first time I thought it was my fault so I bought another one but this time I was very careful. What do you think is causing this and is there a way to fix it besides buying another one (which will likely only temporarily fix it and it is expensive)? I tried pushing the bubble to the edge of the screen to try to get it out but that doesn’t work. Do you think there’s an issue with the phone’s display as this bubble happened in the same spot with two screen protectors? TIA

Got quite the upgrade due to AT&T warranty not having an iPhone X anymore. Loving my 12 pro so far. The camera is way better than my old iPhone X and so is the screen. I have been on iPhone X since 2017.

So my dad is the one primarily in charge of our phone stuff, we were trying to get the Apple TV+ subscription that comes with our T-mobile plan, but being my dad is the main number it has to be through him. If I clicked the link he sent me, and logged into my Apple ID. Would that mean my Apple ID will now be connected to his phone number? I’m paranoid now that he could have access to all of my stuff

I've just got the iPhone 15 PM and going through the app store I'm incredibly disappointed with what's available. It's pretty much the same apps that have been there for ten years already and even the ones that were good at one point (like picsart) have incorporated crappy AI features and a subscription model for simple effects. On my android I loved using chroma lab, mirror lab, glitcho, snapseed and kinemaster for video editing...they all had unique intuitive layouts without any extra fluff or useless AI features...can anyone recommend some unique, interesting apps for photo editing without a subscription? I am also looking for an app that can take burst photos and convert them into gifs, any help or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I hate the Apple Watch. My Samsung watch was far superior. It recorded every workout. No matter what I did walk, run, stairs whatever. My Apple Watch barely records any of them and if I start the workout it just pauses it ten seconds later. I’ve read about turning off pause workouts none of it works. Still pauses it only a few seconds in. It’s stupid but that was a big motivation for me seeing how many calories I burned in a day or a workout.

I’ve been having the issue for a while, and there aren’t any clear answers online but whenever I try to watch a movie on the Apple TV app, it will occasionally try to direct me to another app and it won’t let me rent it in Apple TV. For example, today I was trying to watch “the great debaters” and it kept trying to redirect me to prime video. I do not have prime video. Is there a solution to this?

Hello, can someone tell me if they had experience with AWU and Garmin Epix Pro, how accurate is one over the other?

Features-wise, I can go with both. Although I have iPhone, I am not going to be using the watch for smartwatch features. My main goal is using it as a fitness and sleep tracking. I don't care about the extra fitness metrics that Garmin offers. All I care about is the accuracy of the data like steps, calories, HR, sleep stages etc. I do like to have the option of seeing my readiness score and stuff like that.

Please suggest.

I have the Apple Watch 7 with 10.1.1 and terrible battery drain. Updated to 10.2 Beta but that update still didn’t fix it. Battery would go from 100% to 20% after 7 hours of wearing it and not actively doing anything on it.

I went through “background app usage” and turned everything off with only the normal apps/services I actively use and my battery is back to normal. It’ll drain down to 40% after 12 hours. Maybe IOS has some weird background app drain issue. Worked for me, easy to try and rule out as a fix if you are experiencing these issues.

My Aftershokz headphones work fine when listening to music however when I get a call the phone reverts back to its speaker. Any suggestions?
