about two weeks ago i bought an iphone 15 and i absolutely LOVE it, it’s literally the prettiest phone i ever had and ever seen. i love everything about it.

however, it was expensive. and i feel like i spent money that i didn’t have (i had the money and i earned it all myself but still). it’s not like i’m struggling with money now or anything, i just feel weird idk. makes me wanna return it and buy a used iphone 11. but a used iphone 11 won’t last me as long as the iphone 15 will and i plan to keep it for LOOOOONG.

i also wanna buy a macbook soon, because i NEED one for studies and stuff like that. so ill feel double bad for spending money but idk.

I know that you can forward a number to your iPhone, but before I try this I was wondering if anyone knows the answer.

I have a work iPhone and a personal iPhone. I would like to forward my work phone number to my personal one so that I only need to carry one phone…if someone calls my work number is there any way to tell which phone number was dialed (work number or personal?) when I look at the incoming call on my personal phone?

I’m a frugal person and just want a phone that’ll not cost me much in the long run.

I currently use an SE 2020 so I’m pretty behind the times. The battery health is getting to the point I can barely leave the house without it dying. Also soon I imagine this phone won’t be able to download some apps etc if it’s not compatible with the latest iOS upgrades.

For my new phone, I’d get Sim only and I don’t need bells and whistles…. Just something where the battery healthy will stay good for a while, and get the latest updates.

I’m heavy handed and break phones easily so ideally not much if I break the screen etc.

Which model do you recommend?

Hi. I was traveling from USA to India and wanted to gift my Mom a brand new Iphone. I was traveling through Kuwait Airways and I put my new phone in one of the checked in bags and the mistake I made was I did not lock that bag. At arrival I couldn’t find the phone in my bag. I was wondering if it’s possible to track the new phone given it was never setup in the first place.

Hi, I have been using iPhone 11 pro for 2 years now. (Got the 13 pro for an amazing price)

I didn't think it was worth it to upgrade as it was still working like a charm. BUT now that I have switched to the 13 pro, 120hz is making it feel like magic and the camera quality has also improved a lot!! And the price I got it for also crazyyy!!

What's the one thing that you feel was worth upgrading when you upgraded from an older device?

we recently bought an rv. the people we bought it from left an apple tv in it. they never specified if they meant to or not but the rest of the rv was empty aside from a baby play pen and the appletv. also they have our contact details and haven't contacted us about it. just recently booted it up and its still logged into their icloud. im not sure if i can just log out and log myself into that or not because i know how apple is with security and everything

I’ve heard news about a new sort of attack where somebody emulates an Apple TV and sends advertising packages in an extremely high frequency to spam and at last “DoS” (I know not the right term here but maybe the most accurat analogy) any iPhone in the area, freezing or even shutting it down.

Didn’t think of it as a real threat but me and some friends of mine who were at a small gathering at my local university (Germany) have been victims of such an attack. Our phones were frozen or did even shut off.

Anybody else got experience with that?

My iphone was stolen after I'd forgotten the passcode and had my friend help me with it give it to him on a Thursday didn't go to school on Friday so Monday bro gave it to me. It needed my to signin to icloud I never had the chance to do it since I was in school and didn't have internet. Later that it was stolen it's been like a month and a few days think it was one of my own boys who done it even if it wasn't him he knows who it was but that niqqa keeps on lying.Bro said to this other niqqa he had intentions of stealing but keeps on denying it. Of all the services I had and have Apple TV is by far the best. For All Mankind in particular is perhaps the most thoughtful series to watch, in particular seeing where the USA is drifting to. We may have only one earth, but we definitely have the Solar System available as the final exit. The only other show noteworthy in my point of view historically speaking were the shows on Channel xyz, like Upstairs, Downstairs; House of Cards. Ian Richardson was the perfect choice. He should have however become American and go for the Presidency.

iPhone 14 Pro max

Why is it so hard for an iphone to press on the right part of the text i want or to change text when theres a type🥲. sometimes it even suggests things that are completely wrong or make no sense. aswell as that sometimes after ive fixed an error and i for example want to edit the text right before that word, it keeps selecting that same i had already fixed. this is a rant but for a device so expensive there are so many things wrong with it and this is just one of them.

Except for my iPhone 4 which I don’t have the box for anymore. 5S, 6, 6S Plus, SE, 7, 8 Plus, XS, 13 Pro, and current 15 Pro.

like the title says, would they still be able to call me or would it block their anonymous calls as well?

I'm about to buy an Apple magsafe charger as a gift for my GF. She has an iPhone 11.

My understanding right now, is that the magsafe won't "stick" to the back of the phone but it will charge it anyways.

Is that correct?

An additional question I have, is that she has a "normal" (plastic/silicone) case. Do you think the wireless charge will work anyways without removing it from the case?

Or should I also buy a new case too?

hello in case of a stealing what people can do after it was locked ? i’m seeing everywhere people saying they can unlock icloud bla-bla-bla surely a lot of scams but is it really 100% ? I also see people mentioning long time like 9-15 days, probably because they’re trying to phish the owner i’ve also seen techniques where they send fake bills to apple but i don’t think apple can fall in is kind of traps the last thing I see is people “who knows someone who can replace the chip” but since the ID is in the soc and soc/motherboard is worth the price of the phone … and even if they can bypass it it will be network locks so why steal iphones in 2023 ?

I’m not sure if I’m alone here but on the latest iOS on my iPhone 14 PM my keyboard is ridiculously slow. Many times I’ll type, and I continue typing but the keyboard itself just freezes and I have to wait 10+ seconds for it to show the rest of the things I’ve typed. I’ve tried disabling autocorrect, extra keyboards, predictive typing, etc. but no luck. Anyone else?

I’m getting a Series 9 watch (most likely 45mm) and I’m torn between starlight and silver. I haven’t had an AW since my series 3 Watch and I loved grabbing some leather bands off of Amazon.

Looking for bands for this new watch, I’m finding several of the leather bands I like don’t come with starlight connectors but silver instead (yes, I’ve found several in starlight but I’m curious here).

So here’s my question - how bad does the starlight look if getting a leather band with a silver connector that’s visible?

For reference on my other jewelry - platinum diamond ring, low key on any other jewelry (don’t wear much) but and white gold or silver looking for most any other jewelry (handful of items with a yellow gold metal look).

I recently bought a standing desk - I moved the watch to my ankle while I’m using it so I could track my standing minutes. I’ve been standing for the last 30 minutes and it’s tracked 5 of them. I know stand -hours- have been a historical issue, do minutes have the same problem?

i just bought the M1 Pro 13.3” 2020 (16 RAM and 512 SSD) and i am highly doubting my decision. i am seeing almost the same prices for newer MBs and im just wondering if i should stick with it or not.

i had my mind pretty much set on a Pro instead of an Air, but honestly not even sure about that anymore. i do think the 13” or the 14” would be best fitted for me. im also seeing very minor changes in the m1 vs m2 reviews, but i would like it to be as future proof as possible.

i have never had a macbook before so im not even sure if i’ll be liking the touchbar, but i do think its a nice feature.

I recently purchased the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I’m having major issues with the predictive text. When I hit spacebar to enter a predicted word, it’s only adding half of that word to my text message/ or any time I text for that matter.. seems like the keyboard is a bit touchy as well.

I reset the keyboard in general settings, and also performed a hard reset on the phone, but no luck. Is anyone else having the same issue and if so, have you figured out a solution other than going to an android lol jk.

It’s just taking a lot longer than it used to to send a a message, I figured upgrading my phone would make this process easier, and not more difficult..

So recently my mom has given me the opportunity to buy a iPhone 11, and in return she will give me her iPhone 14 pro max. This sounds like a great deal and I took it, but everywhere I’ve searched they are about $300 if not more. Anyone know where or how I can get them cheaper?
