I’m very new to Apple and wanted to start making life easier by easing into the Apple ecosystem entirely. Recently purchased an Ultra Watch as well and it’s AMAZING. As I was browsing through the apps however, I noticed that I can add my Drivers License to the Wallet app. If I was to say get pulled over, could law enforcement see my info just by showing or tapping my ID with the Wallet app? Just curious as to its purpose in daily life. Thanks!

I've been thinking if there's a way to control my speakers input source with the apple TV remote. I currently have a set od Edifier R2000DB speakers and they are decent enough but their remote is quite shite. Ive managed to teach the remote volume control but is it possible to teach it signals for sound source selection? Or to cycle through optical and RCA inputs (I have my tv and turntable conncted to those speakers and I'd love to be able to switch between the optical and Line1 sources).

Any help would be appreciated!

Just thought I would share this advice with others, incase anyone has experienced similar issues. In my case I never realised this fix until I did it coincidentally!

My previous setup was a Samsung tv, Samsung soundbar (connected to tv via Bluetooth) and Apple TV.

I was constantly getting HDCP errors when using certain apps on Apple TV, with the only way to resolve it resetting/rebooting the TV or switching it off at the mains. I tried various settings and HDMI cables and nothing helped at all.

Recently I switched to the HomePod minis in replace of my soundbar and to my surprise, the issue has completely gone away since this.

My conclusion being that having my soundbar connected via Bluetooth to the TV must have caused some incompatibility with HDCP and it was something I never considered, hopefully by sharing this it may help someone else!

I have had my aw 7 for just under a year now. It’s at 93% max capacity. Is that normal? Seems like it is fairly excessive seeing as lots of people still use aw4. Is theirs at 60%?

The lowest level of brightness on iPhone can only be achieved (afaik) if you turn on the Zoom feature under Accessibility and then use the “Low Light” option under “Zoom Filter”. Why is it that this level of brightness is strictly available to people who use the Zoom feature? Isn’t it easy to see times when people would want to lower their brightness without also wanting to use the Zoom feature? This seems like a massive design flaw. Why would they not just allow the brightness to go down to the lowest possible level without the use of “Low Light”? Or make “Low Light” separate from the Zoom feature.

I constantly turn on and off the Zoom feature on my phone so I can use the Low Light feature. Why not just make Low Light a widget that can be added to the control center. Surely the designers at Apple didn’t just look this over.

Everyday when I wake up my watch is telling me “your bpm was between X and X longer than 10 minutes below 40”

I didn’t really payed to much attention on it, until I googled it. I see a lot of mix answers; It’s dangerous, it’s healthy, it’s a sport heart, go to the doctor.

Does anyone has the same?

When I go to turn my volume down completely in the control centre, 90% of the time, it raises again all on its own. I have to keep coming back to swipe it all the way down again about 3 times each time.

I turned off the attention-aware features as this was suggested to be the reason, but it hasn’t fixed it.

Does this happen to anyone else or how can I fix it?

We have two Apple tv’s, they are both syncronized so If one download an app the other one has it automatically downloaded, How can i make them not syncronize? And If i don’t like the change How can i turn it back on? And what will be changed?

I have noticed a huge difference in battery life when switching between 4G and 5G. My iPhone on 5G gives me approx 7-8 hours battery life with approx 5 hours of screen on time. Switching to 4g, I get 9-12 hours battery life with 7-8 hours screen on time. ps: Instagram, Youtube, Pinterest, Reddit are my primary data consumers.

Hi, I have MacBook Air 2017 with macOS Monterey and yesterday I bought iPad 9th gen. I am trying to connect them thru Bluetooth and airdrops but none of them work, I get "pairing unsuccessful MacBook Air is not supported" warning. Both devices seem have the latest updates, how can I solve this problem?

As shown in the screenshot, for some reason the interaction buttons are extremely small on the twitter app on my new iPhone 15 Pro Max. I’ve tried increasing font size in twitter settings but this doesn’t affect the size of the like/retweet icons. Have also tried increasing text size iOS-wide in the main phone settings but this also hasn’t had an effect.

Does anyone else have a 15 Pro Max and has experienced something similar? Are there any fixes? Thank you!
