The other day, I spilled a little water on the back of my 13 pro max. One of the camera lenses is completely broken out so I was worried, but I dried it off and everything was fine.

A few days later, I noticed the iOS camera app wasn’t working unless I turned the camera to “selfie” mode. I can still take perfect photos via Snapchat, but if it’s via the native camera app, I just get a black screen.

The camera is a fairly big part of my job. Any ideas what’s going on or some troubleshooting?

Upgraded from 12 pro to 15 Plus. And it’s disappointing

Looking to make the jump from Android to Apple but curious what model and size to get?

I'm on my phone a lot so I like the size of my s21+.

I do already have a MacBook air and airpods so I figured getting an iPhone made more sense than another android phone.

I know it’s supposed to be water resistant, but do I need to do anything?

I forgot the phone was in my waistband.

I grabbed it within a second and dried it off, pulled the case off, and wiped it off with an electronic wipe. Blew water form the port.

All functions seem to be working fine.

I was afraid of this, when I bought my 15PM. Traveled to Chile, and what would have been a quick transaction at the Entel store ended in disappointment. Apparently you need a Chilean ID to purchase an eSIM. Fortunately, I brought a pixel 3 I can hotspot, and takes a nano sim, but it’s something of a hassle. My only regret so far.

I need help, family member passed and need to get into his phone. It is locked with a passcode, phone was reset so can’t use Siri. Does someone know a way?

Somehow I have access to AppleTV+… yet I am not subscribed, haven’t been billed, and have no subscription showing under “manage subscriptions”. Anyone else experience this?

Why does every update seems to change functionality of the side button? Now it does not start the workout since the update. Or is it just me.

Apple Watch Series 5. Recently the always on display isn’t showing the watch face or whatever app was open when I rest my wrist - instead it’s showing a black screen with white digital time. I’ve searched the settings, I’ve closed all apps, I can’t figure out why it isn’t showing a dimmed watch face. Any help would be appreciated.

It looks much more premium to me, titanium just gives off aluminum vibes to me and it feels very cheap compared to the stainless steel on the 14P.

1 day old white 12 mini.

I am learning to do Zone 2 Training where I have to keep my heart rate in Zone 2. AFIK, the Apple Watch does not give alerts by sound or vibration when I set up the low/high numbers. Has anyone successfully set this up or can confirm it's not possible?

Today, my watch (series 7, only 12 months old) battery just died. I normally get a full day without needing a charge. It depleted very quickly, so I gave it a charge for an hour but it dropped again very quickly and went right down to zero. I put it on charge again and left it for a while. I’ve come back to it now not turning on, it is now only flashing the Apple logo and when I took it off charge it was very warm. Can I assume it is knackered?

Anyone else annoyed by how the iPhone 15 pro is being marketed? They are really just milking the whole “it’s titanium” thing, when they really should focus on 8 gb of ram, A17 pro chip, and fluid 120hz display. Maybe it’s just me.

As title states, my gf lost her phone and can't figure out her Apple ID. I know zero about the Iphone world.

So, I have several thoughts and ask for opinions on it:

Otterbox and any other case without a micro fabric = bad because it can damage/scratch the back.

iPhone silicone case bad because it’s edges are too low to protect the screen (specially when using a screen protector)

Mous good because airoshock material surrounding the phone but BAD because it’s so tight, putting on or removing the case can damage the phone. This Con goes to every other super tight case. Also, several complaints on Reddit from users who got their case replaced after months because it was damaged.

Clear cases yellow and no micro fabric.

What am I going for when I want: micro fabric, good/decent protection? No issue paying more when I get more in return.

My phones having some troube charging these days and wondering if theres an easy fix for this? just takes alot of wiggling around to start charging. its suddenly gotten worse since like last week. definitely not the cable as other devices work fine.
