Resident evil Village review for the iPhone 15 pro.

As the title says, my find my location services aren’t working. I have a lot of friends locations and one of my friends location isn’t working, giving “location not found” as if their location is turned off. Did verify that their location is turned on and other friends who have their location show that their location is updating.

Tried turning my phone on and off, turning off my location, airplane mode, removing and resharing our locations again, and nothing worked. Only thing that I could come up with is that I am running the iOS 17.2 beta and they have base iOS 17.1.

Is anyone else running iOS 17.2 beta and having similar problems, and is there any way to revert my iOS down to 17.1?

Got the iPhone 15 Pro in Natural Titanium, after over 5 years of using the OnePlus 6

I had been an Android user my whole life, got my first one ~11 years ago in 2012.

- What are some iPhone features I should know about? I'm still getting used it, since I used android phones for so long :)

- What should I look out for so that the phone lasts a long time?

I already bought a case, a screen protector and also a camera cover thing.

That is, the message gets sent unless I physically reset the countdown timer, probably like a week or a two delay. Now, in the case I do not make it alive, there will be no one to reset the countdown and then it gets sent to the recipients that I already put down. So, I want to know if there is any such service or website where I can do that. I will be grateful for alll your ideas and suggestions.

I text fast, but it seems lately a letter gets past the text "line" and it gets pushed further and I can't type anything til I have to go back and start all over again. Sometimes it happens consecutively, I turned off predictive and slide to text.

I am from the States and went to Columbia for a couple of weeks last year. I had to reset my phone while there. I’ve been back in the US for over a year. Periodically ever since, my iPhone messages app has, when someone in the US texts me, instead of putting me back into the existing conversation, has created a new conversation with them, myself, and myself with a +1(xxx)xxx-xxxx version of my phone number. When I reply, my friend gets a reply, but I do too as a recipient. I formatted my phone last year and it stopped, but then I just got a text from a friend who I hadn’t texted with since before my trip, and it did the same thing. iPhone SE 2020; 16.6.1, though this has been through several era software updates. Which one would you buy& why?

The new Apple TV supports QMS VRR (Quick Media Switching, Variable Refresh Rate) so that when switching from one framerate to another (like 24 to 60Hz) there isn’t a screen blackout.

However, changing resolution or dynamic ranges, still result in blackouts. But why?

I’m thinking this is an HDMI limitation/issue, but why is this not a problem for iPhones or built in apps?

All of a sudden my Apple TV remote can not control My tvs volume control. I went into settings, changed it a few times from hdmi to IR, even had it match my remote which I've never done before. It said the match worked but it still didn't control the tv. Switched back to IR and hdmi twice to see if it would kick back in, restated the Apple TV a we times, nothing. Any advice?

I realize I can search within Maps from Spotlight, but am I missing something whereas it doesn’t seem to give me the option to open the app fresh? It can only search within the Maps app?

Am I just stupid?

On apple’s website, it says both the 14” and 16” have up to 22 hrs, but is there one that lasts longer based on real life tests?

I recently switched to iPhone 15 Pro, and even though I have only owned Samsung phones in the past 10 years or so, I always follow up with apple, and they really won me with the 15 Pro, with the USB-C, dynamic island, always on display and the action button (I know aod and di were in the 14 pro but the lighting and no customizable button was a deal breaker.

I really love my 15 Pro and I feel like I want to keep for real longtime, maybe until iPhone next big thing?

For example (imo) the year of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus was a huge jump for apple that usually don’t take big risky moves like this which is exactly why the bendgate was a thing, because apple take tiny steps prioritizing quality (at least most of the time). It was the opposite of whatever iPhone was supposed to be and I loved it!

Innovation comes with risks and set backs. But I was wondering with the spread of foldable phones in recent years, and I am pretty sure Apple will follow up once they are ready, and I am pretty sure it would be well thought and crafted before any public release (i hope), unlike samsung’s first foldable that was very experimental and rough which was inspiring how big of a risk Samsung was ready to take regardless the outcome (can argue the similarity with iPhone 6 line up)

Do you think we will get foldable iPhones any time soon? (Or whatever other new technology they wanna come up with)?

How do you dipshits do anything on a shitty apple device withOUT a fucking pop up or ad being shoved down your throat. Unlike apple, android actually HAS working ad blockers that are FREE btw

just got a new 15 pro and did a data transfer from my 12. everything's fine except the only bluetooth devices that show up under "my devices" are apple and beats products. i can't connect to any other devices from non-apple related brands. not even showing up under "other devices". but on my iphone 12 they all show up. help?

edit: i've already tried rebooting, resetting network settings, rebooting the bluetooth device

I was clearing out my phone to get some storage space and i accidentally deleted an important photo .

Is it possible to have a photo only in one album other than the recents album?

I'd like to store photos in one album and not have them appear in the recents one. What I'm currently doing is moving the photos out of recents and into the album I want. However, whenever I delete the photo from the recents album, it also deletes the one stored in the other album I've made.

I'd rather not have the photos I'm taking appear in the recents album.

I tried to ask a similar question earlier in the week, but the mods took it down.

I'm upgrading from a S5 that I've had for about a year now, and I knew I'd upgrade once the top of the line came down in price, which they did.

I wouldn’t be too worried but my husband got one too and his came charged and turned on right when he opened the computer.

I had to put mine on the charger right away and then it turned on but it’s at no charge…should I be concerned or see how it goes?
