What web browser do you use on your watch? Ideally free as I’ll be using for casual browsing, but open to paid if it’s worth it. Currently have 2nd Gen SE 40mm

I am running tvOS 17.2 (21K5341f) Beta. There seems to be a problem when trying to use speech recognition to populate the search field. Whenever I push the microphone button on the side of the Apple remote, it doesn’t seem to be getting through to the searchable field. It’s just activating the Siri function in general. Is there any way to change this?

I hate the huge camera module of my 14 pro since day one. Its so ugly and disturbing. And the size is also a thing… i remember the iphone 8 back in the day. i got it in white without a case and i never dropped it because it was the right size for me. It was my best iphone experience in past years. But with the 14 pro… to use a 1400€ phone without a case (and without apple care) is kinda insane in view of the resale value… And the glossy rails look also very smudged in seconds…
Sure, the 15 pro is a lot nicer, but i want a iphone i could use without a case and insurance without fear of „throwing away“ 1400€ …..

Has anyone swapped a 14 Pro to a 12/13 Mini? Whats your verdict? Have you regretted it?

Thought I’d buy it and give it a try since it claims to catch your sleep without sleep focus on.

Checked my health app out after setting it up and all the days going back since I got my watch are like this. Apparently I slept while driving to work.

Any way to remove these entries easily? Or do I need to uninstall the app?

Hi, everyone I have a problem regarding my phones touch screen as you can see 3 vertical stripes do not work. It started two days ago with the stripe on the left as I noticed I can't swipe right to go back, I didn't drop it or anything since the first stripe appearance nor did I drop it before the first stripe.Next day morning the rightmost stripe appeared and then the middle one that appeared for a while in the morning fixed itself and reappeared in the evening. Sometimes in the last year I grabbed it with wet hand in the shower to answer a call but it was for a few seconds/ a minute and then I always cleaned it with a towel. Also the batt percentage is really low as you can see on second picture.

My question is may it be connected to overall state of batt as in too low percentage health and it starts to not function properly ? Or maybe the screen is dying and that's the issue ?

I am able to get parts for replacement and replace the batt and screen myself but would like to know before that there might be possibility not to replace the screen which is in overall perfect condition.

(Yes I know that batt posts are not allowed but its not strictly about batt health thanks for understanding)

This seems to be an ongoing issue with iOS 17. I thought it was fixed with 17.1 but issues seems to come back. Sometimes screen doesn’t respond to touch or seems slow. Also getting stuttering when swiping how sometimes. Anyone else?

I interviewed a participant in my study yesterday and recorded the whole thing using my iPhone. The recording lasted 46 minutes, and as I'm about to transcribe it now I keep pressing the play icon but it just greys out and won't play. I then went over to my mac and tried to play it there and it did but the problem this time around is that it's only 25 seconds long. What happened to the rest?!

Troubleshooting I've done so far:

• Restart my phone twice.
• Double checked if my IOS is updated. It is.
• Check if the other recordings are playable and they are.
• Checked voice memos in the iphone settings.

Please help me. This is for my research for my masters and the data I gathered is really important. Thank you in advance .

Has anyone got any recommendations for slightly smaller glass screen protectors for a 15 pro max. The edges of my case just overhang a tiny bit which lifts the protector and makes air bubbles.

I have a 44mm SE2 and have a silicone band. I like the look of those best but they aren’t very breathable. Are there any others that are better fit for a tight wrist? I have a M/L band and am on the last notch of the band. Side question, is there anywhere to find larger bands? Like an L/XL? I think that would help aswell but all I’ve found is one $50 black band on apple, nowhere else. Any help or suggestions would help appreciated!

I really need a new phone case

my beloved early 2015 macbook pro decided to crash yesterday and i’m not sure it’s gonna be coming back to me alive. this might be a dumb question but do you think it’s worth purchasing a new macbook (probably the cheapest air) or explore other options as a student strapped for cash. i don’t really know much about computers but i was impressed by how long my 2015 lasted and i wasn’t sure if they’re still known to last as long nowadays. if they start to crash like 3 years in i’d rather buy a cheaper one which would last about the same you know? i also had the ability to upgrade individual parts of my 2015 macbook (which def helped keep it running smoothly for as long as it did) but i know that’s not possible with the current models bc everything’s soldered down so that adds to the worry that itll die on me in a few short years. i don’t know what laptop i would get other than a macbook tho so id have to do additional research on that too.. for reference im a student and mostly used my laptop for school work/general personal use and the occasional premier pro/lightroom project. any guidance is appreciated!!

Another update complaint - LOL. Basically, we used to be able to swipe up from the Lock Screen and find our phones quickly using the little phone icon in the home center. How do we do this now? I’m having to go onto find my iPhone and the whole process is a bit tedious as sometimes I just drop my phone somewhere and just need a tone to ring.

I dropped my iPhone 12 in the grass earlier today and then it just didn't turn on so I went home to charge it but it won't go past the Apple logo. I've tried clicking the buttons on the side like all of the websites told me to do but it won't even go to the other screen where it tells me to plug it into Mac and even when I do plug into Mac (without it telling me to) it still doesn't work. Is there any other way to fix my Phone?

My iPhone 6 that is on IOS 12 ran out of juice and it stopped working. I charged it with 2 different usb-c chargers and ports but it is still not turning on. CAN SOMEONE PLS HELP

So I’m hopefully buying the new Pro iPhone soon, but I’m confused with the charging aspect - is getting an Apple charger necessary with USB-C?

Currently have an iPhone 13 Pro, deadass upgrading because of its battery. I think getting an Anker charger was the problem. It was that Nano 20W brick, phone gets mad hot even if it’s doing nothing but charging with it. I’d think it’s because it wasn’t an Apple Certified charger.

Is this bs real? And does the USB-C standard fix this issue as Apple has no control over the port anymore? What charger should I get?

I have the same number on my current android, i have my exes iphone that is still on my plan, same number but i can change it. I factory reset it and it has a new apple id on it. My friend is using it, but im wondering if the messages between me and my ex are still on the iphone, i can still see all the messages on my phone.

I don’t see many options other than the Ocean, Alpine loop and Trail Loop. I would like to see more steel, titanium band options but Apple Branded but not 3rd party stuff.
