Hi, today I (finally) received my new iPhone 15 Pro Max from Apple in Italy and now I'm looking for a case to protect my device. The color is natural titanium, so I wanted to keep it visible with a clear case: Unfortunately, Apple's clear case shows off their (horrible to me) MagSafe ring: I know, there are no clear magnets so it's a necessity, but mine almost use only for MagSafe to line it up for charging on my Belkin BoostCharge Pro 3in1 (the "flat" model).

Having said this, I found only two brands that produce completely transparent covers: Totallee & Peel. Ok, so what's the problem (you might think)? The main problem is that EVERY product that meets my desires is not available on Amazon or in other shops in the EU, so the main way to buy them is directly from their website with an even more important price because they add for abroad other taxes, customs and shipping from the United States. And in any case I'm a little afraid of leaving my new iPhone without protection for about 2-3 weeks to receive their cases.

Do you know of any similar products (clear, no MagSafe ring, no logo, possibly thin) that I can purchase more easily in the European Union?

Wife has series 9, I've got Ultra2. Txt msg is recieved. Wake on wrist raise is set on both. Txt is received, raise wrist, ultra opens the msg for reading. Double tap turns on microphone to dictate a reply, double tap again sends reply. The 9 on wrist raise doesn't open the txt. Gotta be a setting right? Any thoughts? Thanks!

I am having a tough time deciding which Apple watch to get, I keep going back and forth between the Series 9 and the Ultra 2. I currently have a series 6 that I bought brand new when it came out and the battery capacity is now at 82%. It is also only GPS and I would like to upgrade to a watch with cellular. I originally got the watch at the recommendation of my electrocardiologist for the ECG abilities and I use the health features regularly.

So again, the reason for upgrade is a watch with cellular, but I would also like a better battery life. I am a fairly small woman, and my series 6 is the 44 inch sized screen, I think I could handle going up to larger sizes though. I am not an outdoorsy type of person and when I exercise it is nearly always indoors but I am a little bit seduced by the better battery life of the ultra 2 - especially since I want a cellular watch this time. However, I have seen conflicting information as to whether or not the health data is better on the series 9 or the Ultra 2.

Anyway, this is all to ask, which would you all get? Below is a pic of my current watch on my wrist. Thanks!

I find it very annoying that iPhone 15s from all around the world have physical sims, the ones in Hong Kong have 2 but in USA they don’t… what is the reason for this? When I’m spending $1400 on a damn phone I want a physical sim tray too as it will be a great help when I’m traveling out the country.

Is there any reason for this? Apple sometimes does dumb things without context.

Hello. What can be cause that custom ringtone made using garageband from mp3 is playing fine when selecting, but is not played when email arrives?

I haven't been subbed here for a while, but it seems that the majority agrees that you should have at least one of these turned on, that is either framerate or dynamic range. Although, what if your average consumer just leaves these options off and never bothers to go in the menu to turn em on, would the average viewer be satisfied?

it’s finally here!! the day I’m changing from Windows to Mac. It’s an MBA M2 base model. Got it refurbished with only 6 CC for $900. Since this is my first, any tips and tricks or useful shortcuts or recommendation apps pleaseee?

I meditate and I want to turn on a mindful minute session when I start meditating and end it when I’m done.

The apps I’ve tried all have presets like 15 / 30 min but I just want an open ended one, with unlimited time.

I want to start it from my Watch and not log them after wards in the health app

They are unguided so the app has to be free, it’s just simple a simple start stop session which logs to apple health.

Bonus if it also monitors some data like heart rate

Any suggestions?

Probably will get a macbook air late next year

• invitations always lost in the ether. Like always.
• no way to prevent adding duplicate photos into an album
• no like/comment notifications (I checked, the setting is on
• no way to let others invite more people to the album
• default sort is by added date… I can kinda see this but really any time after first viewing the pics you want them chronologically
• no iCloud.com support. I guess I should expect this, I’m not sure what iCloud.com is even for lol

I know iOS 17 was recently released, but what would you like to see in iOS 18?

I would like them to update mail, everyone knows that Apple works best with their own products, apps, etc, and obviously Mail is better integrated with the Apple ecosystem, but the app sucks.

Before I got my current iPhone 8 in august 2018. I had a iPhone 6 that suddenly went to activation lock. It was Late August 2018 when it happened. I couldn’t get pass the lock so I had to replace my phone. To this day I don’t know how it happen in the first place. I’m always worried that it could happen to my current phone so I’m trying to figure out the cause to give me a piece of mine. I have some theories

The first theory was that it happen because I didn’t update my phone for a while and it suddenly it updated without my permission. I had just plug it in to charge it since it was dead and somehow when it restarted, it automatically began updating. I heard that it wasn’t uncommon that people who got the update got locked too.

The second theory was it was caused by find my iPhone. Maybe my mom accidentally marked it as lost(my phone was hers before she gave it to me).

The third was that it was a result of when i accidentally broke the screen a couple of earlier. It was repaired and was working fine but maybe the software glitch out from the breakage or the resulting repairs.

Could of any of them been possible or was something else?

There needs to be a major update to Siri, it can barley do anything

She’s hardly on her phone like me so I don’t want to get her anything crazy so I was thinking the newest SE. She loves using my phone for pictures/videos/Facetime/etc so I think it’s time to upgrade her. What would you guys recommend for a first time iPhone user?

What information is necessary to compromise an iPhone?

Hi! I did a quick search but couldn’t not find a specific answer. I have a Philips 55OLED807 which has 2x HDMI 2.1 and 2x HDMI 2.0, One of the HDMI 2.1 is also the dedicated eARC port. I have both HDMI 2.1 with a PS5 and a Dolby Atmos soundbar, leaving me with the other 2 HDMI 2.0 ports. Will I be missing something (feature wise) if I use the Apple TV on those ports?

Are there any other watch bands out there good for scuba diving that will fit over a wetsuit other than the Ocean Band and Ocean Band extension? I don't wanna have to shell out the 100 USD plus 50 USD just for scuba diving.

I have an SE 2020 that’s been great for the 3 or 4 years I’ve had it (no damage, it’s been in a lifeproof case it’s entire life), but a week ago the touchscreen started not responding to touch until you did a hard reset then everything goes back to normal, sometimes you gotta hard reset it twice in a row for it to work. I ordered a new SE 2022 for full price but I’m gonna send it back and get the cheaper priced SE 2022 through straight talk, but I’m gonna have to wait 60 days after getting it to use it cause my plan is through Verizon. Anyway, anyone have this issue and know how I might go about resolving it? Thanks

I have used a couple off Amazon in the past but ended up taking them off because the constant presence of the bubbles that show up annoy me more than the risk of getting a scratch. I have a friend who payed for one at the Apple Store and it lasted without bubbles for a few months but eventually got one.

Is there actually one out there you can pay more for that lasts and doesn’t get the bubbles? Or is it really an impossible ask?
