I bought an Apple Watch from a co-worker that is currently in a metal housing / band. I’m having trouble removing the screws that house the watch and don’t want to damage anything. The screws seem like they don’t want to give and I don’t want strip them trying. Any advice ?

Just got the new iphone 15 Pro Max a week ago. I can't get any images from certain phones/people I guess. I had a Galaxy s22 traded for the new iphone 15 pro max. my friend and boyfriend still has the Galaxy s22 and I can't get images from any of them I receive messages just fine it's just images. I have done all the necessary steps been to Verizon twice and called Apple support. Has anyone else had this same issue??? if so please help!! I have tried absolutely everything.

I have recorded a video with the front facing camera of the iphone 14 pro in cinematic mode and when trying to play it in the Photos app I get this error and the phone heats up:

It doesn't Airdrop to my Macbook either, gives me an error in the middle of the transfer.

I managed to transfer the clip to my MBP via USBc and it doesn't play there either. Only if I go to Edit Video in the Photos app on MBP, then it starts playing but the image is in slow-mo and pixelated. I can't use that as it's too slow and has that type of pixels that I used to see back in the days when you needed video codecs installed to play videos.

I also tried to duplicate it the file, removed the depth completely, re-saved it and the same thing.

I have 2 such clips, recorded one after the other, both with the same issue.

Does anybody know what to do or has anybody seen this before?

I accidentally deleted a game that wasn’t backed up and hoping by deleting my account and reinstalling where my last back up was it will fix it.

Will I lose anything by doing this?

This sub might be replete with these questions but I do hope that doesn’t bother you too much :) I have been meaning to get the AW S9 but the U2 was too enticing not to give a try. I do wish it came in a smaller size for some of us, but the longer battery life is something I would really benefit from. I have owned an AW SE2 and am looking for an upgrade. Do let me know if you think it looks good :)

I have both the Microsoft Outlook app and the general email app installed on my iPhone 15 pro Max. Within the last week or so, I’m constantly getting pushes to reenter my password on both applications. Password is correct and it works for a few hours and then have to reenter again.

Anyone else experiencing this issue? If not, I’ll reach out to Apple support and respond back here with what they say.

On saturday I took delivery of this package - the order was done directly through Apple's UK website and the tracking was all legit. I got confirmation emails from apple and tracking details through DPD, everything as you would expect.

Once my package arrived, as you can see in my Imgur Gallery, I immediately knew it wasn't right.
I opened the box and the first thing I notice is the screen protector, first thoughts were, had I been sent a return?
The next thing I notice when I turn it on, the screen isnt right, it lights up the black area in a way that is clearly not OLED and the bottom has a 'Chin' which suggests this is not correct for the phone.
Once I turned it on I was greeted with a very poor setup process and I immediately clocked that it was an android device in a skin. It may have convinced my Grandad but I could tell very quickly (especially when I saw actual android toasts popping up in some cases)
I managed to skip all the setup screens and get into the phone. It has facebook, youtube and tiktok installed already, the OS is glitchy and horrible, the camera is like a slideshow and crashes if you try to use any UI element on screen.

My main worry with this is that there are many people out there getting these phones and some may think it's legit and then login to them using their apple IDs, facebook accounts, google etc etc. The phone is a match to the spec I ordered, Pro Max in natural titanium. Why go to the effort of matching my order is my question. Are they hoping to get on my wifi network or get login details for things? What if I tried to setup apple wallet? The app is there on the home screen when I open it.

Before anyone asks, yes I have a ticket open with Apple support and they will be getting back to me soon. I can update in comments if anyone is interested in the resolution to this issue.
Mainly I wanted to try and get this out there as a warning. If you do recieve anything like this, dont let it on your wifi network and dont login to it on anything, god knows what it could be hooked up to do.

Anyone got any ideas as to how this was achieved? I've been speculating with friends already. At first I thought DPD did the switch but they assure me that the box was sealed properly and so it was never opened or tampered with so couldnt of been them... Then I thought it might be at the supplier end? What's crazy to me is that the whole delivery was trackable through the apple website and the tracking number on the box and everything matched so the process wasn't broken at all from apple's side either. Very interesting.

Anyways TLDR: I got an Android phone dressed as an iPhone that I ordered brand new direct from apple. It could be a scam to get my data - beware with your new phone purchases!

I traded my 13 for 15+ around 16th oct .. I transferred all my data to 15+ and logged out of my iCloud account and reset my 13.. but why does it show last iCloud back on 24th oct ?

I was looking at some Black Friday deals and saw the 15” Air with 512/16 at $1499 from Best Buy (and $1439 from Apple Refurb). Is it worth it over a $1350 refurbished M1 Pro? I like the 15” form factor but it’s so hard to choose when the M1 Pro is right there in terms of price point.

Hi all, I have an old iPhone 6s and was wondering if an Apple Watch Series 6, 7 or 8 are "compatible".

I will mostly use it for the ECG function, but I've read somewhere that, the irregular rhythm notification will not be visible unless on the latest iOS, but since the iPhone is still on iOS 15, I have doubts if it works.

Does anyone knows it?

I recently got a new apple watch and set it up, it stopped working and I was suggested to reset it..

I did that and now my iphone is "searching" for it constantly, I was advised to remove the device on icloud but the watch does not show there.... is there a fix for this?

Anyone know what this issue might be? None of the family accounts have cards tied to their devices and I am unable to update my card nor remove my card. Apple Genius Bar couldn’t help and support hasn’t called me back. It’s been a week and things are starting to lapse.

I travel a lot and have rarely succeeded in saving my streak… I read many posts here and wanted to see if I can save it this time.

My upcoming flight is one that takes off on the West Coast 11:55 pm on Sunday and lands in Asia 6:00 am on Tuesday. Since I don’t have a Monday on land at all, I’ll try to reach all my goals en route.

My plan is to lower all my active/stand/exercise goals to the minimum, and do some airplane yoga to reach my reduced streak requirement on Monday (Pacific Time). When I land on Tuesday, it should still consider my Monday as completed, despite my watch having to skip over a couple of hours.

Would this work?

Is there no Lock Screen on workouts anymore?

My Macbook Air M1 is used for a year and a couple of month, and batter is already 78% while showing service needed.

Is this normal 185 cycles only and battery already needs to be replaced?
