I want to upgrade my phone for my upcoming birthday from the XR, served me very well for exactly three years since I got one for my birthday too

I'm torn between new 15(common/plus) and used 14 pro now, they cost very similar in my region.

I am mostly concerned about battery life on the 14 pro, will it be relatively good comparing to the 15 which doesn't have promotion display (it's kind of a not a big deal for me, but it's attractive to have 120 hz display anyways..)

And for camera, i don't really know if camera is much better on the 14 pro and if it all worth it, what do you think?

Hi guys. When I try to transfer the photos from my iPhone to my Windows computer, there are always problems. This action was much more straightforward with my previous Android devices, I really miss that. Has anyone else had problems like this and found a workaround? There is software available for purchase that helps here. Do you have any experience with it?

have 2 of these in my collection with iphones and accessories all inside all new original still from over 15 years ago. Both iphones run on IOS 3.0 and they dont have built in icloud yet. Icloud came out with 3gs models.

but recently i read article that iphone 3g white box is incredibly hard to find. I tried on ebay. Could not find any.

Ones i have are in new shape. Do u think they will be worth alot more in future? I mean u can find any iphone and boxes even 1st iPhones and their boxes all over ebay mainly but this iphone 3g white box seems to be the rarest. Anyone else has this box in their collection? And any thoughts on the subject?

How can I force an app providing me with (haptic) notifications when my watch is in sleep mode?

I tried inserting the app in the list of apps excluded from muting in focus settings in my iPhone both in DoNotDisturb and in Sleep, enabled syncing across devices. However when the notification comes, it only appears on my iPhone screen and my watch being in Sleep Focus remains dark.

What I want to do is exclude HomeKit from muting so that I can get activity notifications from my security cameras even when I am asleep, in the same way I get alarms with haptic notifications on my wrist.

Had a motorcycle accident and I know the watch is still working. The screen can be replaced but my only concern is the crown. It’s a series 6. I just want to fix it for cheap and give it away.

Does anybody know why the smallest bar for the mobile signal is blinking? Adding a photo, can’t add a short video though. It blinks from this dark grey to a lighter grey, but still darker than the other three bars.

I OFFLOADed my Whatsapp from my Iphone.
When I reinstalled it he immediately asked whether to download the back up from ICLOUD, I pressed yes – and it turns out the last back up was 3 months ago…

How can I bring back those 3 missing months of messages? Weren’t OFFLOADing supposed to save the date and documents of the app?!

Shattered back of my sturdy titanium phone…. Going on 13 days post an approved device replacement..

After the 10 day mark, I unlocked the rare senior specialist achievement. After 20 min on hold tech noted there were a large influx of device replacements… and stock could not be kept up..

Also noted that a new batch of repair devices should be shipped tonight.. if anyone is in the same boat.. fingers crossed.

To also note, prior older generation replacements have been a breeze.. few day wait for shipping. First “delayed” experience..

Hello, I am trying to pair my old Apple Watch to my new phone. I no longer have access to my old Apple ID, phone, or phone number that my watch was connected to, hence it is in activation lock. Does anyone know how to bypass/jailbreak it?? Thank you!

It would be great to have more than one gesture available. For example, double tap could open the smart stack and triple tap could open notifications. Or double tap could scroll the smart stack, and triple tap could select a widget.

Is it worth buying a refurbished MacBook Pro rn? I’m considering buying the MacBook Pro M2 one cuz they’re not available anymore on apple’s website (brand new MacBook Pro). The refurbished one would be 500$ cheaper than a brand new one (as of Oct. 2023). My question here is if it’s still worth buying it or not cuz the probability that I’ll get now a used one/ I’ll get a Mac that was tortured for almost a year is higher than getting a “brand new” one or just a Mac that was used for couples of weeks. Because of the release of the M3 this makes me feel like I’ll get a “used” Mac. If you know what I mean. Please let me know. Like imagine someone just run some high performance programs on that mac for a half of a year straight. I feel that mac will not feel “as new” and be “as new” after such a torture. Please let me know

Soooo apparently this guys phone was stolen and his find my phone pinged to my house. So two cops come to my door. I obvs don’t have it but offered to help etc. I checked my front and bakc yards in case someone chucked it. Then a few mins later the guys watch pings to the house next door instead, which is absolutely wrong as well. The guy was very nice and showed me tthe tracker on his watch, it had my exact address as location. Has this happened to anyone else?? Wtf

I’ve searched for this to no avail, but how do I get the App Store to stop suggesting dating apps to me? I’d love to see other ones like photography/camera apps instead. Is my request even possible?

I’ve noticed some people posting about screen mirroring being blocked when connecting to a usb-c enabled monitor, or using AirPlay.

You can bypass this with a USB-c docking station that has an HDMI port. Since the connection is to the dock and not directly to the screen, it simply thinks you are plugging an accessory in and does not block any of the streaming options like it would with a direct connection. I have been watching Netflix shows using this method for the last month since I purchased an Anker docking station on Amazon for $20.

I made it a few days ago and released to the app store but don't have an iPhone to test, seems to work fine on my friends 14pro but got a comment on the 15pro community that is no longer working. Could one of you kind folks help?

I happened to tap the top right of my phone to my Apple Watch, and a rainbow pattern came up and my watch and phone vibrated, does anyone know what this is? I feel like it’s gotta be an Apple Pay thing, but when I look it up, all I can find is information on the rainbow watch bands
