Not a single video in my camera roll will play. It just freezes on the first frame. Its not just when i try to play it from my camera roll, its every single app. Instagram, snapchat, and even youtube. I still have like 30gbs left in my storage, and ive reset my phone 2 times. Whats going on?

I just upgraded from the iPhone 11 to iPhone 15 Plus. All my files, apps, settings and passwords transferred perfectly.

The only issue is that I can no longer use my phone as a hotspot to connect my laptop (pc). Personal Hotspot is turned on in Settings. My iPhone appears on the list of available networks. But when I click on it, after a few seconds, it says "Can't connect to this network". Any ideas?

I’ve done the googling and I can’t find anything that helps me with this issue. I have a 2017 MacBook Pro. It’s updated to Ventura. I want to take the HD out and install an SDD. I have the HD stuff backed up on Time Machine. Problem is, when I install the SDD and plug in the external hard drive with the backup, nothing really works. The menu you get when holding down CTRL+R upon start up gives me a few options but none of them work. First you’ve got Time Machine, which will only show me a folder of backup’s from back in 2016 (not even backup data from this MacBook.) If I plug my external into a different computer you can see clear as day all the back up’s leading up to today. So why can’t I see those when trying to restore with the SDD? When I try to restore via the 2016 back up’s, I just get a spinning wheel of death.

Second, trying to re-install my Mac without a backup leads to an error message because by default it’s trying to re-download High Sierra, which I’m guessing cannot be found because it’s no longer supported by Apple or the Apple Store. The other option, Get Help Online, just tells me to do the things I’m doing that aren’t really working. Google isn’t helping me because all the answers just say “Yeah, back up your latest back up, easy as that.” What am I missing here? Is this upgrade not possible?

I’ve been using WhatsApp for sending images at its original size. Since I updated to the new version of WhatsApp for mac I can’t send images as document. If I select file option and choose any image it becomes the regular image upload. It compress the size too.

What content/AD blocker are you guys using on Safari (iOS 17)? I used to use Purify until it was abandoned. Moved on to Wipr but have found a really bad delay in opening some pages and running searches from the address bar. (Disabling Wipr makes the delays go away).

Looking for something that is a one time purchase vs. a subscription. Also, a content blocker vs. a VPN that runs all traffic through it.

Did a search on here and found 1Blocker as a frequent recommendation. But it's a subscription.

Has anyone had an issue where cards are added to your Apple watch but when you go to pay you get an error? The same cards work on my phone but won't work on my phone.

No error shows up on my watch, but all registers give me an error.

Hey everyone, I’m trying to find a good aftermarket charger and cable for my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Would like it to be fast charging. I’ve ordered cables and chargers in the past that claim to be fast charging but end up being super slow. Any recommendations on some aftermarket accessories?

Today my friend showed me his series 3 on watchos 8 and that grid view is so much better than the watchos 10 grid view on my series 9. Apparently it was like that up till watchos 9

Hi there what should I do? my problem is:

I got the new Iphone 15 pro max since few days...the phone is awesome ....however I don't like the weight....It kind of feels heavy like a brick and can't hold it for long time for phone call or one handed watching YouTube ....I know it may sound weird..........however the 15 plus feels so much lighter even it's only 20g....but I can hold it for long periods in my one hand without problem watching YouTube .....I tried it at the Apple Store....Iam in a dilemma.

my question are here any ppl who had similar experience....... is there anything I can do to get used to the pro max.....I would like to give it some time ...but I don't know if it makes sense.....I personally like the 15 plus more..just more comfortable to use. however if the pro max would feel the same I would keep it due to better specs....so that's my dilemma. money is non issue its only 200 bucks.

I know what Iam missing out on and on the differences spec wise......but 3rd camera and 120 hz is not a dealbreaker for me and I would save 200 bucks.....

My questions are :

1. Any recommendations how to get used to the pro max....? maybe some ppl felt similarly initially ?

2. do you guys think the pro max will get longer software updates ? and would run smoother years down the line I tend to keep my Iphones very long time 6 years easily. do you think the pro max due the SOC and Ram is better for longevity?

What would you do? any help is highly appreciated!!

Sorry guys, i thought i already updated my Watch OS version to the latest one but when I checked, it was on hold because it needs to be charged while updating but I don’t think I will update to 10.1.1 as it might screw up my battery life. Lol

They compared a 100w 40gb/s thunderbolt to a charging cable usb-c. I can't believe no one in that whole production team say anything. This is embarrassing. Waste of resources and FAKE NEWS.

Recently, I forgot my passcode to my iPhone and I had to erase everything on my phone in order to get back in.

I had a lot of photos on the device that were not backed up to the iCloud or any kind of storage.

Is there any chance for me to retrieve those pictures or are they lost forever? I saw that some of my recent contacts were backed up and I can see their information but I can't figure out if restoring 2 years worth of pictures is possible or not

Like the title suggests, watch os 10 has more or less ruined the apple watch experience for me. For context, i was a new apple watch user, with my first apple watch being the SE 1st gen back in january of 2022. I loved switching between the different watch faces with a simple swipe, being able to access the control center with a swipe up and opening the multitasking tab with just the press of the button underneath the crown. Even the animations felt smoother back then. Now, everytime i need to access the multitasking tab, i need to double press the crown. I hate switching between the watch faces and the animations definitely feel a bit slower compared to the previous OS version. These might seem like minor inconveniences but I don’t know, i wish i could switch back to the older version.

I spilled tea on my MacBook Air M2. At the Apple Store, they quoted the repair at 2100 Canadian dollars, more than buying a new one. The issues include non-functional sensors (ambient, camera, etc.) and marks on the screen. Apart from the camera and screen, the computer works well.

Any ideas on what to do with it would be appreciated.

silver is nice but never my favorite. deep purple is a no id like violet/purple I am torn between silver and black. wdyt guys pls help

My roomie got the new 15 pro and he gave me his XS. I had a 7, so what are cool things I can do now with the upgrade?

Sometimes apps freeze and crash, phone is crashing constantly, and restarting to this. Restarted phone 3 times already no fix.

If you had to choose between these two, would you rather have a separate case and separate screen protector, or a case that has a tempered glass screen protector film.
