My m2 MacBook air is almost always plugged in, and is set to stop charging at ~80% to save battery. I've taken it with me a couple times on the plane in the six months and as you can see it only has 27 charge cycles. That being said, I've already lost almost 10% of battery capacity. I've compared these numbers to other macs and it doesn't seem normal to me at all. Also I'm totally unimpressed with the battery life that many people talk about after switching to M processors. I have a feeling that the battery in my old macbook was much more stable and better. What should I do? Can I replace the battery under warranty? Or do I need the capacity to drop even more?

If you take these numbers into account, after 60 charge cycles my battery can be at 80% capacity (but may not, I understand). I read that "a normal battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity at 1000 complete charge cycles." And this is very veeeery far from what I see now.

I finally bought the MacBook Air M2 with 16 gb ram and 512 ssd. I think it will last awhile Thank you to all for the input.

I just got a new iPhone 15 pro max. When I take a selfie on Snapchat, the flashlight goes on for SO LONG. I’m getting blinded by the flashlight, because it flashes for 1 to 3 seconds before capturing the image. By that point I’ve seen Jesus for 3 seconds already

How can I stop this from happening? I have reduced the white points on my phone by 50% so I don’t get blinded on the daily

Thinking about getting AppleCare+ for the first time for some peace of mind.

My question is: what if after 1.5 years for example, my phone is stolen.

Let's say i had an iphone 13 with AppleCare and now it's stolen, but iphone 14,15 exists.

Will i always get a brand new 13? Or cash? Or possibly a newer model?

Hey, I'm currently on iOS 17.1.1 on a iPhone 11 Pro Max but I can't see the 80% charging limiter option. It just shows the optimized charging toggle like before. Is there a reason for it?

I just started using Autosleep instead of sleepcycle since i refuse to pay that much yearly.
But i haven't found a way to snooze with the autosleep app. Isn't there a snooze button available?
It caused me to oversleep several times lol.... If not, then the app is kinda useless tbh.
How can you have Alarm app without snooze?????????

Woke up this morning to my usual heart flutters/palps. They are worse in the morning. Decided to to an ECG on my watch. Laying on my side on the lounge. First was this, then changed my arm position, normal, placed my arm back again, AFIB. This kept going until I gave up. I went to my GP who did a proper lead test, normal. I’m booked in for a holter to be safe (post TIA) In the past I’ve had holters, heart ultrasound. All normal besides benign palps. Normal looking? Or nah? Cheers.

I just got the new iPhone 15 pro max and when I use the front camera with flash in Snapchat the snaps sometimes turn out black and white. Also sometimes the flash takes forever. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

So i purchased an iphone 13 a year ago and it has been super laggy since the last few months!
Scrolling through app drawer, search bar not loading, app crashes, camera app laggy especially in low light when it has to adjust timer, reddit scrolls, and even while switching tabs in safari!
Also, how can i forget, the most irritating experience of typing! oh god it is irritatingly laggy af!

My current storate is 120gb full out of 128 (even tried cleaning it, was lagging equally at some 50gb full as well), battery health is 87%. Please suggest me something, i am already loosing iphone vs pixel battle with my friends, the only thing i could stand for apart from video, is user experience but even it is lagging.

I got the clear magsafe case for my iPhone 15 and this case is bad I can not recommend it. For some reason its an insane dust magnet. Everytime I put my phone in my pocket for literally 2 seconds its completely covered in dust on all the edges no matter how much I clean out my pockets and wash them and whatever. All this dust then moves into the edges behind the phone, gets stuck there and over time starts to scratch my phone. I have a black iPhone 15 so it makes these scratches especially visible. Also this case is so hard and rigid. I feel like for proper protection a case should be a bit softer to absorb stress? Ive dropped the phone from like a meter 1-2 times and already have 2 little failures/dents in my glass. Luckily not on the screen itself but on the border. So yeah, can not recommend. Also wtf I spent 60€ on it like why is it so expensive lmao

I know a lot of folks say it's not necessary but I scratched the hell out of my first two AWs. So much so that it was cheaper to replace the watch than repair it. Life of a plumber, I guess. Don't really care for the big, bulky snap on ones. Have tried a lot of the little glass ones you put over the screen, they're nice but hell it takes me 10 minutes to input the code to open the thing in the morning. Scrolling through the apps is a nightmare.

Does iphone 15 (standard) support Filmic pro / black magic app?? Because I want to shoot some cinematic videos in flat profile.

I have currently a 15Pro and I’m looking for cases that have the action button covered. Many of the cases I see have just a hole, and with longer nails it’s a bit annoying to use. I have a rhinoshield solid suit and the Apple clear case and I really like those. Just looking for more options.

Does anyone have any idea why the green dot camera indicator shows off randomly then it disappears after a few seconds? I've already restarted my phone, forced restart and I also tried erasing and resetting my phone few times but nothing worked. The green dot still appears then it disappears a few seconds later. I also didn't slightly move my lockscreen to the left when I unlocked my phone, the green dot just randomly appears when I'm on homescreen without the camera being used / the camera option in my apps running in the background. I checked the control center when the green dot appeared again and it just says "camera, recently" when I literally did not open my camera. Is this a bug or is my phone compromised?

I just got my brand new iPhone 15 Pro (natural titanium). I have only used Android phones till now(Samsung galaxy). I was wondering what kind of cover would be good so that the back glass doesn't get any scratches. Also, should I go for a tempered glass? I'm using my galaxy s20 without tempered without any issues.

Also, what are some cool things I can do with iPhone easily/better?

The text “anasema” in the bubble with an arrow is appearing on top of the word “analyst” , if I want the text in a bubble with arrow to replace word “analyst” what do I do ? I have tried spacing and enter but it does not replace it, see the picture attached

I have the Nike Globus watch face, and this morning, my watch made a short chime (even though I have it on mute) and vibration, and when I looked at it, the watch face showed a short glowing animation on top of the Nike Globus, with small white specs (kinda like snow) floating on the bottom. I have no idea what this means. Has anyone seen it, or know what it is?

So years ago i had a Gen 1 Apple TV and then went a log time back. Since then I moved jobs a few times and now earn enough that I really committed to the eco system so we are an Apple house. All have iPhones, Apple Watches, iPads, i have a Mac Book Air, Airpods Pros and normal AirPods. so i thought, why not jump into Apple TV.

Main goal was to replace a Sky Mini box i had in the bedroom so i got the 64b wifi Apple TV 4k. Stunning and everything integrates as needed. Airpods hooked in so Wife watches at night and i can sleep, Ipad casts from Amazon as i have a VPN on that and works amazing, Sky Go App works 95% of the time, certainly enough for bedroom viewing. In fact it was so good i bought the 128gb version for the living room and replaced my Nvidea Shield.

the Living room version has stunning picture and sound although i need to either by a new TV or HD Fury for Dolby Vision and Atmos as i have Sonos speakers but again its flawless. Casting from MBA or Ipad or Phone is a breeze and i bloody love it. Should have done it ages ago.
