So I just noticed today at the gym that my left earbud is stuck at one volume (~70%) while my right earbud is able to be normally controlled with the side buttons and the built in touch control for volume control.

These are Bose sport earbuds. Fully charged both sides.

I would raise the volume and only the right earbud would go up, the left side stayed the same volume. Same thing for when I lowered the volume to minimum: the left side would stay at the same volume while the right side went all the way down. The left side only “changes” volume when I put it all the way down to zero, in which case it mutes.

The balance on the phone and the app are +/- 0

So, I started experiencing issues with both Wi-Fi and cellular data on my iPhone XR running on iOS 16.3.1 yesterday. With cellular data, I could see the 'LTE' symbol, but I couldn't browse the internet. Similarly, with Wi-Fi, the signal would show for a second after connecting, but then it would disappear. I decided to update to the latest iOS version and restore from backup, but the problem persisted even after the update. Then, I wiped the phone again and set it up as a new device. This time, the Wi-Fi/LTE was working without any issues. However, when I tried to restore from backup again, the problem returned. I had to start from scratch once more. What a pain in the ass that was... Has anyone else gone through something similar?

I have been using this phone for a while now, and this is the first time I've encountered a major issue like this.

My default notification-tone is the „note“. But some Applications, like my bank App (for 2FA) have this new Duo-Tone, its not from my Bank App because I heard it from multiple Apps, even Apple-Apps. What is this and how do i turn it off?

I’ve just upgraded from my iPhone 11 to a family members old iPhone 12 a few days back, and the performance is far worse in applications. Its fine, but then for example, in Instagram I will hold to unsend a message or reply, and it will freeze before the menu finally appears about 6 seconds later. Same thing with duolingo, i click on a prompt to see the translation and it freezes then unfreezes about 6 seconds later. I never had this issue with the 11 and its really frustrating… any suggestions?

I was messing with my phone while at the gym and Airdrop showed that someone nearby was available to receive something.

My phone is set to contacts only. And I find it hard to believe that some near me set theirs to the “Everyone for 10 minutes” option, especially early in the morning when everyone there was using a machine.

Is this a bug? iPhone 13 with current iOS.

Upgraded my phone from a 13 pro max to the 15 pro max today and noticed all my pictures/videos sent between contacts have disappeared? Our conversation is still there and I can see the pictures/videos in the conversation but not in the separate screen.

Anyone have a solution to this?

Hi there. I'm a long time Pebble and Amazfit Bip user, primarily for their battery life (45 days-ish) and low profile, but it's becoming so much more convincing these days to switch to an Apple Watch for productivity purposes. Can you help me figure out which watch series and model would be ideal?

If the following features are priority for me, which Apple Watch should I consider (if any)?

• Light & low profile: I use watch vibration as my alarm and will want to sleep with it on
• Battery life: Since I sleep with my watch, I'd prefer to not have to charge it daily
• Notifications: Texts, calls, etc
• Outlook calendar view would be nice to have

A few things that are NOT priority for me:

• Fitness tracking
• Cell coverage
• GPS

What kind of battery life could I expect if I turn off all GPS and Fitness functions? I'm all for buying a used one, but I don't know which one to look for. Thanks for any advice. Hopefully it's helpful to more than just me.

Does Apple Watch Series 7 come cellular standard? About to buy one from someone who doesn’t know whether or not it is cellular but I think they all came with that option? If not is there a quick way to check when I meet the guy.

MacBook Pro was working absolutely fine. Closed the lid and returned to it a couple hours later to continue with my work. Was greeted by a black screen.

Visited the Apple Store yesterday. He looked at the display and saw no cracks or evidence of water damage. He reconnected the display cable and still no luck, but it works with an external monitor. He quoted me approx £600 for a replacement as my Mac is now 2.5 years old.

Today I reopened my MacBook and the display worked for 1 minute before going black again.

It’s a bit worrying as I’ve seen a lot of posts similar to mine by just searching Apple in the last 4-5 months.

Has anyone else had this issue? Thinking about lodging a complaint directly to Apple

Any issues with the iPhone 14 Pro Max I need to worry about? I'm looking at a deal on a 1TB 14 Pro Max for $30CAD/month (24 months) and a $420CAD buy out at the end (upgrading from a iPhone 12 128GB).

I don't like the battery life on my 12 so I'm hoping a Pro Max would be a better fit, especially for the price.

Do you guys also get wrong sleep data from the Apple Watch?

In my case I sometimes charge the watch before bed (let's say around 22:30), and my schedule is set for go to sleep from 23:00 till 7:30, I go to bed let's say at 00:30, and wake up at 08:00 (even tho the alarm sound and I turn it off), then the sleep data says that I:

• Have been in bed since 22:30
• Have sleep from 23:00 to 07:30
• Have been up and not sleeping after 07:30

How can I fix this, so the watch registers the correct hours of "be in bed" and be asleep?

PD: my watch is the series 8 and I'm using watchOS 10.1.1

bought new 15 pro max 3 days ago. It reboots by itself every 1-2 hours. problem appeared since the first day of using device. I have latest iOS version and already tried force resetting my phone. This fault can be seen in “analytics data” in options. Perhaps i can send here a screenshot with the text of one of faults, but not sure if it’s safe to share that data with other people.

My boyfriend and I have never shared the passwords for each other's Apple ID, and neither of us has logged in with the other's phone. However, we have the same family plan for iCloud+.

Yesterday, my boyfriend mentioned that he had recently received messages related to my passcode, stating that I am at a high security risk due to using the same passwords for multiple websites.

He also mentioned that he was able to see all the passwords for every website I have logged into.

Why is this happening, and how can I stop it? This is stressing me out, and I desperately need help!

I’ve had the AW6 SS Gold 40mm, since the day it launched and I love the SS Gold look and the fact that it takes me from CrossFit to wedding with just a swap of a band.

Yesterday, I was changing at the locker rooms at my CrossFit gym and it fell and cracked at the upper right corner (image attached). It still works fine, but I’m worried that the water proofing might be compromised and that the glass shards will start falling off.

I was planning on upgrading next year to get the AWX, but now that the 6 cracked I don’t know what to do. I thought of keeping it as is, but if it‘s certain that it will start breaking apart due to the crack expanding, I might as well get the 9 one now that it’s just released.

If I were to get the 9, I would upgrade to the SS Gold 45mm, in order to get a bigger screen. I also consider keeping the AW6 as is for when I want to dress up (maybe add one of those curved screen protectors to hold the shards in place) and get an Ultra 2 for everyday use, but the thought of managing 2 devices seems a big hassle to me. Also, I’ve tried the Ultra 2 and it is quite big for my small female wrists.

Any thoughts to help me decide?

PS. Repairing is not an option, as it costs almost as much as getting a new one if Apple replaces it and 3rd party repair stores ask for $300 for a non-authentic, non-sapphire screen and the watch will not be waterproof anymore…

Anyone else running tvOS 17.2 beta and seeing this issue? If I turn off Siri, pressing the Siri button at all brings up the search. Seems dictation is just not working in 17.2 beta. Have since turned off beta updates so that I just get the stable release, but would like to see if anyone has found a solution before I talk to Apple support.

I am planning on buying an iPhone 15 Pro. I currently have an iPhone X.

I have a Watch Series 4.

Note that iPhone X doesn't get iOS 17, and is stuck on 16. Whereas, the Watch Series 4 does get the new WatchOS 10.

Here's my concern -- if the Watch will need to be updated to WatchOS 10, to work with the iPhone 15 Pro which will obviously be on iOS 17 -- then, if I were to return the iPhone 15 Pro, and go back to using my iPhone X, I would be unable to downgrade the watchOS (since you can't do this anyways), therefore, buying the iPhone 15 Pro and updating my Watch Series 4 to WatchOS 10 would effectively lock me in, leaving me unable to return the phone and still use my watch.

I am hoping my Series 4 will pair with the iPhone 15 Pro without needing the new WatchOS, but I am not sure.

(Or, alternatively, if the Series 4 could be updated to WatchOS 10 *and still work with an iPhone that is on iOS 16).

Does anyone know if Apple has a list of what OS's specifically support pairing with each other?
