Hi all. I’ve bought a new series 9 a few days ago and it has this battery drain problem that’ll just happen when I’m not wearing it. As you can see from the graph it losses battery just sitting there on my table when I go to work. Is there a setting I should turn off? Please help and thanks all.

So I've found an apple watch in a parking garage. Saw it when I parked and it was still there when I left a couple of hours later.

I checked the medical ID, number there is no good. No name, nothing. What else can I do to get in contact with the person?

So yeah… ordered a 15 Pro Max Natural Titanium 256gb a few weeks ago, my parcel was delivered a few days ago and lo and behold inside is a brand new 14 Pro Max 1TB.

Has anyone else experienced this? I contacted support a few days ago and they seemed pretty useless. An ‘investigation’ has been opened but no mention of returning the 14 and me getting the device I actually ordered…

Me and my girlfriend sold her series 7 Apple watch for $250 to some guy off of Facebook marketplace. He tried to pair it to his phone after we did a factory reset and it asked for her activation lock. We're going to meet up with him and remove the activation lock today. When we type in her username and password, remove the activation lock. Does that completely remove her account from the Apple watch?. Or do we have to worry about this guy getting her Apple account information and cards attached to the Apple account?

Hi, I have an old iPhone 7 laying around that I wish to give to someone but I forgot its pin and I haven't used that apple ID for a while. Is there a way I can access the phone!? BTW, I don't setup fingerprint on any devices.

For me, it would be at least 128 GB (minimum) storage. We were really balling with 16 GB iphones even less than 10 years ago lol.

So my rommmate/best friend has been using an iphone 6 for the last 9 years. 16 GB at that. Just constantly deleting shit all the time or dealing with apps that don't necessarily work anymore properly.

For him, it really just worked so he never bothered to upgrade.

Well, the universe finally intervened today when he visited me at the bar i worked at and later left his phone on the roof and it went flying (we live literally across the street so he was fine to drive) and someone ran over it. The phone surprisingly still works albeit completely bonkers screen but after convincing him to treat himself and move to the actual new age, we went to the apple store.

Homie JUST got an iphone 15 Pro Max today (he got something better than me) and immediately he was caught off guard with the lack of Touch ID and the gestures.

So my 15 pro max was delivered today and I have no idea how it works. I used android my entire life and ios is pretty weird to me. Any tips on how to learn to use it?

For the past two days I've been receiving this error whenever I try to watch anything on Apple TV. Anyone else having/had this issue? How do you resolve it?

Hi, my iPhone 15 Pro Max was stolen last weekend in Cleveland, OH, USA, and despite erasing the phone info, etc, I can still track it on FindMy and it appears the phone is on the other side of town with it apparently being inside of a car. With the fact I can still track the iPhone, prove it’s mine and can still see where it is, should I aleast try and call the police to try and get it back before going through all the other AppleCare hassle? I will note it is on a very bad side of the city, so I wouldn’t go over there unless I had police with me. I paid it off in-full too.

Is there a way to set the device to permanently delete photos right away without sending them to the 'Recently Deleted' folder? I'm looking for a solution that bypasses this folder, so I don't have to manually empty it later.

I create long and space consuming videos rhen I share them through airdrop . And once shared I want to immediately delete them to allow space for future videos . The problem they are not fully deleted unless I go manually delete them from the delete folder .. Yes, It can be done but when you have to manually do this many times It becomes time consuming .. Thats why I look for a way to completely wipe up videos as soon as hit the delete button

Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

So, I was a Windows user for... 15 years (Had lots of different PC and laptop configurations throughout the years) and in the past 2-3 years I noticed the sleek and beautiful design of the apple laptops and fell in love with them. As the MBA M2 came out I literally freaked out (in a positive way) as how this laptop is just gorgeous. So I bought the midnight base model for (1100$). I'm a software developer working with .NET, ASP.NET, PHP, MySQL and MSSQL tech stack. Coming from a Lenovo Gaming IdeaPad 3 that has 1TB SSD, GTX 1650 and 32GB of RAM (have this laptop as a backup).

My main concern before buying this laptop was the following:

• Will the base model be enough for me as it has the bare minimum for 2023? (8GB of RAM and 256GB)? Like my iPhone has the same storage... bruh.
• The ability to actually do programming as .NET is Microsoft's back yard.
• How hard will be to learn MacOS as I never touched it in my life.
• What am I doing with my life spending on a second very expensive machine.
• Do I actually need it as I already have a quite descent laptop.
• Should I go up for the 16GB and 512GB?
• Apple Ecosystem?

Here are the answers:

1. Will it be enough? YES, yes and yes! I constantly have more than 10+ tabs opened in MS Edge (Don't judge me on the MS Edge lol), VS Code open, XAMPP with MySQL in the background running, Docker for the MSSQL, watching YouTube videos all the time with almost everything I mentioned opened in the background. It does hit the limit of the 8GB don't get me wrong, but it has swap memory with the SSD so it still feels smooth (Unlike Windows sometimes even with 32GB :P ) As for storage, I subscribed to apples ICloud+ and bought 200GB per month of ICloud storage. All my data is stored there and as a plus I have access to it even on my iPhone.
2. As for actual programming, if you are planning on developing WinForms or WPF or something really Windows specific, sorry then but Mac ain't for you. As for ASP.NET Microsoft has developed .NET Core which runs on Mac and Linux. The only downside of this is that Visual Studio 2022 is a lot different and, in my opinion, not that good on Mac, for Nugget commands and other you need to learn DotNet CLI. PHP, XAMPP, MySQL are practically the same on Win and Mac.
3. MacOS is not that hard, you really need to give it time to learn it (I learnt the fundamentals in 4-5 days). As you get used to it you start to love it. Just hate the windows management, but that's fixable with 3rd party apps.
4. Why did I do this? The design of the laptop, the battery life (lasts me 8+ hours per session with an external monitor hooked up), the keyboard, the screen, the portability, weight... Oh boy I can go on and on...
5. To be real here, no... I didn't need it to be completely honest. But (there's always a but) if you find something that you absolutely fell in love with, you buy it :D
6. Do you need the upgrade? It depends really on your budget and how much you plan to spend. Base model was 1100$, to upgrade it to 16GB I needed to add an extra 400 bucks (which is a lot tbh). If I wanted to buy the 16GB and 512GB variant I need to spend a bit over 1800$ which in my opinion is too much money to spend.
7. Integration with iPhone? Best thing ever! You can open ex. Safari on iPhone, an icon will appear on mac, you click it and the site on the safari iPhone opens on the mac. iMessages are just fantastic! iCloud integration... copy something on the iPhone paste it on the Mac. Use your iPhone as a web cam, quick import export from/to iPhone or mac. Apple did really good, kudos for you apple :)

So all in all the final verdict is, if you are planning on getting the MBA M2 I recommend it for programming even with the base variant.

I have an iPhone and a family member has appletv subscription. Is there a way for me to be able to use that appletv subscription on my phone without paying additional? Thanks

So, I’ve bought an IPhone 15 Pro Max at the Apple Store around a month ago and although there is nothing wrong with it, I’ve noticed the serial number starts with N, which is either a replacement model or refurbished. It came in the box and everything, like every new phone. Was I misled? Should I go back to the store or this is normal and expected, even though it should be a brand new?
